00:17Rebs are up for the first time this year and down for 250 East. And Dudney is going to grab
00:25the whole shot. Got Cole Davies, his teammate right there.
00:28And Jaleek Swole in the third position, a factory triumph racing. Like Davies wrestling in a way. What a start
00:36to the rookie. Had a rookie last year with Cole Davies, now new rookie Caden Dudney, getting a fantastic start,
00:43but comes up short on the triple out of the corner. Swole gets by. Great run by Swole there to
00:49take over second. Missed all of supercross last year with a torn Achilles and he is back with a vengeance.
00:55Got Luke Neese, Cohen Park coming through next, but Cole Davies doing what he was expected to do and that's
01:00going very fast.
01:03No surprise to see this from Cole Davies and man, this guy, you want to talk about riding style and
01:09form on a motorcycle. He is a lot of fun to watch. Super impressive.
01:13And his whooped entry is absolutely incredible. Just how his positioning on the motorcycle is superb.
01:23Now this section right here, triple, triple, and then they'll eventually quad into the corner. Massive, massive rhythm lane.
01:30Had a chance to ask in his second pro year, Cole Davies, what his goals were for the season?
01:36I mean, just limit the mistakes. You know, you win it on your bad nights. Limit the mistakes, have some
01:43good nights and hopefully get some wins and just have a good season all around.
01:47Just positive, keep it good and strides my potential.

02:18And that's the case for Cole Davies as well. Pulling away a bit from Swole and Dudley.

02:28And why they are tricky is because there's 11 whoops and they're slick as well.
02:34So guys will be dancing. That backhand will be dancing left to right. Not a lot of grip there.
02:39This is Drew Adams on the left of the 35 looking to move forward.
02:43He's got Marshall Welton on the MX-6 Kawasaki 65.
02:47And Devin Simons of the Club of X Yamaha getting another shot.
02:51Picked up a great ride with that team last year. Broke his wrist. They brought him back.
02:54Here comes Adams trying to work. Welton the veteran out of Michigan. Adams makes the move.
03:00Yeah, fantastic pass by Drew Adams. Has the inside. That's the advantage line there.
03:06And Adams, he was on kind of the same progression as Davies.
03:09So got to be some incentive there to want to match what Davies is doing.
03:13So great to see Adams running up front here early on.
03:17Yeah, a couple of years ago, he was battling Davies for those SMX Next wins. JT.
03:23He sure was, Weijin. And really, you look at the difference as he makes a big mistake there.
03:27A lot of this has been about the starts as they both transition to their professional level.
03:32You look at the lap times. There's not a lot of difference there.
03:34Both of them have the skill set.
03:36But Cole Davies, again, here starts in second. Gets the lead immediately.
03:40And Drew Adams, once again, is battling through traffic.
03:43And you look back through their professional careers.
03:45A lot of it could be, you could draw an immediate parallel to their first lap position.
03:49Let's take a look at that bottom screen with Dudney there.
03:53All over Swole.
03:54This guy was racing the SMX Next class in the West Division races.
04:00What was that, four weeks ago?
04:02He won that race.
04:04And unbelievable to see him now making the pro debut.
04:07Looks like a completely different rider.
04:10Woo!
04:10Trying to try the outside line.
04:12Can he get Swole here?
04:14Swole shuts it off.
04:15But what's even more impressive, this is a quick call-up for the 82.
04:19And look at how quickly he's learning lessons in Supercross.
04:23Oh, now Nate Thrasher is going to join the party on the 25.
04:25And he goes by them both.
04:27Oh, he tries to get a two for one.
04:29And he does straight up the inside.
04:32Those guys didn't expect that.
04:34Great to see Nate getting up there, making a money move for sure.
04:40Wasn't that spectacular in qualifying practice?
04:43This is a massive turnaround.
04:46But like we talked about at the top of the show, to be expected.
04:50This guy has won a lot of, I say a lot of races, six races.
04:54But those wins came at huge moments against some great guys.
04:59So Dundee now going to deal with Cullen Park there on the 49.
05:03And then Adams and Simonson, who are still battling.
05:05It's close everywhere except for the lead.
05:09As it's six seconds, the gap between Davies and everybody else.
05:16Grasher working on the consistency.
05:18That has been the issue within the last couple of years.
05:21You mentioned those wins.
05:22Winning race is not a problem.
05:24Here's Adams working on Park, who's on the Phoenix Honda.
05:27I talked to Adams earlier in the week.
05:29He thought the starts, they worked very hard.
05:32He was very confident with the bike.
05:33And what work he's done that they were going to have it dialed didn't work in the heat.
05:37And they're catching Dundee now.
05:39Well, the challenge for Drew Adams is going to be those starts all season long.
05:43Because he is a bigger in stature guy.
05:46A little bit heavier than some of his competitors.
05:49And that's going to, you know, rob a little bit of horsepower down on that 250 machine.
05:54So he's going to have his work cut out for him in improving in that area.
05:59And having to come through the pack at times.
06:02But he's doing a fantastic job in this heat race right now.
06:05Now, water out of Chattanooga, Tennessee, battling right now with Park.
06:09See if he goes to the inside there to try to make a move like Nate.
06:13But he doesn't.
06:17Colin Park was very fast in qualifying practice earlier today.
06:22Riding well on that Phoenix Honda.
06:25Colin running very good through the whoops.
06:28He had a really good whoops speed.
06:30Huge help.
06:32And this is that big rhythm lane right here.
06:34Some of the 250 guys not able to go triple, triple, quad.
06:39White flag coming out here for Davies.
06:41As Adams and Park, probably the two biggest guys out here.
06:46Park, pretty large in stature for a Supercross racer in his own right.
06:50As they fight for fifth.
06:52You watch this racetrack right now.
06:55And going through the whoops, Jason.
06:56I mean, it is, they're flying through there.
06:59But those whoops are going to go away.
07:01We saw how deteriorated they got in qualifying practice.
07:06They got beat down.
07:08They got slick.
07:09They got edgy.
07:11Some guys jumping through there.
07:13Some guys blitzing.
07:15They are going to be a challenge.
07:16And that's where the money is going to be made here later on tonight come main event time.
07:22And time is running out.
07:24And this one has parked.

07:42And we're going to watch the battle for the final spot here.
