00:00You were photographed going into the Mets facility.
00:02I'm hoping this got brought up.
00:04Yeah.
00:05You know, most free agents, when they have their old bag and they bring it in and they
00:09discard it soon after when they get the new bag, you got some criticism for bringing in
00:14the Yankee bag.
00:14Did you hear the criticism?
00:15And what do you think about that?
00:17I thought it was a bit silly.
00:18Personally, I understand why people are, I wouldn't say an uproar, but why they're talking
00:24about it.
00:24Like, I get it.
00:25But to your point, it's very common to bring your old bag to your new team.
00:29They don't first class airmail, a new bag.
00:32So I didn't get a new bag from the Mets, like a duffel bag.
00:34I personally just didn't have like besides grocery bags or something.
00:38I just didn't really have anything to put my stuff in.
00:40Part of me is like, yeah, I don't necessarily want to take the Yankees bag because I'm not
00:44a Yankee, but I know that this is just a normal process.
00:47I just need people to take a deep breath.
00:48Know that I love the Mets now.
00:51I'm a Met.
00:52I love where I'm at.
00:53I love the teammates so far.
00:55I hope to win as many trophies as possible here.
00:58And I hope to do that with the fans behind us and rooting for me and doing so.
01:03So the bag meant nothing.
