00:00We're still in the winter, and the Winter Olympics is coming to a crescendo here.
00:03Of course, a lot of folks are just dialed in to all the hockey that's going on right now, John.
00:07It's happening during the day, but it seemingly hasn't stopped folks from watching.
00:11Strong viewership continues.
00:13Yeah, hockey is definitely one of the highlights as far as ratings go.
00:17The U.S.-Sweden game a couple of days ago had peaked at 8.9 million viewers.
00:22It averaged 6.9 million viewers.
00:24Now, overall, for NBC, they're getting more than 20 million viewers across its live afternoon and primetime programming,
00:32and they've been at that level for an amazing 13 straight days.
00:36You don't see 20 million people tuning in for much besides football these days,
00:40so for NBC to be getting those kinds of numbers for the Olympics is pretty fantastic.
00:45On the streaming side, NBC's Peacock has been generating 12.9 billion minutes of Olympic viewing so far,
00:52and that's almost double all of the previous Olympics combined in terms of streaming.
00:58And like you said, we're looking at the U.S. over Canada in women's hockey will also produce a big
01:05bump.
01:06Michaela Schifrin winning gold, another highlight.
01:09We'll be getting those numbers in pretty soon.
01:10And then coming up, everybody's got their fingers crossed that Canada will pull through
01:15and be able to meet the U.S. men in the hockey season.
01:18And, of course, skating is always popular, and there have been a lot of big numbers for that as well.
01:221.
01:225.
01:237.
