01:46just yet i know the bears put a statement out today i know the state of illinois canceled a planned
01:52press conference today talking about their uh attempts to keep chicago in illinois but it's a wrap
01:58it's over the chicago bears are no longer the chicago bears now to be fair i was a child when
02:07uh we lost
02:08the new york giants and the new york jets yeah uh to the state of new jersey so i can't
02:13speak to it as an
02:14adult and as a super fan of either one of those teams in adulthood but i can tell you this
02:20no matter
02:21what any jet fan or giant fans tell you it's embarrassing that the new york jets and the new
02:27york giants do not play home football games anywhere in the state of new york i know we've gotten over

02:33i know we've gotten used to it i know we've made it a part of our sunday rituals you know
02:38crossing the
02:39hudson river and going to new jersey to watch one of our two favorite teams play but the reality is
02:45this it is a black mark on the history of a town and a state and a city when you
02:52not when you cannot
02:53keep an nfl franchise in that city or in that state so i was not old enough to remember it

03:01emotional reaction to it i can speak to it because i did live through it and my family lived through

03:07and my fellow fans have lived through it and there is nothing good about losing an nfl franchise to a
03:15neighboring state now the flip side of course is congratulations indiana indiana is now an nfl city
