00:00Well, let's start breaking it down now.
00:01I mean, how do you see this game playing out?
00:04You know, everyone's on Seattle right now.
00:06The money's all over there on Seattle.
00:08How do you see this breaking out here?
00:10Is this going to be high scoring, low scoring?
00:12Who do you think wins the Super Bowl?
00:15All right.
00:15So on game time decisions on Friday, I think it was on Friday with Kevin Walsh,
00:21I said, look, right now my lean would be to Seattle.
00:25They're clearly the better football team.
00:26But as I gathered information over the last 48 hours, I did not realize that so few favorites over the last 20 years of four points or more have covered.
00:36They just don't.
00:37For some reason, and my own line, Dan, was about four, four and a half, and it's now at four and a half.
00:44But so few of them cover.
00:46Don't forget, the Eagles were actually an underdog last year.
00:49They shouldn't have been, but they were an underdog in that blowout win.
00:52So I've gone back and forth on this one.
00:55I do believe it's going to be closer than people think.
00:57I do believe that Seattle will win the game, but it's going to be tighter than I thought with the information I've gathered.
01:04We'll get into breaking it down even more, but I think it's a three or four point game.
01:09And if I happen to be betting on this one, I certainly wouldn't give up the points.
01:14Four and a half is a lot, and this should be a very tight game.
01:17And I heard you before I came on here.
01:19The defenses should dominate this game.
01:20Absolutely.
01:23All right, JSN, how do you think Clint Kubiak uses him?
01:27Because one thing that I've noticed, Adam, they move him all around.
01:30I mean, they move him to the Y, the Z, they put him in the slot.
01:34How do you think he'll be effective against that Patriots defense?
01:38Because, I mean, he is their key to that offense moving.
01:41Not that he's Antonio Brown, who is certainly a borderline Hall of Famer.
01:47Let's leave the off-the-field stuff to the side here.
01:51He's got a little bit of Antonio Brown, and what do I mean by that?
01:55It's based on kind of what you just mentioned.
01:57So, I remember talking to Paul Gunther, the former Raiders defense coordinator, also the Bengals defense coordinator, about Antonio Brown.
02:05He's not the biggest guy in the world.
02:07But you simply, in and out of his breaks, you had no idea where he's going to go.
02:11And that's the thing with JSN.
02:12You just talked about it.
02:14He'll play inside.
02:15He'll play the Z position, which is the move.
02:17A little bit of the X, but he's more of a Z on what your point is.
02:20The Z receiver is called the move receiver.
02:23And he could still win on the outside, but he's much better when they reduce JSN.
02:30It's kind of what Sean McVay does for Pukunuku to win.
02:33Pukunuku is not really an outside receiver.
02:35He might look like he's outside, but McVay reduces him.
02:38He moves him inside right before the snap.
02:40And he is impossible for JSN to cover.
02:43Now, what will the Patriots do?
02:46The question is how much man coverage.
02:48Do they want to single him up?
02:49How are they going to?
02:51I don't think it's quite like this.
02:52Well, if you stop JSN, there's no way that Seattle will win.
02:55I don't necessarily agree with that, but obviously it makes it much tighter.
02:59But they've got to figure out a way just to slow him down.
03:01You're not going to stop JSN, but you have to get physical with him.
03:05He's built well.
03:06He's not the tallest guy in the world, Dan, but you've got to get physical with him.
03:09Why don't teams do that?
03:10You play football at a very high level.
03:13I don't know why they don't do that.
03:15Yeah, I think they're afraid that he's so good out of the break that he's good with his hands.
03:21And he's, like you said, he's not really a big dude, but he's a skilled dude.
03:27And he knows how to get out really off the line of scrimmage.
03:31Well, I think he handles the secondary guys well.
03:34So he's a little more physical than you think.
03:36And I think that really frightens the D coordinators because what they don't want is a pitch and throw.
03:42And so I think they're more concerned about him when he's on the line.
03:45And that's why they put him in the slot.
03:48And honestly, AJ Barnard's a good play, but you're really not worried about anyone else.
03:53And remember, on third down, Zach Charbonnet won't be there.
03:56He tours ACL.
03:57And Kenneth Walker, by the way, has come alive.
04:00It's not like he's going to share the ball now.
04:01Because if you remember, Charbonnet, for people who play fantasy, he was bogarting touchdowns because they would take Walker out within the five.
04:08Because Charbonnet is a bigger back, and Charbonnet is also better in pass protection.
04:12So that is a slight concern of mine, coming into this game, not having Charbonnet.
04:16But when it comes down to it, you don't want to see the Patriots fall far behind.
04:23Because that's when they start pressing.
04:25You know, they're clearly the underdog.
04:27The linesmakers have this line right.
04:29I don't always agree with the linesmakers.
04:30Obviously, they missed badly last year.
04:32Eagles absolutely should not have been an underdog because the matchup favored them.
04:35But in this game, it's absolutely right.
04:38But again, I believe it's going to be closer than people think.
