00:00Good evening and welcome to the
00:06excitement of the NBA Grizzlies
00:07basketball is presented by FanDuel
00:09from Chase Center in the China
00:11Basin Basin neighborhood of San
00:14Francisco the Grizzlies take on the
00:15Golden State Warriors second of
00:17three meetings between these two
00:18teams Golden State has lost three
00:20in a row and the Grizzlies well
00:22they're in the midst of a one and
00:23two road trip.
00:23Hello again everybody Pete
00:24Pranica Brevin Knight on hand
00:26Rob Fish will join us momentarily
00:27it's not the brothers Karamazov
00:29tonight in the Southland Players
00:31Spotlight it is the brothers
00:34Spencer Cam Spencer for the
00:36Grizzlies fourth in the league in
00:37three point shooting yeah and Cam
00:38what I expect between the Spencer
00:40brothers almost like all star game
00:41if they get matched up against one
00:43another see if everyone else moves
00:45to the side and allows them to have
00:46a little backyard brawl between the
00:48two and what we've been able to see
00:50from cancer here as of late is not
00:52as much main ball handling a lot
00:54more being able to play off of the
00:56ball because of the number of
00:57ball handlers that the Grizzlies
00:59have gotten back from injury that
01:00has allowed him to now be more of a
01:02score for this team still has the
01:04facilitating facilitating
01:06opportunities but they need his
01:08shooting and they need his scoring
01:09and because of it he's been
01:11efficient from the arc again well
01:13meanwhile Pat Spencer now his Golden
01:15State team they've lost their last
01:16three here at home and Pat Spencer had
01:18his two-way converted to a full NBA
01:19contract and now has been a starter and
01:22the thing that you see from Pat
01:23Spencer is the same as you see from Cam
01:25is the competitive spirit at which
01:27they play the game but the
01:28understanding of what needs to be
01:30done for their team and it's not just
01:32the shooting from the perimeter it's
01:34getting themselves into the painted
01:35area it's being at the right place at
01:37the right time on the defensive side to
01:40negate some of the things that may be a
01:42deficiency for the two of them the
01:44Grizzlies have to do a good job of not
01:46just slowing down Pat Spencer but slowing
01:48down the Warriors offense not allowing it to
01:50move from side to side if they can keep
01:53them more to one side it'll slow down
01:55some of the shot opportunities that
01:56they get on the weak side for the
01:58Grizzlies there's some healthy point
01:59guards including Scottie Pippen Jr it's
02:01nice to have both of those guys on the
02:02floor together that means that the up
02:04the court pressure can be less for
02:06this Grizzlies team more shot creation
02:08only I have any half court set this
02:10Golden State team has won the last
02:11seven meetings between these two
02:13teams here at Chase Center Grizzlies
02:15will try to end that streak tonight but
02:19they're going to have to stop the
02:19three point shot of Golden State
02:21they're going to stop the three point
02:22shot and they're going to make a
02:23couple of threes on the other end
02:24also you can't allow them to be
02:26there's a seven three point
02:28discrepancy the last time you'd like
02:29to keep that to four or less tonight
02:32yeah Golden State shoots 51 percent
02:35of their shots from beyond the arc
02:36Brandon Pujemski he has had some
02:39really good games against the
02:40Grizzlies in the past Golden State
02:42has not won a home game since Jimmy
02:44Butler went out with the ACL injury
02:47but as I said they've won their last
02:48seven over the Grizzlies here at Chase
02:50Center averaging a hundred and twenty
02:52four points per game in those chase
02:55center tonight here in San Francisco to
02:57take on the Golden State Warriors
02:58second of three meetings between these
02:59two teams 25th anniversary season of
03:02Memphis Grizzlies basketball presented
03:03by pinnacle financial partners play
03:05hard bank easy they also present
03:07effective advice I'll tell you this
03:08much partner even when Steph Curry is
03:10not playing one of the bigger things for
03:12this warrior team is they are the
03:14number one three-point attempting team
03:16and the number one three-point made
03:18team so the Grizzlies got to do a great
03:20job of creating three-point shot
03:22opportunities for themselves and they're
03:23going to knock down into the double
03:25digit threes here tonight but they're
03:27also going to do a good job of contesting
03:29without fouling because of the number of
03:31threes that will be taken this will be a
03:33contest that they cannot allow a big
03:36disparity from the three-point line
03:38Golden State takes 51 percent of their
03:40shots from beyond the arc that's the
03:42pinnacle effective advice of the game
03:43back with the starting lineups an
03:45opening tip after this on FanDuel
03:47Sports Network
03:50Grizzlies and Warriors tonight from
03:51Chase Center let's get tonight's
03:53starting lineups presented by Ortho
03:55Zouth Grizzlies at 20 and 31 on the
03:57season they'll line up this way it'll be
03:59Ty Jerome, Cedric Coward, Jalen Wells,
04:01Gigi Jackson and Kyle Anderson for head
04:04coach Tomas Isilou Golden State comes in
04:06at 28 and 25 they're in the 10 spot in
04:10the Western Conference they will start
04:12with Pat Spencer, D'Anthony Melton in the
04:14backboard, Moses Moody, Guy Santos and
04:16Draylon Green for head coach Steve
04:19Kerr. Let's quickly go downstairs for a
04:21Robin Hood sideline report from Fish.
04:23Well you mentioned Gigi Jackson back in
04:24the starting lineup for the Grizzlies
04:26tonight he's got double digit scoring in
04:27five straight and eight of the last nine
04:29up for the Grizzlies with the season
04:31high 19 against Minnesota back on
04:33January 31st. Now head coach Tomas
04:35Isilou said Gigi if you know him he's very
04:37animated and extroverted person it's a
04:39great quality to have as long as it doesn't
04:41derail your focus in the game and he said I
04:43think it's been a lot of less extra in these
04:45games and body language. He's very focused. He's
04:48getting a step on a guy and keeps him on his
04:49shoulder and able to finish last five almost 15
04:53points a game for Gigi.
04:54Revit as you well know we have three
04:57officials in a sort of one time. They
04:58have been assigned by the NBA. Scott
05:00Washington 32nd season 263 draft games
05:0326 finals games. JB DeRosa ninth season
05:0612th playoff game CJ Washington in his
05:08tenth NBA season. Ken Spencer working
05:13against Jalen Wells. Spencer starting his
05:15seventh game averaging 14 and a half in
05:18his starts this season in an early Gigi
05:21Jackson file. Life care injury report. Walter
05:28Clayton is out with a calf contusion. Aldama
05:30remains out along with Clark, Edie and
05:32Morant and Jimmy Butler the ACL tear and
05:35both of the Curry's out in Porzingis. They're
05:38not sure when he's going to be healthy
05:39enough to play. Draymond Green lost it out
05:41of bounds. Grizzlies basketball 20 seconds
05:43in. Well Grizzlies take advantage one of the
05:46areas wars have always been a turnover prone
05:49basketball team. So see if they can convert
05:52the turnovers that the Warriors will make
05:54and keep theirs down on this end. Grizzlies
05:57coming off an 0-2 trip to Portland and nearly a
06:01turnover. Coward is able to rake it back in.
06:04Shot clock down to seven for Ty Jerome. Jerome
06:07working against the Anthony Melton. He loses the
06:09handle. Shot clock down to two. He's going to
06:11need to try a low go three. And a shot clock
06:14violation. So two possessions and two
06:18turnovers. Golden State coming off a Saturday
06:21night loss against the Lakers 105-99. Shot was
06:2342 percent. Donchage did not play in that game
06:27and the Lakers doing what the Lakers do. Plus 19 in
06:30attempted free throws. Santos drives, sets up that
06:34corner three off the back iron. Draymond Green tries to
06:37keep it alive off the miss by Moses Moody. A little
06:40different matchup for Kyle Anderson tonight at the
06:42center position. Not having a fight against
06:44Klingon on the interior. We'll just have the more
06:47savvy. Draymond Green. Coward sets up Kyle. He gets
06:52bumped heavily. It's up. It's off and a foul on
06:55Draymond Green. That'll be number one on him.
07:00He's coming off the Saturday loss in Portland. 122 to
07:031-15. Portland dropped in 21 threes and
07:06Brevin, you touched on it in the pregame show
07:09tonight. The Grizzlies ability to defend the
07:11three-point line is going to be absolutely
07:13massive tonight against the Golden State team
07:15that leads the league in pretty much every
07:18three-point category you can think of. You can't
07:21overcommit to drive to the basket. You have to be
07:24more show and get back to the three-point line. You
07:27want to encourage this Warriors team to be more of
07:31a two-point shooting and effective team than a
07:34team that draws you in and then the kickouts
07:37ignite them on with the three ball. Golden
07:40State takes 51 percent of their shots from the
07:43arc and 43 percent of their points come from
07:46three-point makes. And Kyle Anderson goes two for
07:48two from the free throw line in his second
07:50appearance for the Grizzlies in his 12th
07:51season out of UCLA. Pretty much the makeup of
07:55this basketball. So you look on the floor right
07:57now. The majority of you let Draymond Green of
08:01course be a three-point shooter. But you won't
08:04allow the other guys to just tee it up from the
08:07arc. Draymond Green will try and miss badly. And the
08:11rebound. Coward took it away from Guy Santos. Coward on a
08:15quick advantage.
08:22Coward up and under against Pat Spencer as the double
08:25clutched it up and in. And Cedric Coward-Grevin, if
08:28you're looking for him to have a good game on this
08:30road trip, he struggles really on the road. Fairly
08:33comfortable at home. Spencer gets that three.
08:37You can't have no defense to me. It's a
08:39miscommunication. Two guys that are saying we
08:41say if you're going to switch with same size, the
08:44switching defender has to be up when you switch. If
08:47you're going to be behind, you give up those type
08:50looks to a good three-point shooter team. And then
08:52they had a long arm of Moody on the basketball
08:55forcing a turnover. Spencer gives it back to
08:57Moody. Raymond Green lays it in. And Golden
09:00State has the lead.
09:03What about their one-on-one defenders? Moody
09:04very good. We all know what Melton is able to do on
09:08the ball also. So the Grizzlies have to take care of
09:10the basketball. Anderson ends up going to the
09:13the floor and turns it over. Melton not a clean
09:19catch. He'll try. Miss off the heel. And the
09:22rebound Coward. He was fouled by Moody.
09:25We're going to let that go if the ball hadn't gone
09:29all the way out of bounds. But you see Coward
09:31gets to the basket. Nice little alteration of
09:34the shot there. Gets it to go down. A nice ball
09:38fake to give him the drive to the basket. There
09:41won't be much shot blocking on both sides
09:44here tonight. So you'll have drive and shot
09:47opportunities in the paint. Coward drives on
09:50Santos. Wells out of the corner for three.
09:52Rims off. Anderson got the first look at a
09:54rebound. It's got Foster says there's a Golden
09:56State loose ball foul underneath.
10:04The Konica Minolta Biz Hub desk is high atop
10:06Chase Center. So didn't see the signal from
10:10Scott Foster. It's on Pat Spencer. So Spencer
10:15picks up his first personal foul. The good
10:18high above here though. We got a nice big
10:20boot. Yes. And we're at half court. Yes. With
10:23nothing obstructing our view. They're all with a
10:27floater. A couple games ago he said it is not
10:32many people who have a floater at his level.
10:35Santos able to walk into a three without
10:37anyone defending him. But he shoots it from
10:40multi-level with the floater also. Drives, stops and
10:44hits again. Some of his shots Grevin looks so
10:48awkward but he's obviously comfortable with
10:50them. Moody runs down that long pass. Melton
10:53driving and looking to score in the foul on Gigi
10:56Jackson. Melton will go to the line for two. See
11:01here in this move here. Just saw him one step
11:05floated early. This one is two steps. Hold the
11:09last one. Fade away and finish as you're going
11:12down. That whole hold step is kind of the new
11:15vogue thing in the NBA. Yeah. You're seeing it
11:18across the league and in a variety of ways the
11:21players are starting to be able to hold that last
11:24step. Whether they're going to score or to get
11:26yourself out of trouble to make a pass to a
11:29teammate. Gigi Jackson picked up his second
11:31personal foul. So Taylor Hendricks in Anthony
11:36Melton. Of course his time here in Golden
11:41State has been limited due to injury. Jerome that
11:49three is off and then somehow tapped in. They're
11:52going to call basket interference or they're
11:54going to call defensive goaltending. Wait. J.B.
12:02signaled that count it. We didn't touch the
12:07ball at all. Right. Well the P.A. announcer
12:09said it was offensive basket interference but
12:11J.B. DeRosa signaled that the basket's good. He
12:15said he did it again. He said count the best. Right.
12:17Okay. All right. We got it right now. Grizzlies
12:24lead at ten seven. Melton off the bounce takes
12:26it stronger. Walked by Kyle Anderson and the
12:29ball knocked out of bounds and Scott Foster
12:31says Grizzlies ball. Sometimes you just got to
12:39be smart. You might not have the size. Might have
12:41strength. But do you have the mental to be able to
12:45play a different position and literally on that
12:47block. Why was able to get it. He
12:48understands his reach keeps his body away. And
12:51then the reach comes up with the block. So
12:56Cam Spencer into the game as he will face off
12:59against Pat Spencer. Brothers both of them
13:02entered the NBA on two way contracts. The
13:04journey to the NBA and the full NBA
13:06contract a little bit longer for Pat as he
13:09was in the G League for several years. Cam of
13:12course split last year between the hustle and
13:15the Grizzlies and now a full NBA contract and
13:18boy is he delivered out of the corner. Hendricks
13:21knocks down the three Taylor Hendricks 34% from
13:24beyond the arc six points against Portland on
13:27Saturday night and he triples the Grizzlies up
13:29seven. The Warriors try to go to his own there. It's
13:32nice that the Grizzlies have shooters on the
13:34floor to be able to come to combat it. Moody
13:38unsure of where to go. Steal by Hendricks. Gets
13:43it to Jerome. Cam Spencer says I'm all by
13:44myself. I want to shoot it. Puts it on the
13:48deck. Great feed. Hendricks lays it up and
13:50in and a foul. Pretty play Cam Spencer. And
13:54Brevin you talked about it in Grizzlies
13:56Live. He's he has really grown as a
13:58distributor has Cam Spencer. The thing is is
14:00the court presence to know where your
14:03teammates are. So the drive happens. He sees
14:05the second defender. But the vision to see
14:08Hendricks cutting. Moody that last foul
14:11timeout taken by the Warriors. Grizzlies
14:13fine. Grizzlies off to a good start here 16
14:15seven the count here early first quarter. Our
14:17FedEx fan of the game. Introduce you to a
14:22San Jose native once I get the box
14:24turned in the right direction. That is
14:26Hashim. And he is a big Grizzlies fan a
14:30John Morant fan in particular when I said
14:32you're a big fan. So I'm the biggest fan. Yeah
14:35well you got some more gear. And he was
14:38genuinely thrilled to be the recipient of
14:43our FedEx fan of the game. Well done
14:44Hashim. Making the trip over from San
14:48Jose. Scottie Pippen Jr. into the game
14:51for the first time tonight. And you get a
14:53chance you get a look at the Golden
14:55State jerseys. The town and that's a
14:58tree logo. And that is to honor the 40
15:01plus years that the Golden State
15:03Warriors played their games in Oakland.
15:07So that's their city edition uniform this
15:09year. And a three point play completed by
15:12Taylor Hendricks. I know we're in this
15:14in these new days new time and with this
15:17beautiful arena. But I can tell you I
15:19miss the games being at Oracle. It was
15:22just a different vibe of the building the
15:26way the fans were. It was I hate that it's
15:30not there anymore. Moody with a three
15:33point miss. Pippen in. And that's a miss by
15:39Hendricks and out of bounds. And the
15:43Grizzlies ball says C.J. Washington. So the
15:45Grizzlies with Wells Anderson Hendricks
15:46Spencer and Pippen on the floor. Al
15:50Horford and Brandon Pajemski into the
15:53game for Golden State here with 654
15:55remaining in the first. Grizzlies have
16:01not had issues with offense here in the
16:03month of February. They're averaging
16:04124 points per game. That three ball
16:08off. Andrew Hendricks not shy. The issue
16:12for the Grizzlies though in these four
16:14February games it's been defense giving
16:16up almost 130 points. Draymond Green's
16:19three. Big part of that we talk about
16:23this has been fourth quarter score for
16:27opponents and then the lack there of
16:29scoring for the Grizzlies has really
16:31done them in. Grizzlies had a good
16:34lead heading to the fourth quarter and
16:35Hendricks is fouled on the pass off.
16:44Richard picking up the second foul and
16:46stage over the limit. You got to live
16:49with Draymond Green being a three
16:52point shooter here. There's been
16:54enough games we see him make some
16:55early. We've got to see can he be
16:58consistent at making them throughout
16:59the game. Let's go down serious to
17:01Rob Fisher. Well just introducing
17:02some people to Taylor Hendricks the
17:04Jazz took the Fort Lauderdale native
17:06with the number nine overall pick in
17:07the 2023 draft out of UCF. He missed
17:10most of last season with a leg injury
17:11playing in just three games. His rookie
17:13season he averaged over seven points
17:15per game. Six foot nine two hundred
17:17fifteen pound forward is averaging
17:18five and a half points and three
17:19rebounds per game this season. Miss
17:22two free throws there. Spencer through
17:24the lane and the foul for Pat
17:26Spencer. Spencer coming off a 14.7
17:31assist game against the Lakers on
17:33Saturday night. Fouls on Kyle
17:35Anderson. Again it's one of those
17:37situations where we talk about same
17:39size guys that communicate and talk to
17:41one another so that Scottie Pippen
17:43Jr. Steps up and let Jalen Wells
17:45step down to the same size player in
17:48Pajemski instead of allowing Spencer
17:51to turn the corner. Contavious
17:52Caldwell Pope checks into the game
17:54for the Grizzlies. Spencer 83 percent
17:56from the free throw line. His two way
17:58deal was converted just a couple of
17:59days ago. I like with Cam is
18:04because tied to Rome and Scottie
18:05Pippen Jr. are back. We get to see
18:08him play off the ball more than on
18:10the ball. And the brothers come
18:13together and Pat nearly got the
18:14steal. Pippen three to shoot into
18:21the lane. Finds Hendricks. He lays
18:23it up and misses the chippy and the
18:24rebound tapped around and the Jenski
18:26has it. Hendricks the leading shot
18:29taker for the Grizzlies. He's two for
18:31five and now Contavious Caldwell
18:33Pope. Beg your pardon it's Hendricks
18:36with the foul. Grizzlies also bring
18:44on Jemai Mayshak. So an all bench
18:46unit for the Grizzlies. Which
18:48reminds me of the fact that both of
18:49these teams are the top two scoring
18:53benches in the NBA. Mayshak coming
18:56off a dominant defensive game last
19:00game with those six deals. Grizzlies
19:02get hung up on a switch. Offensive
19:05rebound by Draymond Green. Pijenski
19:07Golden State can't pay it off. They're
19:09just two of nine from three. Pull a
19:13pass underneath and a great find and
19:16Hendricks is getting work done
19:17early. Jemai Mayshak I beg your
19:20pardon. Ran the floor extremely well
19:23and just did a good job of finding
19:24the open area and sitting down. Spencer
19:31working against Pippen. Pijenski
19:35drives and Mayshak was trying to take
19:38it away but hearing the whistle. Mayshak
19:43with six steals. There's a great
19:47delivery to Mayshak underneath.
19:48Contavious Caldwell Pope who has been a
19:51good playmaker for the Grizzlies off the
19:52bench this year. Pijenski shoots two. He's
19:57averaging 12 points a game. That's a
19:59new career high. Partner because on the
20:03offensive end it's such equal
20:04opportunity that everyone looks for
20:06the next person. And if you have you
20:08can get someone a great shot. They're
20:10able to they're willing to get great
20:13shots for their teammates not just to
20:15get a shot on the offensive end. For
20:18Golden State Gary Payton the second
20:19end of the game for the first time
20:21tonight. Golden State in case you're
20:25wondering and I know you are. When
20:27Curry plays they're 23 and 16. And a
20:30missed free throw and Hendrick with a
20:32rebound. They are five and nine when
20:34he does not play and they average
20:36almost 18 fewer points per game. Spencer
20:38walk up three. Rebound Will Richard.
20:46Everyone knows how much of a influence
20:49Steph Curry is. It's not just what he
20:52does. It's what he does. The others is
20:54Santos able to get around. And right
20:57now the Warriors beating the Grizzlies
20:59off of the dribble. Getting into the
21:01paint for easy shots. Now Golden State
21:03adjusting to the fact that these two of
21:05nine from three. Pippen on a baseline
21:10move. Comes topside. Tries to free
21:12Spencer for a three. Cam drives. Dishes to
21:14Scottie off glass for two. Good to have
21:20a lot of guards isn't it. Healthy. It's
21:23very nice. This prison scene. Magdaro
21:26for so much of the season. Gi Santos
21:31finds Payton and his floater is short.
21:34Rebound raked in by Hendricks. For the
21:36Grizzlies it's been like whack-a-mole.
21:39Sometimes you got pigs and you don't have
21:40smalls and sometimes it's 180 degrees
21:42the other way. Pippen going to the
21:44reverse. Scottie pushing the lead back
21:46to eight for Memphis 23-15. Scottie's
21:49still doing a great job of even when
21:50two defenders are there able to split
21:53defenders to get shots. Horford on the
21:55delivery. Santos sits up and in and they'll
21:58count it. Santos over the last six is
22:02averaging 15 a game and he's on a
22:05career-long streak of double-digit games
22:07in the process. Scottie you see the
22:10two defenders they would have stepped
22:12through and get the finish. Nice
22:14little give and go here by Santos
22:16able to cut in front of Scottie
22:18Pippen Junior to allow this three
22:21point play opportunity. So Pippen
22:23his first foul. Santos converts the
22:27three point play. Rizzi's lead is
22:30five. Rizzi's were here back in late
22:37October. Took a lost 131-118. Hendricks
22:45will try a three. It's through and
22:47Hendricks a 34 percenter from beyond
22:51the arc. And how about this he's come
22:54off the bench with nine tonight.
22:57Average of five and a half in his first
22:59two games with the Grizzlies. Santos
23:01over the top. Horford in traffic
23:03Pippen blocked it. And another and
23:06one opportunity for Golden State. The
23:08Grizzlies not clearing the glass and
23:10Horford the hoop and the harm. You
23:13talk about lack of size. This is
23:15lack of size all the way across the
23:18board for the Grizzlies. Probably got
23:20away with a foul early on in that
23:21possession and then Al Horford just
23:24able to stay with it. Looking like
23:25clinging on the inside with such a
23:27size discrepancy. Horford a big part
23:30of the reason why Golden State has
23:32according to sport radar the oldest
23:35roster in the league. Stephen Curry
23:40looks on and Horford converts to
23:42three point play. So even though
23:43Golden State only two of nine from
23:44three point territory. A couple of
23:47three point plays and they're down
23:49five. Cedric Coward back in the game.
23:52Cam Spencer is out. Pippen works
23:55against Payton. A good matchup
23:59between their dads. Hendricks a
24:01three. Rebound Al Horford. Hendricks
24:05kind of playing the Ole Max roll on
24:08here. Payton hurried that one. Never
24:12really had control of the basketball. And
24:14Mayshack has it for Memphis. Drives down
24:16the lane. And surprise Hendricks with
24:19the pass. Forth Grizzlies turnover.
24:23Pajemski. Knocks down to three. And the
24:26Grizzlies will call timeouts. Grizzlies
24:29already four turnovers leading to five
24:31Golden State points. And Pajemski
24:36knocks down the shot to make it a 26
24:3824 game. Grizzlies have led it by as
24:41many as ten but the lead is down to
24:43two. Warriors bench with seven points. Four
24:46from Pajemski. 26 o'clock tip. Grizzlies
24:50will be hosting the Utah Jazz presented
24:52by Big River Steel. Get there and stay
24:54for the post game gospel night
24:56performance by Grammy award winning
24:57artist Erica Campbell. To get your
24:59tickets go to grizzlies.com slash
25:01tickets. Jaron Jackson Jr. will be
25:04there. John Conchar will be there as
25:07well. Vince Williams Jr. And elsewhere
25:12tonight. Let's see. Jaron Jackson Jr.'s
25:15Utah team with a win tonight over
25:18Miami. 115 to 111. And Jaron Jackson
25:21Jr. 22 points in that game.
25:24You think about what a front line for
25:29them could be. You talk about Jaron
25:31Markkinen and Kessler. Right. Across
25:35their front line. Wow. And Nurkic is
25:38playing pretty well. Javon Swalt in for
25:40the first time tonight. Javon fails out
25:44of a three. Gigi Jackson's back in. Picked
25:47up two early fouls. Up under multiple
25:49times. Shot clock down to four. Mayshack
25:52through the crowd. Banks it up and in.
25:55Jami Mayshack. That's a drive there.
25:59Finish using the rim to shield the
26:02defender. Moody back in the game. Santos on
26:07the feed to Al Horford. Horford doing
26:10good job holding them up. Got a back
26:12door cut and a finish by Gary Payton
26:15the second GP to his first bucket of
26:17the game. Caldwell Polk drives a Gigi
26:25Jackson three. Honeycombing in and out
26:27and a rebound to Guy Santos. Golden
26:30State a tire of the lead with a long
26:31one. Santos driving. Pajemski floater
26:42off last. And retired at 28. Golden
26:49State up to 48 percent shooting. Rizzi's
26:5158 percent shooting. Rizzi's 58
26:52percent shooting. But we are tied.
26:57We're seeing the movement by the
26:58Warriors on the offensive end that
27:00yields them shots consistently. And
27:03that's knocked out of bounds. Grizzlies
27:05keep it just seven on the twenty
27:06four. And Tomas Isolo telling me
27:08before the game the Grizzlies want
27:10to play with great pace because
27:11half court offense with so many
27:13moving parts is really hard to get
27:16right. It's hard for you to do
27:18execution with guys that you don't
27:20know exactly where they're going
27:21to be. You think it's going to be
27:22one place. They go to another time
27:25in here is Kenny will get two free
27:27throws. And so you want to limit the
27:29execution plays that you have to
27:32have over just having natural
27:34basketball plays. Contavious
27:36Caldwell Pope will go to the free
27:37throw line on a Gary Payton foul.
27:39Golden State. We talked about it
27:41they've lost their last three at
27:43home. It's the longest home losing
27:44streak of the season. They haven't
27:47won a home game since Jimmy Butler
27:49tore his ACL and even more to the
27:51point in their last six. They're
27:53just two and four. And they've
27:55been held to fewer than 100 points
27:57in three of those six. And you
27:59never think of offense as being
28:01an issue with Golden State. Nobody
28:04just talked already about the
28:06effect number one they brought
28:07Jimmy Butler here because they
28:08needed someone else to be able
28:10to be an offensive weapon alongside
28:12Steph Curry. So if you lose who
28:15was supposed to be your secondary
28:17option that got you to the free
28:19throw line that got your team
28:20into the into the penalty and you
28:21lose your number one option then
28:23your offense is definitely going to
28:25take a hit. Horford good ball
28:29movement and a finish for out
28:30Horford. That's what Golden State
28:32does. I mean perennially one of the
28:34best distributor teams in the NBA
28:37Caldwell Pope finds small in the
28:40corner. Gigi Jackson works against
28:44Pajemski. So cutting Mayshack again.
28:48Jemine knows where the front of the
28:51rim is for sure and that's the
28:52second time he's gone on a basket
28:54cut and finished at the rim. Cuts to
28:57the bats at the other night it was
28:58his defense tonight is timely cuts by
29:01Mason and another 30 point first
29:03quarter for the Grizzlies. Pajemski
29:05banks it in at the horn to tie the
29:08game at 32. He's had a 10 point lead
29:15it has evaporated into a 32 32 tie
29:20Grizzlies now posted 30 plus points
29:23in the first quarter in 13 of the
29:25last 19 games since January the
29:28first. Ty Jerome at seven Taylor
29:31Hendricks at nine and Jemine Mason
29:33FedEx the new power move and by
29:37Pinnacle Financial Partners Grizzlies
29:39banking from Pinnacle play hard bank
29:42easy. In the first quarter two of
29:45the highest scoring benches in the
29:46league took center stage 32 32 is the
29:49score Grizzlies 21 bench points in
29:51the first quarter Golden State with
29:5315 of their 32 coming from their
29:55reserves.
29:58Grizzlies have a first to start the
30:00second.
30:01Good thing for the Grizzlies in that
30:03first quarter they moved the ball
30:05extremely well ten assists on their
30:07twelve made baskets.
30:09Caldwell Pope drives contact and it
30:12would have counted had it gone down
30:14it did not and Will Richard has
30:15picked up his third foul.
30:16They've also had a lot of success
30:18in the paint eight of nine for the
30:20Grizzlies for 16 points in that
30:22first quarter.
30:23Understanding that Golden State
30:24does not have shot blocking
30:25tonight.
30:26And there's no so there's no need
30:27for you to settle.
30:28We're talking about having to keep
30:29the threes at least close not
30:32letting the Warriors have such a
30:34big gap.
30:35And a lot of it is those drives to
30:37the basket putting the ball on the
30:38floor is what creates them.
30:40Well when you put the ball on the
30:41floor and get to the basket there
30:42is nobody there.
30:43Do you have to create a three.
30:44You create great shot
30:45opportunities for yourself.
30:46Downstairs to Rob Fisher.
30:52Speaking of those drives guys
30:55coach Tomas Isolo during that
30:56timeout was talking about angles.
30:57He said we've got to cut down too
30:59many straight line drives that
31:00have given up a lot of them that
31:01ended up in and ones as well.
31:02Seven free throw attempts for the
31:03Warriors in that first quarter.
31:05Good news is Grizzlies also went
31:06to the line seven times as well.
31:08Both teams knocked down five.
31:11Both teams shooting the ball well.
31:13Grizzlies sixty percent from the
31:14floor.
31:15Moody Green Melton Spencer will
31:17Richard the five on the floor for
31:19Steve Kirk.
31:24Draymond Green.
31:25He is attempting more threes this
31:28year than he has in any other year
31:30in his career and he's in a couple
31:32tonight.
31:33And Golden State has the lead back
31:34from ten down.
31:35More shot opportunities with the
31:37injuries and the way the team is
31:39composed a small steps into the
31:42three can't finish.
31:43And the loose ball picked up by
31:45D'Anthony Melton.
31:46Grizzlies three of eleven from
31:47three.
31:48Golden State four of the eleven.
31:50In the prior meeting in late
31:52October Golden State made 19
31:54threes.
31:55An advantage of seven over the
31:57Grizzlies and a big reason why
31:58they were able to get the win
31:59that night.
32:00Melton there's the straight line
32:01drive that Rock Fisher was just
32:03talking about the Grizzlies
32:04haven't improved on what Tomas
32:06Isolo wanted them to pick up on.
32:09Javon small.
32:10Oh.
32:11Oh.
32:12Nothing small there.
32:14I think they put that one down
32:16also.
32:17I thought.
32:18As his defender tried to contest
32:19late.
32:20Yeah.
32:21Told you boy something when he
32:22when he gets to the basket
32:23nothing small about his finishes.
32:26Six one with big hops.
32:28Melton lost the ball.
32:29Jack may Shaq diving to the floor
32:31and a look ahead Grizzlies trying
32:33to do something in transition
32:34small contact and no air in the
32:37whistle.
32:39That Spencer got away with one.
32:42Draymond green little bit of
32:44bully ball and then his pad
32:46passes up the fingertips of
32:47D'Anthony Melton.
32:50Here Javon small you see him get
32:51up here.
32:52Yes he does put that down.
32:54See Melton with the late contest.
32:57Small says you're too late.
33:00With the finish.
33:02Javon small a career high 22
33:04Saturday in Portland.
33:06Seven of ten from the floor.
33:10Howard and Gigi Jackson to the
33:12bench Kyle Anderson waits at the
33:14scorers table.
33:17Ty Jerome back in.
33:21Caldwell Pope the fade away.
33:23Yes.
33:24Contavious Caldwell Pope his first
33:26shot from the floor goes down to
33:28accompany his for free throws and
33:30then a foul against D'Anthony
33:32Melton.
33:34I'll say he's been extremely
33:35comfortable with the mid range
33:36jump shot and also creating that
33:39shot.
33:40You see here he would off the
33:41dribble escape the defender to
33:44clear himself for that free
33:46throw line J.
33:47Kenny averaging eight a game
33:49three point shot has not been up
33:50to his usual standard just 32
33:52percent on the season and it's
33:54still good mid range shooter and he
33:57has really benefited the Grizzlies
33:58as a veteran leader and as a good
34:01distributor of the basketball as
34:02well Grizzlies one of the top
34:04assist teams in the NBA Melton a
34:06step back three air ball but it's
34:09saved on the baseline no reset of
34:11the shot clock corner three by
34:13Richard is down another second
34:15chance opportunity for Golden State
34:17and that's being done with hustle
34:20not hike the same way we talked
34:22about the Grizz is being able to
34:23create second chance points on
34:25offensive rebounds the Warriors up
34:28to the task so far called well
34:31Pope elbow jumper that one long
34:33and it's boarded by Richard Richard
34:36out of Florida 56 overall pick
34:40Kyle Anderson now into the game
34:46Cam Spencer waits at the scorers
34:48table Pat Spencer drives over
34:50small and banks it in Golden State
34:53its largest lead of the night at
34:54forty two to thirty eight and see
34:57Pat Spencer going to basket
34:58finishing with the left hand on
35:00that move Ty Jerome another
35:03awkward off balance I'm not sure
35:05it's off the right leg shot but it
35:06goes down and that's all that
35:07matters again is the holes that
35:10this time he held it to then
35:12again fade away to get the shot
35:14off dream on green back cut by
35:17Spencer the pass was intended for
35:19Melter for Richard rather and in
35:22small bottling the dribble
35:28Oh he had the size advantage
35:31one of the post of that
35:33everything he wanted there except
35:35for the chippy to go down
35:36Hendricks with nine early now
35:41Melton fade away rebound tied
35:44Jerome for gone by second quarter
35:50Jerome deep for three it's through
35:53tied Jerome can expect a lot of
35:58guard play basketball here tonight
36:00don't be worried don't be looking
36:01for post ups of the bigs inside
36:03this is going to be shoot them out
36:06get to the basket finish mid-range
36:09different type basketball here
36:10tonight what are these post ups you
36:11speak of Rizzi's have the lead on
36:15Ty Jerome second three of the game
36:20well the road to WrestleMania is
36:21going to run through Memphis as
36:23WWE Raw comes to FedEx warm on
36:25Monday February the 16th secure
36:27your seat to superstars like Ray
36:29Ripley Kofi Kingston Dominic
36:31Mysterio and more tickets on sale now
36:33at Ticketmaster.com or the FedEx
36:35forum box office Dominic
36:38Mysterio that Ray Mysterio son
36:40mm-hmm
36:41oh it's gonna be fantastic getting
36:48ready for the Wrestlemania and
36:50the storylines the rivalries the
36:53feuds all being heated up the
36:57partner talk about this time with the
37:00way that tied Jerome has been able to
37:02score and say you know what you're not
37:05capable of doing so what you do you
37:07stay away from those things and what he
37:10is capable of doing is creating
37:12different angles on shots with
37:14variety and that variety gets him open
37:17time and time again and then the
37:19ability to knock down these shots is
37:21high well behind the back Kyle
37:23Anderson for two and what a set up by
37:25Ty Jerome his third feed of the night
37:28and the Grizzlies lead it by three
37:29but Jemsky back in the game missed
37:31that three-pointer earlier Gary
37:33Payton the second has it knocked out
37:35of his hands and Scott Foster says
37:38Grizzlies ball or did he point the
37:40wrong way Ty Jerome was involved in
37:41it Steve Kerr doesn't like to call
37:44JB DeRosa is gonna conference and
37:46it will be Golden State ball I think
37:47is when you make a move always keep
37:49your head up the reason why he's
37:51able to see Kyle Anderson is because
37:53his head is up as he is making the
37:55move still being able to survey the
37:58floor and find Kyle Anderson shot
38:01clock at 15 Cam Spencer in the
38:05Jemsky good cover-up by Wells now
38:09Horford back in the game Santos
38:12driving skip pass Horford says look
38:15you take it D'Anthony mounted
38:17backhanded layup won't go and Scott
38:20Foster gets a foul on Hendricks so
38:24two free throws coming D'Anthony
38:28Melton will go to the line dry to
38:34the basket that very easily could
38:38have called Kyle he was almost as
38:40if Kyle was trying to take the
38:41foul and Melton will go to the
38:43line Grevin I can say unequivocally
38:47we enjoyed our time having D'Anthony
38:49Melton with the Grizzlies just to
38:51do something you know we enjoyed
38:53having him the the energy that he
38:55he would bring off of the bench
38:57combine that with the defensive
38:59intensity this Grizzly team he
39:02was there was known for their
39:03deflections force and turnovers he
39:05was at the head of the force
39:07turnover category with how well he
39:09defended and all that did was it
39:11led to transition opportunities
39:13is what got the building involved
39:15but also gave this Grizzly team
39:17the much-needed boost that they
39:19would need when he would come on to
39:20the floor Hendricks got bumped yes
39:25and the foul and again Ty Jerome what
39:28he is able to do not only scoring
39:30his own but the distribution really
39:33gives the Grizzlies a dimension
39:34that for large portions of the
39:36season they've been lacking and I'm
39:38just another thing I'm gonna give
39:40all of these guys credit I'm gonna
39:41get his coaching staff credit
39:42because these plays that we're
39:44watching here we talked about just
39:45making some natural basketball
39:46plays these cuts to the basket
39:48aren't plays that are being run
39:50it's just the IQ of what I've
39:52seen my my guys making a move my
39:55defender reacting now where do I go
39:57and what the Grizzlies have done a
39:58good job of and not really knowing
40:00one another our screen said there by
40:02Santos and not really knowing one
40:04another they just taking basketball
40:06and played it extremely well
40:08together
40:09Warford leaning in
40:13back in against Kyle Anderson
40:15well Tomas Isolo I asked him
40:17before the game I said when the
40:19roster is always changing when
40:21you're not sure who you're going
40:22to have and right now here's a tie
40:24Jerome three that's off the back
40:26iron rebound calls to Santos
40:29how do you how do you deal with
40:32this you said basically we try to
40:33keep it simple we don't try to
40:34overload guys and what that means
40:36is when they come in they don't
40:37have not gonna go through seven
40:39eight nine different plays to go
40:41through some concepts of what
40:42they would like to do and then
40:44play within the concepts is the
40:45Grizzlies force another turnover
40:47Jerome Spencer off the bounce
40:50contact good if it goes it does
40:52not well Scott Faustis is no shot
40:54hmm Gary Payton the second with his
40:58second with his second foul and
41:05Cam Spencer walk through the
41:08free throw line and Fox says no
41:10you don't you're not shooting son
41:11third foul on the Warriors here
41:16in the quarter which is halfway
41:17through this is a two point lead
41:19lead by as many as 10 in the
41:20first quarter Jerome I would imagine
41:27is probably going to be around
41:29that 20 minute limit as he comes
41:31back from the cap strain shot clock
41:33down to six full step fade away for
41:36two oh wow I didn't and then they
41:39gave the too small gesture as he
41:41ran down the floor and again is
41:43just getting to the angle that he
41:46wants to get and then the little
41:47fade on the whole step is what has
41:50gotten him open Horford misses the
41:52three Hendricks the rebound tie
41:56averaging 20 a game in his first
41:58four outings this season he's got 14
42:01already in nine minutes Kyle
42:04Anderson works against Horford a
42:06little shake and bake turn around
42:07Jay is in Kyle Anderson a couple
42:10of those ago against Portland the
42:12same with that Portland game you get
42:14to Monte Camara a lot of credit with
42:16the pressure that he put on tied
42:19Jerome to not make his not an easy
42:21one Payton checks his feet six
42:29triple for Golden State tonight and
42:32the Grizzlies not a good pass Kyle
42:36Anderson a rare miscue by him and
42:39the Grizzlies turn it over for the
42:41fifth time tonight moments after
42:43Ty Jerome putting on a circus shot
42:46clinic and the other thing you see
42:48that the too small I don't mind the
42:50fact that Ty Jerome plays with an
42:51edge you always like to have guys
42:54on your team that play with that
42:56edge you don't you don't need a
42:57team of of all nice guys you like
42:59you you need guys who are going to
43:01have the edge doesn't take
43:03anything away from their game it
43:05doesn't take away from his
43:06Grizzlies team at all I think if
43:08anything it it pumps them up the
43:10Jim ski Pat Spencer in
43:14that Spencer his second assist of
43:23the game Santos was seven Cam
43:26Cam driving scooping but not scoring
43:29and the rebound to Horford
43:35Horford a three around it out Gary
43:39Payton the offensive rebound
43:43Golden State looking for the lead
43:44here should you just six of seventeen
43:46from three but they've done well in
43:48the paint as Santos attacks again
43:50Cam Spencer boards have numbers with
43:53Santos down on the floor in the back
43:56court an open wells three boarded by
44:00Payton Jesus four of fourteen now from
44:04three minus two in the three point
44:07make category
44:10four for it against Kyle Anderson Pat
44:14Spencer for three
44:17Payton offensive rebound quick shot the
44:19layup attempt a look ahead wells
44:22against Pat Spencer he underlays but
44:24gets it back and puts it in this is
44:28racking up and down basketball here good
44:31good job by Jalen Wells though to just
44:33stay with it
44:34good stick with it-ness to be able to
44:37come up with the basket
44:38lead is three
44:40lead here by Kyle Anderson on the feed
44:43Scottie Pippen junior in Pat Spencer
44:45drives banks and an and one
44:47opportunity
44:49they do a great job we talk about how
45:02well the Grizzlies have moved on with
45:04their timely cuts saying for the
45:06Warriors well the Warriors also lead
45:08the league in secondary assists
45:10free games in this month because
45:13Friday February the 20th we've got the
45:15Jazz coming in it's gospel like
45:16teaching a postgame concert by Erica
45:18then on February the 23rd the Grizzlies
45:20take on the Sacramento Kings it's
45:21Lunar New Year night and then
45:24Golden State they make their only
45:26trip to FedEx Rome on February the
45:2725th when the first 5,000 fans get a
45:30City Edition team poster get your
45:31tickets at grizzlies.com slash
45:33tickets that'll be your one and only
45:35chance to see Golden State this
45:37season that is later this month
45:40Golden State this is the first of
45:42four straight on the home floor
45:44bridging the all-star break
45:47rosies have one more on the road
45:50before they break the all-star and
45:52Spencer can't convert the three-point
45:54play
45:56somewhat to the trailblazers game
46:02both teams have injuries but that
46:04hasn't dimmed the competitive spirit
46:07that we have seen from both of these
46:09teams here in this first half
46:11Gigi Jackson cowards for three
46:16rebound to Pat Spencer Gigi Jackson
46:18hasn't got much going because he
46:19picked up two really fouls and has
46:21not been in the flow Wells-Jackson
46:23Coward pivot and Mayshaft for the
46:25Grizzlies Moody Green Spencer
46:26Pajemski and Gary Payton for Golden
46:30State Spencer follows his own
46:36right now the Warriors quicker to the
46:39basketball than the Grizzlies but all
46:41of the movement is not allowing the
46:43Grizzlies to stand and be in good
46:46position to rebound Pippen for three
46:49bang-up and he triples the Grizzlies
46:51back in front 57 to 55
46:54under two remaining here in the first
46:56half
46:57good job there while Scottie jumping
46:59the passing lane
47:00Grizzlies three on two Pippen a
47:01little show and go to the rim for two
47:02off glass
47:04how quickly he did that part he went
47:06from defending the ball to jumping
47:08to the passing lane to force the
47:10turnover and then gets the layup on
47:12the other end
47:13Mayshaft credited with his second steal
47:15he had a career-high six Saturday
47:17night in Portland
47:21Payton
47:22that three ball is off
47:24Mayshaft with a rebound
47:26I like to my Mayshaft and his
47:28hustle and his hard-nosed style of
47:30play
47:34he'll try for three
47:36Gigi Jackson offensive rebound
47:40shot opportunity
47:42Mayshaft off the bounce spinning
47:44to the cup put it in
47:45Jemai Mayshaft
47:47Jemai Mayshaft
47:48Jemai Mayshaft
47:49doing it all here
47:50the hustle plays
47:51on the defensive end
47:53and then offensively
47:54he is just taking advantage
47:56of the smaller Warriors team
47:58by continuing to get to the front
48:00of the rim
48:01that's back-to-back career-high
48:03eight-point games for Jemai Mayshaft
48:04late switch there no hand up
48:07you know just a hand down man down
48:09Scott he makes that one there
48:10and then off with a turnover
48:12the little ball fake allows him
48:14a quick little five-point burst for himself
48:17both teams with a foul to give final minute of the first half
48:20Pajemski beating Draymond Green
48:23Santos back on here with a three
48:28Gigi the rebound
48:30Coward
48:32Coward is slow to get up
48:33Pippen drives on Santos
48:35Mayshaft
48:36Mayshaft
48:37Mayshaft with a follow
48:38a career-high ten all here
48:40in the first half for Jemai Mayshaft
48:42Pajemski for three
48:45Cedric Coward's partner
48:46came down on a foot
48:48because that's because I think
48:49this is
48:50it might be like his right ankle
48:52tries to run it off
48:55shot clock
48:58and game clock
48:59four seconds the difference
49:01Grizzlies with an eight-point lead
49:03Pippen against Pajemski
49:05Pippen to the dotted line
49:07Wells to beat the shot clock
49:10and he was fouled on the jump shot
49:15Guy Santos the foul
49:17and that will put Wells at the line for two
49:19with two point nine remaining
49:21and Revan so often we talk about closing quarters
49:23this appears to be an opportunity for the Grizzlies to close well
49:28and they've done a good job of only giving up one shot
49:32on the defensive end
49:34and on the offensive side no settling
49:37and their offense continue to be an attack
49:40and the ball has moved extremely well
49:42for them here the entire first half
49:45Wells will get one more here
49:47Pat Spencer out Al Horford
49:49he's back in for Golden State
49:52so Kyle's gonna go to
49:54he's going right to the locker room
49:56he's jogging but he's going to the locker room
49:58the other thing that you like about the last possession
50:00is too many times the Grizzlies
50:01we shoot the ball early
50:03didn't shoot it early so less time here
50:05for the Warriors
50:07Draymond Green going long
50:08and a foul called by Scott Foster on Javon Small
50:13Grizzlies had one to give
50:16they're going to double check that it's not an away from the play foul
50:19but it certainly seemed that the ball was in mid-air when
50:22the contact occurred
50:26the other one's going to give
50:28the foul
50:29foul
50:30now
50:31number 10
50:32Javon Small
50:33first personal report
50:34oh
50:35clear
50:36power
50:37yeah Scott Foster is going to double check
50:40so Brevin you want to know who's this caucus tonight
50:42yeah who's having Neapolitan pizza tonight
50:44whoo good call
50:45Danielle Scott Carl Lane and Trey Maddox
50:47Scott, Carl Lane, and Trey Maddox.
50:49So the question, the illegal contact, to me, clearly it occurs.
50:55But the thing, partner, is that they're checking to see if this is a clear path foul.
50:59Oh, okay.
51:03You know, they would have an argument with that.
51:05There's no defender, no other defender between Moody and the basket.
51:17The thing is, he doesn't really grab him to not allow him to get to the basketball.
51:25Right.
51:25So there's the contact right there.
51:31I don't know.
51:32I don't know.
51:32Unless you're going to call the contact super late.
51:34But if you call the initial foul, the ball's in the air, there's no possession.
51:40We shall see.
51:43It's an interesting one.
51:45And whatever, whichever way it goes, it will be interesting to hear the explanation of the call.
51:56Okay, Javon Smalls, I play basketball.
51:58I'm not a cornerback.
52:00That was a safety move there.
52:01I'm really trying to defend, you know, safety.
52:03They don't have to like to play a little one-on-one coverage.
52:06Yeah.
52:06Scott Foster still in caucus with Secaucus.
52:17So a lot of defense in the Super Bowl.
52:19Yes.
52:20Yes, you did.
52:21Congratulations to the Seattle Seahawks.
52:25That defense was superb the entire year.
52:28And why not go out that way?
52:30The whole thing about Clear Path is so difficult sometimes to unwind.
52:35And if there's anybody that knows it, it's Scott Foster.
52:38You talk to anybody in the NBA officiating community, and they will tell you that Scott Foster
52:42is the best one with knowledge of the room and foul.
52:47There you go, Scott.
52:51Common foul.
52:52There we go.
52:53See, Scott's not big on explanation.
52:54Well, he lets you know.
52:57Common foul.
52:57What do I need to explain with that?
53:00It's not a clear path foul.
53:03And it's not a take foul.
53:04Right.
53:05So it was just a foul.
53:06But now the Grizzlies want to do a good job here of not allowing the Warriors with all
53:11of their movement to get a wide open look.
53:15Because now the Grizzlies don't have a foul to give.
53:18Moody on the move, and he is fouled on a three-point shot by Kyle Anderson.
53:22That was a good call, too.
53:23But Kyle knew he did it.
53:25Yep.
53:25One thing that you didn't want to do in that situation, you want to contest and keep going,
53:30but it goes into the arm of Moses Moody.
53:34This is an easy call for the official.
53:37You see it right there.
53:40Kyle knew it immediately.
53:42Moody, a 76-percenter from the free-throw line.
53:46And Moody, what do we say?
53:49You hope that a few main free-throws don't unlock him.
53:52He's coming off a 25-point game Saturday at the Lakers.
53:57He is scoreless here tonight.
54:01Until that made free-throw.
54:05He's gotten looks.
54:06Hasn't been opened up to the Grizzlies.
54:09Defensively, they've had a couple of breakdowns, but for the most part, they haven't allowed.
54:12So, Moody makes two of three, nine-tenths of a second.
54:17Not much you can do with this, particularly from backcourt.
54:21Pippen lets it go.
54:22And it clangs off the shot clock, and the first half comes to a close.
54:29Grizzlies on a 22-14 close to the second quarter after Golden State closed the first quarter on a 14-6 run.
54:37So, the Grizzlies close better here at the end of quarter number two.
54:41They lead at 65-57, trying to end a seven-game losing streak here at Chase Center to the Golden State Warriors.
54:46We're back with halftime after this.
