00:00This is a presentation of Mavs TV.
00:10It's game on now.
00:15Crammed home with authority.
00:20Cooper flagged with the two hand flush.
00:23Mavericks basketball on Mavs TV is brought to you by Home Zone Furniture.
00:33And good evening.
00:34The holiday weekend road trip continues for Dallas in Los Angeles.
00:38They played against the Lakers last night and tonight at Intuit Dome.
00:41It's the Mavericks and the Clippers when they played earlier this month.
00:44P.J. Washington Jr. missed that game.
00:46So it'll be good to have P.J. on the floor tonight because Dallas needs some bigs
00:50to try to slow down even to Zubac who always plays well against the Mavericks.
00:56Hi there everyone.
00:57With Devin Harris, I'm Mark Folliwell.
00:58It's great to have you tuned in for Mavericks basketball tonight.
01:01Last night was a night where we saw a couple of things occur
01:04that are meaningful to the immediate and potentially distant future for the Mavericks as well.
01:09First of all, Anthony Davis returned from a month off due to a calf injury.
01:14It was great to see him back on the floor.
01:16Obviously, this is a work in progress reintegrating him into the lineup.
01:20What did you think of what we saw out of AD last night, Devin?
01:22Well, for the most part, he came back clean.
01:25Obviously, you know, got through it healthy, which was great.
01:27I thought he looked great.
01:29Defensively, he was active.
01:31We saw some of the lateral quickness and the shot blocking ability that he brings to the table.
01:35I thought that was a huge aspect.
01:36But offensively, you see how important he is to this team.
01:39The gravity that he has offensively.
01:41If he's allowed to play one on one, he can score.
01:43The defense recognized that.
01:45So, you see a lot of double teams opening things on the weak side.
01:47So, as they get back into the fold offensively and working into the rotation,
01:52hopefully, those fourth quarter woes will come to an end
01:55because another guy you could throw the ball to in the fourth quarter to get you a bucket.
01:58So, hopefully, we see him a lot more consistently.
02:00We can turn the page on some of these fourth quarter woes.
02:02Yeah, we'll see what kind of foundation last night was in terms of him moving forward.
02:06And also, something to be really intrigued about moving forward.
02:09Ryan Nembhardt, the rookie from Gonzaga, on a two-way contract, made his first NBA start last night.
02:16And, Devin, he absolutely impressed.
02:18He did. He's getting a huge opportunity to be able to learn and grow running an NBA team.
02:21We always tell young guys, stick to your strengths.
02:24And I thought he did a good job of that in his first start, running the team, had a good pace on the offense.
02:29But something he's going to have to deal with now is they're going to really play off of him and give him a lot of dare shots.
02:34He's got to understand when to take those and when to still pass the ball and create the offense.
02:39I thought he did a great job of both things last night.
02:41He's got to get another opportunity to go against a really good point guard, James Harden, tonight.
02:44That's 17 points. And you can't argue with it.
02:47Seven out of 11 from the floor last night.
02:49Knocked down three threes and four assists in 23 minutes.
02:53In his seventh NBA game and first NBA start.
02:56It was exciting to see.
02:57Tonight, it's the Dallas Mavericks and the Los Angeles Clippers.
03:00These two teams played just over two weeks ago in the Metroplex at American Airlines Center.
03:05And what a game it was and what a night it was by James Harden, who propelled the Clippers to victory.
03:10More on that performance right after this.
03:12Stay tuned.
03:14TV is brought to you by Choctaw Casinos and Resorts, where the players play.
03:20By Home Zone Furniture.
03:22Come see why we are different.
03:24And by Michelob Ultra, the superior light being.
03:31The bright lights of Los Angeles, California.
03:33We're in Inglewood tonight at Intuit Dome.
03:35It's the Mavericks and the Clippers here on Mavs TV.
03:37Second matchup in the month of November between these two teams.
03:41The Clippers won in double overtime 15 days ago.
03:44Devin on the strength of a superhuman James Harden performance.
03:47And he's been a walking bucket for most of his career.
03:50It looks a little bit different now than it did early in his career without him marching to the free throw line.
03:54But he put so much pressure on the defense with the pick and roll game with Zubats.
03:58He can score an ISO.
04:00He's a really good three-point shooter.
04:02He's got a nice floater game as well.
04:04And he just manipulates the defense so well to get consistent shots for his team.
04:09It's going to be a tall pass, especially with Kawhi playing tonight as well.
04:11And he was really big late in the game as we look at tonight's Paycom Player Insights.
04:16On November 14th, Harden recorded 41 points, 13 of 25.
04:20He connected on six threes, including some crucial threes late in the game,
04:25and added 14 boards and 11 assists.
04:27And it all adds up to his 17th career 40-point triple-double,
04:32trailing only Oscar Robertson for second most in NBA history.
04:36Tonight, it's the Mavericks and the Clippers.
04:39Dallas plays their second straight game here in Southern California
04:42and the third of four straight away.
04:44We're back with the lineups and the tip-off right after this on Mavs TV.
04:47Stay tuned.
04:49It's time this season.
04:51Great to have you tuned in for Mavs basketball here on Mavs TV.
04:54The home zone furniture starting lineups.
04:57And this is going to be changed.
05:00We have a developing situation.
05:02Ryan Nimhard, Max Christie, Dwight Powell, P.J. Washington, Cooper flag for the Mavericks.
05:06The change is with the Mavs.
05:07James Harden, Chris Dunn, even to Zubac, John Collins, Kawhi Leonard for the Clippers.
05:11All right, let's get more on what's going on here with Leslie McCaslin.
05:14Hi, Leslie.
05:15Hi, guys.
05:16It looks like Najee Marshall is going to start in place of P.J. Washington.
05:19Just a moment ago, right here under the basket.
05:21P.J. slipped on a loose ball.
05:23He got up.
05:24He grabbed his side.
05:25He went over to the bench.
05:26And then he ran into the back with the training staff just moments ago.
05:31So he's not back on the bench yet, but clearly Najee's going to get the start for him, guys.
05:35I'll try to update you.
05:36Yeah, thank you very much, Leslie.
05:37And there was an ankle turn we could see in that video as well.
05:40So that is extremely unfortunate on many levels.
05:45And the game starts.
05:46And, of course, we know that whether P.J. had played or not, there was going to be a lot of Zubac inside.
05:51And he scores to start the game and draws a foul as well.
05:54So no A.D. on the second night of a back-to-back after his return last night.
05:58Same for Daniel Gafford, other than, obviously, he's been back much longer than last night.
06:02And so the Mavs have size concerns already.
06:05And then, obviously, now this concern with P.J.
06:08Yeah, a team that was already depleted to start the game.
06:12And he loses a guy like P.J., who's playing so well.
06:16Hopefully, he can come out and give us some minutes.
06:19But we just don't know what that looks like.
06:21And, obviously, Zubac is taking advantage of the size or lack thereof to start the game.
06:27John Collins defending Cooper Flagg.
06:29Three-point play by Zubac to start tonight for the Clippers.
06:31And a basket in the paint on the pull-up for Coop.
06:34It's good to see him get off to a good start.
06:36We've seen him struggle in back-to-back games as a young player trying to figure it out.
06:41But getting your first bucket is always promising.
06:45His first-point assist to double-double last night with 13 points and 11 dimes.
06:49Here is Dwight Powell with the pass breakup.
06:52Harden tried to flick it to Zubac.
06:54And Powell deflects it and steals it.
06:5813 points, 11 assists, 7 rebounds last night.
07:01It's a no-travel back-to-back for Cooper Flagg and the Mavs.
07:05As Coop puts Dallas in front for the first time tonight.
07:12Here's Kawhi Leonard.
07:14He scored a lot, but not in a lot of minutes last night.
07:1728 minutes, 39 points.
07:19So, he is playing on the second night of a back-to-back for the first time since last April.
07:24And then you give him looks like that where he doesn't have to work as hard.
07:27You see that level of efficiency in a small amount of time.
07:31It gets in spots with the best of them.
07:33Well, early on, it's been the Cooper show on offense.
07:35He made his first two.
07:36Misses on a three-point try.
07:38And now Chris Dunn has it for the Clippers.
07:40They played here last night as well.
07:42And they coughed up a 16-point lead in the third quarter and fell to the Memphis Grizzlies, 112-107.
07:49John Collins is on the board now for Los Angeles.
07:53Here's Ryan Nembhard.
07:54First NBA start last night with a rookie undrafted free agent on a two-way contract.
08:00And it is a big, small matchup here with Zubats guarding Nembhard on the perimeter.
08:05And the Nembhard three-pointer is off target.
08:07And the Clippers head the other direction with a three-point lead.
08:10A bobbled ball by Kawhi.
08:13They're making a concerted effort to get the ball inside.
08:18As we see the goaltend, they understand the lack of size
08:21and the amount of success that Zubats has had against his team is not by accident.
08:26Zubats has played very well this year.
08:2916 points and 11.5 rebounds per game.
08:32But his shooting number has not been good the last two games.
08:35Losses to the Lakers and Grizzlies.
08:37He's only gone 9 of 23 from the floor in those two games.
08:40And that's way under what we know Zubats is capable of doing.
08:44Here's Powell dive-cutting to the basket following in the attack by Nembhard.
08:48And the ball is deflected out of bounds, leaving Dallas with seven to shoot.
08:53I just love the pace that Nembhard plays with.
08:56He could easily try to shoot that over the top
08:58but recognize that Dwight was open.
09:01Hit him with a passing strike.
09:02Now they've got to do something here late in the clock.
09:04Ball behind Cooper.
09:05Shot clock winding down and running out.
09:07Mavericks turn the ball over.
09:12It's a dead ball turnover with the shot clock violation.
09:15And the Clippers have scored the last six points of the game and they lead it by five.
09:21They are three and six at home.
09:23And like the Mavericks they've lost their last three games.
09:26Dallas's three losses of course to Memphis at home and on the road against Miami and the Lakers.
09:31And the Clippers they lost on the road against the Cavaliers and Lakers and then lost at home last night to Memphis.
09:37So a couple of common opponents for these teams in these three game losing streets that they're both on right now.
09:47There's a leaner made by Cooper.
09:49And the aggressiveness has resulted in the first three Dallas baskets being scored by Flagg.
09:56Chris Dunn runs the floor and he scores quickly for the Clippers who lead by seven.
10:01Something that can happen with a team that plays at a slow pace like that.
10:04You can't give up a wide open layup on a main basket.
10:07Clippers are the second slowest paced team in the league.
10:11Only Boston plays at a slower pace in terms of possessions per game this year.
10:16Harden is defending.
10:17Max Christie almost took it away from him.
10:20It rolls to Max and it's going to be potentially another shot clock violation.
10:24They'll count that as a block shot in possession for the Clippers.
10:27But it's two Maverick possessions where the time has run on them essentially as Zubats misses on the catch
10:36an attempt to go straight up with a hook shot.
10:38Here's a dribble up three for Koopman way off target and out of bounds.
10:43I'm okay with the aggression level.
10:45Let's take a look at the ball ball performance plan for tonight.
10:48With the lack of size we have to be relentless rebounding the basketball to counter what Zubats brings.
10:53That's not just a one man job it's a five man job.
10:56And we hopefully tonight can get over these four quarters that we've been seeing in these clutch games.
11:01Be efficient and get the necessary stops but also offensively be effective.
11:06Clippers have really struggled in fourth quarters this year.
11:08So the Mavericks certainly hope they're in position to make them feel the pressure.
11:12Cooper going after the offensive rebound saved in by Dunn after Christie missed it.
11:16The Clippers are 29th in the league and fourth quarter scoring differential and the fourth quarter offense.
11:23They're scoring 26 points for fourth quarter and that's a minus 3.2 relative to the opponent for a fourth quarter as well.
11:30So four fourth quarters part of the reason why the Clippers are five and 14.
11:35They've lost 12 of their last 14 games.
11:38Off for Najee Marshall.
11:42Here's Kawhi Leonard and catching up to the play and disrupting the shot was Dwight Powell.
11:47Did a good job of fouling as well.
11:50Powell with his first start of the season tonight.
11:52Max Christie putting up a three.
11:54Zubats with the rebound and the outlet pass to Kawhi Leonard.
11:58Mavericks lost 129-119 to the Lakers last night.
12:01Dallas took a 110-109 lead on the basket by Anthony Davis with 7.52 left in the game.
12:07Lakers then went on a 12-1 run and that was pretty much it.
12:12That was a rip through move so no free throws.
12:15But there is a timeout on the floor with 6.39 left in the first quarter in the Clippers.
12:19Now it's time for our Chaw Talk game within the game.
12:22And that person is Kawhi Leonard working his way back from a right ankle sprain.
12:27Look, he's one of the most dynamic players when he's healthy.
12:30And he does it in a very efficient way.
12:3226 points shooting 52% from 3.
12:367 of 17 from 3.
12:38And those big hands get a lot of deflections on the ball.
12:421.7 steals.
12:43And now the Clippers are happy to have him back.
12:46But when he's on the floor, he does it in a lot of different ways.
12:49Devon had kept him between 26 and 28 minutes per game.
12:52And the first three games returning from a 10-game absence due to a right ankle sprain.
12:56The first two games kind of eased into it.
12:58It was 12 of 27 from the floor in the first two games he played this week.
13:02But then went off last night to the tune of 15 of 24 from the floor for the 39 points in 28 minutes and 31 seconds of game action for Kawhi Leonard last night.
13:15The best scoring output by a player in the league this year in less than 30 minutes was the 42 points that Grayson Allen had in a game for the Phoenix Suns against the New Orleans Pelicans.
13:26We do not see Harden miss free throws very often.
13:2991% almost going into play tonight.
13:32And you thought he wasn't going to the free throw line.
13:35Yeah, and here he is.
13:36He has taken one shot in this game.
13:38Yeah, I thought that was a rip through move, but he gets fouled again on a three.
13:41And he does that more than anybody else at the NBA.
13:45Not even close.
13:46Tally that one up.
13:47Number 21 in terms of being fouled on three-point attempts this year.
13:51Harden has taken one.
13:53Here's the times fouled on three-point attempts.
13:55He's almost doubling up his former Clippers teammate Norman Powell.
14:00Julian Champagny is third on the list.
14:06Clippers are on a 12-2 run right now and they lead it by nine.
14:10Here's Brandon Williams in the game.
14:12And that goes over the rim and into the hands of Musa Cece trying to go back to B-Will.
14:16Caleb Martin came in with Cece and with Williams at the timeout.
14:21And it's Cooper putting it down to scoring.
14:23I like the aggressive play from him in this first quarter.
14:27He's got it.
14:28Tends to wait until the second half, see that game's played before he picks up his aggressive level.
14:32With a lot of guys out, they're going to need a big scoring output from him.
14:35And he's doing his job.
14:37Here's Harden with it.
14:38Harden just went to the free throw line and made two out of three.
14:41He's had one shot attempt in the game that was a two.
14:45This is a three that he drains late in the clock.
14:47The two-pointer that he took, by the way, earlier in the first quarter was his 10,000th career two-point field goal attempts.
14:55Oh, that's a nice finish in the paint.
14:57Score it and a foul for Brandon Williams.
14:59So patient, not really worried about the clock, knowing that he can get that shot at pretty much any time, especially going to that right.
15:09Long strides, but B will be able to get the end one with the split.
15:15Chris Dunn was called for the foul for the Clippers.
15:23That's their first team foul.
15:25So Brandon Williams started nine straight games and then was off the bench last night with Ryan Nembhard starting.
15:3311.3 is just in 24 minutes for Williams last night.
15:39And B will having to shoot in front of the wall as they call it here.
15:43The steep angle stands that are trying to recreate the vibe, of course, of the European soccer ground and the intense fan atmosphere.
15:55Cissé, that is going to be Dallas' second defensive goaltending call here in the opening six and a half minutes.
16:03So I have a question on the wall as we look at this goaltend.
16:06Definitely on the way down.
16:08So wouldn't it make more sense to have that in front of you in the second half?
16:14Well, I think that the opponent, you know, picks what basket they want to shoot at, so the opponent is avoiding that.
16:21You know, some obviously, you know, I think back in the day, most of the time coaches wanted their defense in front of them on the road in the first half.
16:30And the Mavericks still do that.
16:31But a lot of a lot of teams have changed.
16:34And so I think a lot of teams end up shooting on that end of the floor in the second half when they have their offense in front of them now in the second half.
16:44Here is a Caleb Martin defensive rebound.
16:46So there obviously was some unexpected news with the P.J. Washington falling on a basketball incident before the start of the game tonight.
16:55Leslie McCaslin has more of what's up with P.J. Leslie.
16:58Yeah, just so unfortunate.
16:59Questionable to return.
17:00You guys saw it.
17:01His ankle was twisted.
17:02It's a right ankle.
17:03He's getting treatment on it right now.
17:05So hopefully he'll be able to return.
17:07But he is questionable, guys.
17:08So Max Christie scored, then Caleb Martin stole the inbounds pass but didn't finish at the rim.
17:15And then the Clippers head the other direction.
17:17We've seen L.A. bring on one change here so far in the first quarter, and that was Nick Batum.
17:27Batum went in for Kawhi Leonard.
17:30Harden, who has more first quarter points than any player in the NBA this year, already has seven.
17:35And now he's matched up against Klay Thompson as Klay just checked in.
17:38And Harden maneuvered around Thompson and then missed on the shot attempt.
17:42But it was easy for Zubac to clean up the offensive glass.
17:45Harden sets the tone for this team offensively and then obviously starts to pick at spots to start getting other guys involved.
17:53But we did something very similar when I played with Josh Howard.
17:56He was the guy we set the table for in the first quarter.
17:59Kind of get him going.
18:01Koop, and he tips in his own miss.
18:04There's a lot to like about what we've seen out of Cooper flag tonight in the first quarter.
18:08Eight shots, five of them made.
18:10And that's, I'm sorry, six made shots now out of nine.
18:13So 12 points here in the first quarter for Koop.
18:17He's got 12 of Dallas to 16.
18:19They've got a B-Will basket and a Max Christie basket.
18:22And then it's the Cooper show outside of that.
18:25Drive and kick.
18:26And this is what Batum does predominantly.
18:28He leads the NBA in three-point attempt rate.
18:31Ninety-three percent of his shots are threes.
18:34And Batum missed a three.
18:35Klay just missed a three for the Mavericks.
18:37Batum took the ball away after it appeared that Caleb Martin was about to secure an offensive rebound.
18:43And here's a quick shot up and good for John Collins.
18:49Collins averaging 11 and a half points, five and a half rebounds in his first season with the Clippers.
18:54Six years with Atlanta, two years with the Jazz.
18:57So season nine out of Georgia Tech.
19:00Under three to play in the first quarter.
19:03Cissé is the roller.
19:05And Cissé coming together with Collins and a foul on John Collins who was in the restricted area.
19:11Well, some stick-to-itiveness for Cooper Flagg.
19:14He drives.
19:15He shoots.
19:16And follows home his own miss.
19:17Nicely.
19:18Mavericks.
19:19P.J. Washington, Jr.
19:20Because during warm-ups he twisted his ankle falling on a ball underneath the basket.
19:26Anthony Davis, Daniel Gafford, Derek Lively, Kyrie Irving, Dante Exum, the five out going into play tonight.
19:31The Mavericks have lost 84 man games due to injury this year.
19:35Fourth most in the NBA.
19:36Beal, Bogey, Derek Jones, Jr., Jordan Miller, the players out tonight for the Clippers.
19:41Yeah, both teams being hit with the injury bug.
19:43Obviously, Dallas has been dealing with this for the last 17 months.
19:46We know the Clippers are one of the oldest teams in the NBA.
19:49But just look at the names on this and the impact that they have on the game.
19:53It's just very unfortunate, obviously, with Dallas.
19:56Already short-handed with a lot of guys out.
19:59Then you lose a guy like P.J. in warm-ups.
20:02Just really speaks to what they've been dealing with over the last, you know, 17 months or so.
20:07On the pre-throw line here is Musa Cissé.
20:10And Cissé makes the first of two.
20:13Tonight, game number 16 of the season.
20:15For the rookie born in West Africa in Guinea, 23 years old.
20:20A collegiate career that took him to Ole Miss, Memphis, and Oklahoma State.
20:24Not in that order.
20:30I'm quite impressed that Cissé made both free throws in front of the wall.
20:34He is 9 of 25 on free throws this season.
20:39But certainly, as we have seen in terms of his aggressiveness blocking shots,
20:44activity, hustle, etc.
20:46There is a lot to like about the young man on the two-way contract, Musa Cissé.
20:51Now, Dallas gets a stop and they head the other way.
20:53So, again, P.J. is questionable to play in tonight's game after the pre-game warm-up incident.
21:03Caleb Martin from the corner for three was going in to track his own miss.
21:09As Martin does not connect on the corner three.
21:13And it's James Harden.
21:15And a foul's been called.
21:17The referees tonight, Josh Tiven, 16th year from Norwich, Connecticut.
21:21Jason Goble, 10th year, Miami, Florida.
21:23Shea Flores, 4th year, Los Angeles, California.
21:26It is wild to me, Devin, that at 27.6 points per game, there's so much scoring in the league now that Harden is only 13th in the league in scoring in a number like that.
21:43He's fifth in assists, by the way, averaging just over eight and a half assists.
21:47A lot of pace change.
21:50He's playing at a higher pace.
21:52But he gets off to a great start in the first quarter.
21:55And obviously, you know, the ball is going to be in his hands in the fourth as well over straightening offense.
21:59But, you know, we talk about him getting fouls on three three-point shots.
22:04So he gets to the free throw line, hit some big threes.
22:07And the offense is run through his eyes and what he sees.
22:11And he's still dynamic at the age that he is and really getting it done.
22:15Quite a set of eyes to run the offense through in terms of what he's seen.
22:18By the way, there was a clock malfunction.
22:20You may have seen that for a moment there, the clock on the screen and in the arena showed that it was eight minutes and 15 seconds to play in the first quarter.
22:272.10 is the appropriate time, although that's still being discussed amongst the referees.
22:35Meanwhile, Chris Paul, you just saw him chatting up Jason Kidd.
22:39A lot of assists over there.
22:40And steals, for that matter.
22:42And for a long time, Jay Kidd held spots two in assists and steals in NBA history.
22:48And last season, Chris Paul passed him in both of those categories.
22:53All right.
22:54We have another.
22:55We still have clock issues, it appears.
22:57And we have more on P.J. Washington from Leslie McCaslin.
23:00Leslie, what do you have for us?
23:02Yeah.
23:03Mavs PR just told us that he is out, guys, with that right ankle sprain.
23:07I just had a feeling when we were told to send it to Leslie for a report.
23:11I didn't feel good about it.
23:12I know.
23:13Yeah.
23:14Love being the bearer of bad news, guys.
23:15I know you don't like being the bearer of bad news.
23:17That is, none of us do.
23:19And Leslie had the unfortunate duties to deliver some of the worst news with regard to how P.J. was injured tonight.
23:29Just a crazy incident.
23:30Yeah.
23:31We're standing right there in front of him, and there's a loose ball, and all of a sudden he's on the floor.
23:36Good ball movement here for the Mavs, and a three-pointer is good for Najee Marshall.
23:42Good offensive possession.
23:44Swing, swing to a nice slot three.
23:48Devon, when you look at Marshall over the last 12 games, 15 points, six rebounds a game.
23:53But this is the number that, as much as anything, stands out, about 35% on threes.
23:57And remember that after he was signed from New Orleans, I'll revisit that.
24:01We've got an open court opportunity here for Brandon Williams.
24:04The steal, and he's able to beat Kobe Sanders down the floor to score it for the Mavericks.
24:10This has forced Ty Lue into a timeout.
24:17Brandon Williams, speed kills, as you're fond of saying.
24:20You would know.
24:21You've walked in those shoes before.
24:22Absolutely.
24:23But I think that was set up by the pressure of Caleb Martin, forcing the errant pass.
24:28Be well in the right spot, able to use some of that speed.
24:31And obviously, when you're out in front, nobody's catching him.
24:35It's a good start turning defense into offense and hanging around.
24:39Obviously, we're shorthanded, but this team continues to fight.
24:42Hey, Mavs fans.
24:46DraftKings Pick 6 is now available in Texas, and you can make picks live once games have tipped off.
24:52Download the DraftKings Pick 6 app now and sign up with code Mavs.
24:56So you see B-Will, who's provided six points off the bench so far.
25:00The Maverick bench scores 43 points per game, fourth in the NBA.
25:05I was mentioning Marshall's three-point shooting a moment ago, Devin.
25:08Marshall has hit 35% of his threes over the last 12 games going into play tonight and is connected on one.
25:14And you like to see that when he played his final season in New Orleans, his fourth year in the league, he really had an uptick in his three-point percentage.
25:23He connected on nearly 39% of his threes on increased volume in his final season with the Pelicans.
25:29He got to Dallas last year, and then the three-point percentage dropped to 28% last season.
25:34So if you can keep it in the mid-thirties, just very, very close to league average.
25:38The league average going into play tonight is just a little bit less than 36%.
25:42That would be fantastic if you could get Marshall right in the mid-thirties.
25:45That takes him into the prototypical 3D type of player.
25:48And obviously with the way he drives the basketball, it's a lot tougher to guard when you've got to stretch out to the three-point line.
25:55There's Chris Paul. He's back into the rotation.
25:57Remember, he had a few D&P coaches' decisions, including the game in Dallas just over two weeks ago.
26:03A game won by the Clippers.
26:05133-127 in double overtime.
26:07Kobe Sanders has gone into the rotation.
26:10He's played in the last nine games going into tonight.
26:13He just missed on the shot.
26:15Williams has made three around the basket.
26:17He heaves a three. That's off target.
26:19And the rebound is collected by Kobe Brown for the Clippers.
26:24Brown in his third season from Missouri.
26:26Baseline, Jay. John Collins. Nice bounce.
26:33The injury to Derrick Jones Jr., you would expect him to have a bigger impact offensively.
26:38And we've seen what that looks like on other teams.
26:40Yes, with Atlanta in particular.
26:43Had some outstanding games as we know.
26:45He's averaged more points and shot better against the Mavericks than any other team in the NBA.
26:49As Williams drives it, but Brown blocks it.
26:52And then Kobe Brown in transition turned down an outside shot and basically frittered away an opportunity for the Clippers to go two for one at the end of the first quarter.
27:02Now Brown and Powell got locked up for a moment.
27:08It's a pick and pop opportunity here for Kobe Brown, who shot threes very well in his senior season at Missouri.
27:15Forty five and a half percent.
27:17Now in his third year in the league, just hadn't had a lot of playing time.
27:20Brown tonight is playing in just his 96th game in our 97th game now in two plus seasons.
27:28Got a foul here on Chris Paul and with 2.9 love to the first quarter.
27:34Back on the free throw line.
27:35He's had an and one free throw in the game and missed it.
27:37So two now for Brandon Williams.
27:49The season is a little bit over 80% on his free throws.
27:55Native of Southern California.
27:57Grew up in the valley from Encino, California, and one week ago tonight turned 26 years old.
28:06Cooper flag came out very aggressive and left Dallas with 12 in the first quarter.
28:12Brandon Williams has given them eight off the bench.
28:15So that's 80% of your offense out of those two guys.
28:18And Dallas with a late first quarter run eats up a lot of a ten point deficit.
28:24And so after one here at Intuit Dome in Englewood, California, Clippers 28, Mavericks 25.
28:33Clippers lead the Mavericks 28-25 after the first quarter.
28:38Stats from the first quarter of tonight's game covered in the Baylor Scott and White health pulse check.
28:43Clippers shot 50%.
28:45Mavericks about 42%.
28:47Tough game in terms of shooting threes for both teams so far.
28:50Paint points almost level.
28:51Bench points favor Dallas.
28:53And given who is unavailable and what happened before the game with P.J. turning his ankle and now out for the game.
29:00And this is a chance for a tying three-point play here by Dwight Powell.
29:04With P.J. out now, I don't think I could state enthusiastically enough that being in position to tie this game here
29:11on the first offensive possession of the second quarter is pretty darn good by me.
29:16The mark of this team, we've seen it all year long, no matter who's in uniform, they're going to bring it on a night-to-night basis.
29:22And scoring's got to come from somewhere solid defensively, but they continue to fight and make these games very interesting.
29:32Yes, they do.
29:33The Mavericks, of course, have played more clutch games and clutch minutes than any team in the league.
29:39Fifteen clutch games going into play tonight.
29:43Chris Paul with a pull-up at the elbow.
29:46That's no good.
29:47Going right and shooting from the right elbow thousands of times a shot that's been taken in Chris Paul's career.
29:54Dwight Powell gives it up to Ryan Nembhard.
29:57Nembhard misses on the corner.
29:59Three-point attempt, and Kawhi Leonard has it.
30:02Clippers have led by as many as ten.
30:05Mavericks' only lead in this game was at 4-3.
30:08Now it's all square at 28.
30:10Paint catch and lost ball, and Nembhard will center the fast break.
30:16Pushes it patiently up the floor.
30:19The Clippers get back, but Nembhard has plenty of support.
30:22Picks out a good pass from Marshall.
30:25Shot clock goes under ten.
30:27Cooper returns it to Marshall, short on a three-point attempt.
30:34Dallas back to defend the Clippers in transition.
30:36They couldn't push it off the miss.
30:38Kobe Sanders has it back.
30:40Turns down an outside shot.
30:42Mavericks wall off the paint.
30:44There was nothing inside for Sanders, and the outside jumpers missed by Paul.
30:47Solid defense.
30:48Kept him out of the paint.
30:51Marshall's in the paint.
30:52Ball poked away.
30:53Nembhard with a deep knee bend.
30:56He got all of his mites into that shot and nails the three-pointer from the wing.
31:01Sometimes that's what you have to do in a back-to-back.
31:03Gotta get those leads pumping and work out some of that from last night.
31:09But the struggle from three-point lane has been there in the first half.
31:15Hopefully that's a sign for more things to come.
31:17Oh, Zubac lost his balance, and Powell was part of that play.
31:21And now here's Nembhard.
31:23He's attacking Marshall all kinds of time to organize himself in the corner, but it's no good.
31:29Nembhard's three, giving Dallas a 31-28 advantage.
31:32Nembhard's already have five steals in this game.
31:35They average just over eight per contest.
31:37Up for a three, no good for Sanders.
31:39Sanders is 35%, the rookie playing in his 12th NBA game.
31:45Defend!
31:46Defend!
31:47Defend!
31:48Defend!
31:49Defend!
31:50Coop with 12 in the first quarter.
31:52Flag in the paint on the turnaround, and he hits it over Chris Paul.
31:55Well, and Chris Paul, you have the oldest player in the league at 40 years old,
32:02and the youngest player in the league, Cooper Flag, less than a month away from turning at 19.
32:08This is a 15-4 Dallas run going back to late in the first quarter,
32:13and two of those four points for the Clippers just scored on that jumper by Brown.
32:19Shoot them all, Coop.
32:20Shoot them all.
32:21He has put up ten, oh, I'm sorry, 11 shots now in this game.
32:26Here's Powell in the pick and roll.
32:27How about shot number 12?
32:28He's taking you serious, Devin.
32:30Yeah.
32:31Don't save the bullets.
32:34Seven of eight on two-point shots for Cooper Flag in this game.
32:38Just unfortunately has not been able to drill one of the threes that he's attempted,
32:42and here's a shot that's right in a sweet spot on the floor for Kawhi Leonard,
32:48and then the sequence finally leads to a foul being called on Dwight Powell, right?
32:55And then the first person versus .
33:00Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
33:01Pages out of Anthony Davis' book,
33:04Post Up Mid-Post Right on the Free Throw Line.
33:08Don't really necessarily have to mess around,
33:11just be able to rise up over a smaller player and bury it.
33:15There was a foul called on Dallas with eight thirty-five left in the second quarter.
33:21I think the foul might be challenged, it is.
33:24So we'll be back with the challenge results in quarter.
33:27This coach's challenge is presented by Sprites.
33:31After review, the first illegal contact on the play is the forearm of Zubak into the neck of Powell.
33:37The play is being overturned to a loose ball foul on Zubak.
33:40It is a successful challenge for Dallas.
33:42Well, you just heard the announcement from the crew chief.
33:44They will have one further challenge if needed.
33:46The mandatory timeout is charged as it is mandatory.
33:48You deserve the crew chief Josh Timmons.
33:51That was initially called a foul on Dwight Powell.
33:53And so understandably, Jake had challenged it because clearly Powell did not foul Zubak with his face.
34:04He did not do that, Devon.
34:06We've seen that called by some officials in the past, but that was not a foul on Dwight.
34:12It was a loose ball foul on Zubak.
34:14Can you foul somebody with your face?
34:16I mean, it's been called.
34:17It's been called.
34:18It's been called.
34:23Off we go with Dallas in possession of the ball.
34:25The loose ball foul on Zubak is the second team foul on the Clippers this quarter.
34:30It's an empty possession, though, after the successful coaches challenge for Dallas.
34:34And it's the Clippers wearing their Buffalo Braves themed city edition jerseys.
34:40Because, of course, they were the Buffalo Braves before they were the San Diego Clippers.
34:44And now, of course, the Los Angeles Clippers for just over 40 seasons.
34:49It's been short on the three-point attempt.
34:51Klay Thompson.
34:55Kawhi Leonard with it.
34:57And now there's some action off the ball where Cooper Flagg finds himself down.
35:02And Coop has been called for the foul here on a play involving Zubak's again.
35:08Zubak's is in all the mixes tonight.
35:12He is.
35:13Well, he's a very large individual.
35:16He is.
35:17So, no surprise.
35:18And, of course, he is always going to be a big presence whenever there's a scouting report
35:25for a Maverick coaching staff and group of players because he just has so much history
35:29of playing well against Dallas over the years.
35:31Kawhi Leonard drains a three-point.
35:38Can't make that mistake and go underneath that pin down there.
35:41He's going to pop back and shoot that one every single time.
35:44Got to stay on his body.
35:46Native of the Los Angeles High School in the Inland Empire.
35:50Riverside.
35:51Down the line.
35:52Oh, nice jump stop and adjustment in mid-air.
35:55Well done by Coop all around in terms of going to the paint tonight.
36:00That's eight made two-point baskets in this game for Cooper.
36:05Oh, nice move working inside.
36:07Vintage Kawhi Leonard.
36:10Slow methodical, but he gets it done.
36:12He gets to that spot.
36:13Nice footwork.
36:15Got him with the shoulder fake and goes up with a nice jump hook.
36:19Probably a good time to remind everyone that despite his ten-game absence due to injury
36:23and the nine games Leonard's played, he's averaging nearly 25 points per game.
36:28So, he is still getting buckets and so is John Collins with an explosive transition.
36:35Reverse jam.
36:36That was off the bottle too.
36:44Coop on another drive.
36:45Filling an open spot in the corner.
36:47Missed three by Christie.
36:49Rebound here for James Harden.
36:53Methodically bringing it up the floor.
36:55Harden, pocket pass to Zubats.
36:58And it was a well executed pick and roll until Zubats heaved up that little push shot
37:03with a little bit too much juice on it.
37:05Max Christie going into play tonight.
37:08Sixth in the NBA.
37:09Nearly 47% on threes.
37:11We are still, still waiting that is, to see him connect on his first one tonight.
37:18Gliding to the rim.
37:19Not nearly as forceful as that reverse jam, but it's two more on the board for John Collins.
37:24And it's off to a strong start in this first half with 16 points.
37:29And the aggression level has been since the word go.
37:34Doing most of his damage inside three-point line with an array of mid-range shots getting
37:39all the way to the rim.
37:40But with all these guys being out, the offense has to come from somewhere.
37:45And Coopers took it among himself to get off to a good start.
37:50So tonight, Coopers really, to your point, Devin, the aggression in terms of shooting the ball
37:55has been there from the opening sequences of the game.
37:58And he scored 16 points.
38:00Last night, though, as we look at tonight's Lexus leaderboard, was a night to get other people involved.
38:05He had 13 points, but he had 11 assists last night.
38:08And on the Lexus leaderboard, Cooper has the most assists in a game for any player
38:13who appeared in a game before turning 19 years old with the 11 dimes he had last night.
38:18LeBron James had 10 assists in a game 10 days before his 19th birthday.
38:24And he had nine assists in five other games before he turned 19 years old.
38:28Cooper's one of 33 players in NBA history to appear in a game before turning 19.
38:35Jay Kidd talked about Coopers in the pregame presser and just his time at point guard
38:40and what he was trying to install in him.
38:42And that's also getting the reach down on pick and rolls and trying to build some chemistry with some of the big guys.
38:47And obviously switch them back to his more normal position.
38:50But you're seeing some of the benefits of that playmaking that he had to do early in the season that's really paying off now.
38:56Four three up top missed by Nembhard.
38:59Bottom line is this great scores in this league have to be able to initiate offense.
39:05And whether that leads to a shot for themselves or for someone else.
39:09There's a foul before the CSA block shot here that will send Harden to the free throw line.
39:14If you're going to be a great scorer, then it's also going to fall on you that you have to be able to create for other players.
39:20Read defenses and make the appropriate reads in terms of when to shoot and when to distribute.
39:26Like the guy that just draw that foul.
39:28There you go.
39:29And he certainly has learned that at the highest levels in his career.
39:35Harden has had seasons in his career of leading the NBA in assists along of course with multiple seasons leading the league in scoring.
39:43Your dual threat like that and the ability to have an offense built around you.
39:49takes the game to another level, especially when you start thinking the game, especially with the pace that the game is being played at nowadays.
39:56At 36 years old, Devin James Harden as tonight with the 10 now 11 points that he has.
40:03So he's left 100 points away based on what he's done tonight from passing Carmelo Anthony and moving into 10th in NBA history and point scored.
40:12James is at 28, 195 points.
40:19Tough night so far for Max Christie shooting the ball.
40:25Clippers are on a 14 to 2 run.
40:27Dallas has it back.
40:28Caleb Martin got hit hard by Nick Batum.
40:32Martin goes to ground and Batum in his 18th year in the league is called for the foul.
40:39People ask about what the purpose of that call.
40:43You've got to give the defender a step to be able to maneuver around the screen.
40:49And with that, the Clippers turn the ball over.
40:56Low turnover game for the Mavericks, only two.
40:58Clippers now have six.
40:59And cutting in from the baseline was Dwight Powell.
41:02And Brandon Williams found him and Powell finishes and draws a foul.
41:06Such a benefit to have a third center like Dwight knowing that when his number gets called, he's always going to be ready to play and ready to deliver.
41:18It's a nice late find.
41:21But be willing, Dwight with the finish.
41:24And looking for his second three point play of the game.
41:31And Dwight's career with Dallas tonight is 255 starts.
41:38716 games with the Mavs.
41:44So has started a little bit more than a third of the time across his now 12 seasons with the Mavs.
41:54Mavericks off the turn on the floor.
41:58And normally that shot is right as rain for Max Christie.
42:02But unfortunately tonight, he's having a rough go.
42:04Here's a pull up made by Kawhi Leonard.
42:07He's not having a rough go.
42:08He's not, Devon.
42:09He is locked and loaded tonight.
42:11Leading the Clippers with 12 points.
42:12A five of eight shooting.
42:17Replicating a lot of what he did last night.
42:19It was a loss for the Clippers, but it certainly wasn't on the shoulders of Kawhi Leonard.
42:23It was fabulous last night.
42:25Volleyballed off the backboard by Powell after the initial miss for Williams.
42:29Be well slow to get up.
42:31Here's a loose ball.
42:32Caleb Martin was battling for it.
42:33But the claw-like hands of Kawhi Leonard lead to him getting it back.
42:39Unbelievable, dude.
42:40One handed, like lost him.
42:42Then he had to go to the ground.
42:44Just snatched it up.
42:45Unbelievable.
42:46He is averaging 2.2 steals a game.
42:49I don't think that's an official steal.
42:51That's just big hands winning a loose ball situation that he was about to cough up.
42:56There it is.
42:57Williams who wedged his way between, speaking of Kawhi, Harden, and Leonard.
43:02And it opens up at the last second for Be Will to score.
43:05And he's having himself a very nice night off the bench.
43:08End of double figures now with 10.
43:12Operating on the bounce.
43:13Leonard foul.
43:14Caleb Martin before the act of shooting.
43:19So it's the third team foul on the Mavericks here this quarter.
43:21You see the deflection here.
43:23I think Caleb has it right here.
43:25He just snatches that thing with one hand and then gets to that spot.
43:30Pull up that he loves so much.
43:36Leonard goes out now.
43:38Second night of a back-to-back for him.
43:40The first one that he's played since two games against the Mavericks in this building.
43:45April 4th and 5th last year.
43:47A drive for Harden.
43:48Tough shot.
43:49Draws a foul.
43:52For Dwight.
43:53That's his first foul of tonight's game.
43:55And the Mavericks now at 14 fouls here in the second quarter.
44:02Harden has missed one of the seven free throws that he's taken in the first half.
44:07And he'll go to the line for two with 315 remaining in the second quarter for the Clippers.
44:12Three and six at home.
44:14Five and 14 on the year.
44:21$5.
44:31This is the third game of four consecutive road games for the Mavs.
44:39for the Mavs Dallas just one road win so far this year is at Washington five and
44:4815 record four wins at home of course played 13 their first 18 at home and now
44:54four straight on the road for the Mavs and Brandon Williams although this may
44:58not feel like a road game for him since he's back home he hits on the short
45:01pull-up some heavy lifting tonight for flag and be well that's where
45:0828 of Dallas's points have come from tonight that ball pinballed around in
45:13the lane and ultimately goes out of bounds here with 249 left in the second
45:16it's good pace here and we create a little bit of space for that pull-up off
45:23to a really strong start in his homecoming
45:30closing in on a hundred games played in the NBA Williams this is his 93rd tonight to
45:37the jump hook even to zoo box fourth in the league last year and rebounds per
45:43game he's fourth this year and in terms of scoring tonight he's got nine and in
45:48terms of rebounds he's got seven and a scoop to the hoop by coop against even to
45:53zoo box say that three times scoop to the hoop by coop I can at least do it once
45:57zoom box called for the foul and for the first time tonight at 80% on the year exactly 48 out of 60
46:10going into this game remember that coop made his first 24 free throws this year 24 36 cents his rookie
46:23ranks since the fifth of November he's first or second amongst rookies in all of these
46:30categories of note points paint points board steals and 20 point games safe to say the 20 point game is
46:37he's probably gone to add another one to correct correct Mundo we concur
46:47overall numbers on the year for coop nearly 16 points per game six and a half boards three and a half assist
46:53goes one of two on the line that's point number 17 and point number 43 of the game for the Mavs who trailed by seven
47:05squigans make way out on the Florida screen was Chris Dunn Dunn picks up the ball on the deflection
47:16Kobe Brown on the drive a little indecisive but he found out and it's battuon who misses on the corner three
47:2238% on threes this year for Batum.
47:27Brandon Williams for three from Cooper.
47:32Releasing.
47:33John Collins runs the floor.
47:35Second slam dunk of the game for John Collins.
47:39Dallas quickly the other end of the floor and gliding to the basket.
47:44Cooper flag.
47:46Well, he's on the lip of the cup now with that 20-point game
47:50we were just talking about.
47:52Cooper's hooping.
47:53Yes, he is.
47:54He is a hooper.
47:57We have a foul on Dallas and they go over the limit here.
48:00This is five and a quarter on the Mavs.
48:03Buck 34 left in the second.
48:05And another drive.
48:07Steady diet of drives for Cooper flag tonight.
48:10Loves that left hand.
48:11Simple in and out.
48:13Getting hardened a little bit off balance and then the seal by Dwight.
48:17Opens up that gap for the layup.
48:19Mavericks are a team that has been driving the ball more and more as the season has played out.
48:24As we're now into the second quarter of the season with 20 games in the books.
48:31The Mavericks are at 54 drives per game.
48:34Almost 55.
48:35That's sixth in the league.
48:36And so drives in pace.
48:38I think there's probably a relationship between the two.
48:40Devin the Mavs are seventh in the league in pace.
48:43And the Clippers, by the way, second slowest in pace.
48:46Those two go hand in hand, especially when you're trying to score in the first six seconds of the shot clock.
48:53Typically a lot of those are going to be drives and paint touches.
48:56And Jaden Hardy with some time here.
48:59Hardy, he drives on a crossover.
49:01And Hardy, who just played a minute ten at the end of the game, misses that shot.
49:04But Najee Marshall, disruptor.
49:06Loose ball picked up.
49:07Hardy.
49:08First chance no.
49:09Second chance yes.
49:10Hardy missed.
49:11But then Marshall who made that happen with the initial steal on the backcourt.
49:15Ends up cleaning the glass.
49:16And a couple of those just hanging around trying to pick up James to get kind of a look what I found type steals.
49:24Marshall was truly a last minute substitution into the starting lineup.
49:30If you're just tuning in in the layup line tonight, P.J. Washington stepped on a ball underneath the basket and hurt his right ankle.
49:40Went back to the locker room and then we found out late in the first quarter he's officially out for the game.
49:45And another drive and finish by Cooper Flagg hits the deck.
49:49But the drive game tonight has been exquisite.
49:53Change of pace.
49:54Going left.
49:56Slicing through defenders.
49:58All in his bag that's clutched tonight, Cooper Flagg.
50:04A 21 point first half.
50:08And Coop challenges that shot going to the basket, Kobe Brown.
50:15I like this person.
50:16I mean, sign me up for this.
50:22Most points by a rookie in the first half this year.
50:24The 21 that Coop has.
50:26And maybe one more chance.
50:28And of course he's going to drive it.
50:30He got hit at the free throw line and got it away.
50:32Dallas is down by seven.
50:3756-49.
50:39And it is just a steady drive of going to the cup.
50:44Slicing and dicing.
50:47Love it.
50:48Dallas down seven at the half.
50:49He is brought to you by Rooms to Go.
50:56By the peace, save a little.
50:58By the room, save a lot.
51:00By FanDuel Picks, the easiest way to play.
51:04By your North Texas Chevy dealers.
51:06And by Grey Goose, make time win.
51:13We are back in L.A. with our Rooms to Go recap.
51:15Matt's down seven.
51:16Of course, I had to ask assistant coach Josh Brokehammer about Cooper Flagg's first half.
51:2121 points.
51:22Said he's being as aggressive as we have always wanted to be.
51:25Right now, he's getting a lot of shots.
51:27At some point, that may take change.
51:29And they may take that away from him.
51:31But right now, he is playing exactly like we've always wanted him to.
51:34Guys, Clippers played a back-to-back last night as well.
51:37Zubox Harden.
51:38They want to keep running them up and down the floor.
51:40But happy overall with the way this team has played in the first half.
51:43Dallas is down by seven right now.
51:45They overcame a ten-point deficit.
51:47Briefly took the lead in the second quarter.
51:49On two-point shots.
51:51That was a miss by Cooper.
51:53So he's ten for fifteen on two-point shots.
51:550 for three on threes in the game.
51:57Nimhart a defensive rebound.
51:59Outlet to Coop.
52:00He's got Max Christie running with him.
52:02And then Christie drifts out to the corner.
52:05Where he's been so good this year.
52:06The best in the NBA, as a matter of fact.
52:08Offensive rebound.
52:09Tracked down by Powell.
52:10Shot hit by Nimhart from distance.
52:13Set up by the hustle by Powell.
52:15Wrestling that rebound away from Harden.
52:20Kawhi has stepped in nicely as a starter tonight.
52:23Seventeen minutes.
52:25Six points.
52:26Three boards.
52:27Couple of assists.
52:28And Kawhi Leonard.
52:29He looks really good.
52:31I mean, this is a player who recently had a ten-game absence.
52:35Due to an ankle sprain.
52:37And it took a couple of games to knock the rust off, Devon.
52:39But last night and tonight have been uber-efficient performances by Kawhi.
52:44Yeah, he's locked in.
52:45Kooke battling against the defense.
52:49To Marshall.
52:50And Naughty hits on the corner three.
52:52And the Mavs creep back to within four.
52:54Early third quarter.
52:56As we bring you the action from the Intuit Dome.
52:59Second season of the Intuit Dome.
53:00Oh!
53:01Steal Dallas with the pass by Powell.
53:04Just a little bit too far in front of a releasing and wide open.
53:09Marshall.
53:10Overthrew him on the flag route.
53:12Very unfortunate, my friend.
53:21With the ball Harden.
53:23Out front, Chris Dunn.
53:25And that was...
53:27Even Zubats is looking at Dunn.
53:29Yeah, like, I'm not open yet.
53:30I'm not open yet.
53:31Why did you try to throw me that entry pass?
53:37Strange decision on the pass.
53:39But for the Clippers, they still have the ball.
53:41Deflected out with ten on the shot clock.
53:47Palming it was Kawhi.
53:48Now he's doubled and he throws it way over Dunn.
53:55He threw that pass as if he were expecting Dunn to be out there on the wing beyond the three-point line, Devin.
53:59And Dunn started to cut.
54:01Yep.
54:02Which I think that cut has to be earlier.
54:06Leads to the Clippers' 11th turnover in the game.
54:08Dallas only three.
54:09You love to see that.
54:10Foul line fade away.
54:12Nembhard hits his second basket of the third quarter.
54:15And the disposition of the third quarter is not to the liking of Ty Lue.
54:20The Clippers' head coach calls a timeout.
54:22And the Mavericks with Nembhard with five quick points here in the third quarter.
54:27Pulled back to within two.
54:28Nembhard.
54:29Mavericks basketball on Mavs TV is brought to you by your North Texas Chevy dealers.
54:34We're 13 miles away from Santa Monica Pier at Intuit Dome in Englewood, California.
54:40Clippers 59, Mavericks 57.
54:43Cooper Flag leads Dallas with 21 points.
54:46All scored in the first half.
54:48Most points by Maverick rookies in a first half.
54:51Luka has the record with 28 on a very fun Slovenian Heritage night back in Cleveland in February of 2019.
54:58Roddy B up the left coast in Oakland, as it were then.
55:04Not San Francisco Chase Center, that was at Orville.
55:07March of 2010 had 26.
55:09And Yogi Mania, who can forget that?
55:11Don't forget that.
55:12Don't forget that.
