00:05It seems AIMIM chief Ovesi has filed a complaint seeking criminal action against Hemantabiswa Sarma,
00:13the chief minister of Assam, over this alleged violent video which he believes is targeting the Muslims.
00:20Ovesi has said that Hemantabiswa Sarma has over the years made repeated statements targeting the Muslim community
00:28through social media, print media and public speeches.
00:33He claimed that these statements had intensified in the recent months with the intent to outrage the religious feelings of Muslims
00:40and to promote enmity between religious communities.
00:43He has filed a complaint, a formal criminal complaint against the Assam chief minister at the Hyderabad City Police Commissionerate.
00:52He has charged and made a complaint that accuses Sarma of delivering genocidal hate speech and of inciting communal violence.
01:03Now this is because, as we told you, of the video that was posted by the official handle of Assam BJP
01:11that had shown Hemantabiswa Sarma firing an air rifle at photographs of symbolically Muslim-looking men.

01:27Abdul, can you tell us the details of this complaint that has been made by Ovesi?
01:32Well, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Ovesi has filed a complaint at the Hyderabad City Commissioner of Police, C.V. Satchana.
01:43In the complaint, he has mentioned that the sitting chief minister of Assam, Mr. Hemantabiswa Sarma,
01:49for his deliberate and malicious act of outraging the religious feelings of Muslims,
01:54promoting enmity between two religious communities and making imputation, which are prejudicial, to national integration, is what he mentioned.
02:02Now when this complaint has been filed with the Hyderabad City Commissioner, where Ovesi has demanded action in this particular complaint,
02:11and he has also mentioned that in a recent post on ex-Assam Bhaar Jantrapati, who was taken down a day later,
02:20the post was deleted, is what they are saying, was available on social media,
02:24where Hemantabiswa Sarma portrayed as armed with a fireman, firearm, and targeting it towards persons who are obviously objected as Muslims.
02:33Now this was, you know, there were two persons in the video, which were depicting as Muslims,
02:41and Hemantabiswa Sarma was shooting them, is what he mentioned.
