During candid conversations, I've heard some men express that becoming a father was difficult because it snatched away something invaluable from them - their "my time." However, I strongly feel that if men can find a way to overcome this initial sense of loss and an inner resistance they have to getting involved in childcare, fatherhood can be a very unique, transformative and life-changing experience.
In my own journey as a father, I've experienced the magic of going beyond the narrow confines of my male narcissism and finding immense joy in fatherhood. I have come to realize that the little joys of fatherhood are a greater treasure than all the big excitements that we chase in life.
