18:33so the market is suffering quite a lot and we understand it because there's some data that is quite amazing
18:42for example did you know that 97% of the daily trips of Europeans are less than 100 km per
18:52day
18:53the occupation of cars is 1.4 people per car in the big cities in Europe and the cost of
19:01the cars have raised 30% in the last years so this all these things are making people to think
19:08twice when they think about buying a car
19:12the thing is they want us to buy large cars designed for long long trips inefficient heavy super expensive and
19:24hard for the daily for daily basis instead of what you probably need which is a very light very efficient
19:31cheap affordable car and so of course also a sexy car
19:38because design is key always and so what we're trying to do is to bring something that really makes sense
19:45for consumers today and for the kind of cities we need and for the planet
19:50so that you can buy the car you need instead the car they want you to buy a car that

20:01so we've developed the Lux Gecko which is basically a car that can reduce be much more efficient and reduce
20:09the cost of ownership by 30% compared to the leading urban car that exists today reducing 50% of
20:16the weight 40% more energy efficient and less CO2 footprint at least 40% reduction in CO2 footprint compared
20:25with the most efficient urban car today
20:28and how do we do this through technology we've been developing for the last two years the first area of

22:08take your car to a charging station and back to the city so it makes the operation much easier
22:15and the third area of work we've been developing is the industrialization of all these concepts how to make it
22:22super sustainable and super lean and we are using 3D printing to produce the moulds of production of the cars
22:30instead of steel moulds we are building thermoplastic moulds which are much cheaper faster and require less energy to be
22:39produced as we don't produce with stamping metal
22:42our processes don't need so much structural capacity for the moulds so we can have them build with thermoplastic with
22:513D printing and that makes a lot of sense in terms of capex reduction
22:56all this we prototyped into one car which is the LUX animal you can see it there I think it's
23:03quite amazing quite beautiful you can see a video now of the car we've prototyped all these technologies into a
23:10first unit
23:11as you can see it as you can see it as you can see it as you can see it
23:13as you can see completely functional it's a compact car 5 seater 4 doors 240 horsepower
23:200-100 kmph in 5 seconds quite performance and yeah we've prototyped all these developments into this first unit into
23:31a complex car into a quite complex segment of cars and then designing all everything
23:39chassis battery packs power train interior exterior software everything and after this we have taken all these learnings and all
23:48this technology into the LUX Gecko
23:50which we believe makes a lot of sense as we mentioned before for today's needs people today need something different
23:57cities today need something different the planet needs something different
24:01something that is much more efficient and something that is at your service instead of you being at the service
24:06of your car constantly
24:08so we believe this makes a lot of sense because it's in between the kind of cars we have already
24:14and the kind of micro mobility which is sometimes unsafe
24:18so this car is super efficient super light affordable and super thought for the daily use in cities in cities
24:26to park easily not generate more traffic and very suitable for car sharing companies
24:34today we have developed these two prototypes and we expect to be in production by the beginning of 2025 next
24:42year will be homologation and installing the first production line
24:45don't imagine a Geiger factory it's quite a small factory mini factory super lean in which we will be able
24:53to produce up to 15,000 cars per year
24:56but we are not going to start there we are going to ramp up from 3,000 cars per year
25:005,000 cars 8,000 cars in the year 3 so a ramp up of production
25:07until we get to a very profitable production in the year 3 year 2 is already 2026 year 2 of
25:14production is already positive EBITDA year 3 we already have a 30% gross margin
25:20which is quite interesting in terms of business plan and we are raising 10 million euro investment round for this
25:28purpose to install our first factory
25:30and to homologate our cars so with this investment round we can be already in the market and selling cars
25:36in 2025

25:55we are not even going to paint the bodywork we leave the linen at sites because it's beautiful and it's
26:02because big because it's much more sustainable not to paint the car

26:33what a big big common problem like when it comes to car manufacturers today and being car owners is we've
26:40lost the right to repair our own cars
26:42you know if you go back to the Volkswagen the Beetle you know people could people could take that thing
26:46apart they could fix their own thing
26:48and we lost that today I mean a car like this do we have that right again or not
26:53we're looking for that to be honest electric cars don't break down as much as internal combustion engine cars
27:03it's calculated that electric cars need to be repaired a third of internal combustion engine car
27:11but especially the most significant part where you can have a problem is the battery pack so by having it
27:20modular you can easily extract it and replace it with a functioning one
27:25so actually in the midterm long term our model is not to buy the battery but to have a service
27:33model in which you pay monthly and you assure yourself that you're gonna be a working battery pack
