00:00The fastest horse of the week brought to you as always by the fast sires at Windstar and the first
00:04foals are now arriving for one of those fast sires and that would be Heartland, a son of Justify who's
00:11a half brother to Eclipse champion two-year-old and Preakness runner-up Classic Empire.
00:17Heartland had a brilliant debut victory going five and a half furlongs at Del Mar as a two-year-old
00:22earned a 90 fire speed figure for that win, five and a half furlongs at 103.20.
00:28That 90 was the second highest ever for a two-year-old by Justify.
00:33And take a look at the comparable index on his initial book of mayors.
00:37It's the second highest of any new stallion standing for a fee of $15,000 or less.
00:43And Heartland is now covering his second book of mayors at Windstar for a fee of just $10,000.
00:50For the fastest horse of the week, you can go to Delta Downs in the sixth race on Saturday, the
00:56Louisiana-bred Premier Night Championship.
01:01And that should tell you all you need to know about who that would be.
01:05Once again, touch upon a star, our fastest horse of the week.
01:09All he did in that race at Delta Downs was win by 11 and a half lengths, completely eased up
01:16by his rider with a buyer's speed figure of 106.
01:19That makes a buyer's speed figure run now of 104 for this horse back in October.
01:27108 in the Delta Mile, in which he won by 10 lengths as the 1-20 favorite.
01:33All right, then he slacked up a bit at the fairgrounds when he won the fairgrounds Louisiana Classic with a
01:401-0-1 buyer, only winning by eight and three quarters.
01:43And now this 1-0-6 tour de force at Delta.
01:46Think back, at the Pegasus World Cup, they made a strong bid to get Touch Upon a Star to leave
01:52Delta Downs and come to Gulfstream Park.
01:54They thought they had him, fell through.
01:57Maybe we'll see Touch Upon a Star again in the Fairgrounds Classic, where last year in March, if you recall,
02:03he defeated Sierra Leone.
02:05What a Louisiana bred.
02:06Touch Upon a Star, once again, our fastest horse of the week.
