00:00The Indiana House passed the stadium framework bill for the Chicago Bears by a 95-4 vote.
00:05The proposal includes $1 billion in state-backed finance, which means, again,
00:10an NFL organization worth billions is going to get a billion from a state.
00:13Meanwhile, J.B. Pritzker, who is the governor of Illinois,
00:15is preparing incentive legislation to keep the Bears in state.
00:18That's the key to negotiation.
00:20Have two people on opposite sides fighting for your services,
00:23it only gets a windfall for the NFL team, which is the Chicago Bears.
00:29Yeah, the Bears slow played this to a tee, Donnie, did they not?
00:34They are the ones that are going to make out with all of this, and that's a good job for
00:41them.
00:42I mean, they played the state, they played the city,
00:45they played everybody to get exactly, ultimately, Donnie,
00:48what they wanted from the very beginning, which was more money in a new stadium,
00:51and that's exactly what they're going to get.
