01:48And Inside Edition's special Super Bowl correspondent's outfit of the day.
01:57Now, Inside Edition with Eva Pilgrim.
02:01Hello and thanks for joining us.
02:02The mystery around the disappearance of Savannah Guthrie's mother deepening.
02:07Investigators saying it was a kidnapping and blood was reportedly found at the scene.
02:12Savannah Guthrie herself took to social media, posting a three-word message.
02:17Bring her home.
02:19Jim Murray is in Tucson with the very latest.
02:23We're learning disturbing new details about the abduction of Savannah Guthrie's mom.
02:28Police found a trail of blood in her driveway and signs of forced entry and a struggle inside her million-dollar home in Tucson, according to published reports.
02:36I spoke with Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos.
02:39In your gut, do you believe Nancy is alive?
02:43You know, I'm never going to give up on that.
02:46I've been at this for a long time, 50 years, and my gut tells me something that, wow, but sometimes I'm wrong, too.
02:55This is Nancy Guthrie's house, where police say she was abducted.
02:58Now, police have been asking for ring camera of neighbors, but when you look around the neighborhood, it's very unlikely that you may find anything.
03:05There are no streetlights, so it's very dark here at night.
03:07And look at the surrounding brush.
03:09You don't see any other homes.
03:11You just see brush and cactus.
03:13This area is very remote.
03:15Eighty-four-year-old Nancy Guthrie was last seen at 9.45 p.m. when she was driven home by Savannah's sister, Ann, after a family dinner.
03:22On Sunday morning, a friend raised the alarm when she didn't turn up at church.
03:26At 11 a.m., family members began searching the house and neighborhood.
03:30They called 911 at around noon.
03:33There's no high blood pressure, pacemaker and cardiac issues.
03:35The pacemaker's monitoring system may provide vital clues.
03:39It syncs to her Apple Watch once a day and last synced at 2 a.m. Sunday.
03:44She has a pacemaker.
03:46Is that something that can tell a doctor remotely if she's still alive?
03:51We don't know that.
03:52Those are questions and things we're looking into and trying to track, but we've been in touch with her medical physician.
03:59We've been in touch with the family.
04:01So far, there have been no known ransom demands from the kidnapper.
04:04Do you think she was specifically targeted because of her daughter?
04:08Nothing's ruled out.
04:10There's nothing to say she's targeted, but that's certainly a possibility.
04:14Savannah's mom appeared on the Today Show several times, most recently last November.
04:19Some people ask me, where are you from?
04:21I'm always proud when I say Tucson, Arizona.
04:24I grew up there, went to college there.
04:26My mom still lives there.
04:27You guys came here.
04:28What made you want to stay in Tucson and at Roots?
04:31I'm so wonderful.
04:32Just the air, the quality of life is played back and gentle.
04:38Did the segment grab the attention of the kidnapper?
04:40It is a cautionary tale for everyone on social media where we want to be out there.
04:45We want to show people our lives and certainly on events like Mother's Day and show off your relatives.
04:49But you don't want to give too much information away.
04:52Savannah posted, please pray on Instagram.
04:54Plus this plea, bring her home.
04:59There has been a huge outpouring for Savannah.
05:02Many of her friends and colleagues supporting her during this difficult time, sending her heartfelt messages on live TV.
05:09There is an outpouring of love and support today for Savannah Guthrie and a call for anyone who knows what happened to her mother to come forward.
05:17If you're watching, if you're listening and you have any information about this case, we urge you to call the Pima County Sheriff's Office, the phone number right there on your screen.
05:26There's this massive call out to everybody if anybody has seen something suspicious.
05:32We're asking if you know what happened to her, please contact police in Tucson.
05:37All three major network morning shows led with the heartbreaking story.
05:41We're going to begin this morning with our hearts.
05:43They were so heavy today.
05:44Thinking about today's show, co-anchor Savannah Guthrie and her family.
05:47Mika Brzezinski fought back tears on Morning Joe.
05:51Unspeakable, the pain that the family must be in right now and we are all praying.
05:56And Savannah's colleagues are responding to her Instagram post asking everyone to please pray.
06:02Her former Today co-host Hoda Kotb says, non-stop prayers, love you my girl, XO.
06:07Fox Sports personality Aaron Andrews commented, praying, adding five heart emojis.
06:13And CBS News senior correspondent Nora O'Donnell said, we are praying with you.
06:17Her Today co-hosts are also praying hard.
06:20I saw that post at Savannah last night.
06:21I hit my knees and prayed.
06:23I don't think I've ever prayed for anything harder in my life.
06:26Savannah's close bond with her mother, Nancy, is evident during her many Today's Show appearances.
06:32My mom and I, I feel like we really click as friends too.
06:36It's just amazing what she's brought to my life.
06:38This video of Savannah talking about losing her dad unexpectedly when she was just a junior in high school is going viral.
06:45Having been out with friends as a teenager, walked in the door and learned that my father had died.
06:51And it was earth shattering.
06:52She says her mom was her rock.
06:54My mom was so strong and set aside her own grief in many ways just to be there and make sure that we could all move forward together.
07:03What Savannah said about her mom two years ago during a Mother's Day segment is more poignant than ever.
07:09I feel like I will always need my mom.
07:13Investigators say they have gotten hundreds of tips.
07:16We, of course, will stay on this story as it develops.
07:19Funny man Jon Stewart made quite the admission on his Comedy Central show last night revealing he's in the Epstein files, but it's not as nefarious as it sounds.
07:30Jon Stewart drops a bombshell.
07:33I am also in the files.
07:36It's true.
07:37His name appears in the latest document dump from the Epstein files.
07:40This is actually true.
07:43The stunned Daily Show host says he's mentioned in an email sent from a Hollywood producer to Jeffrey Epstein suggesting Stewart as the host for a proposed TV special.
07:52Somebody like Jon Stewart could host slash narrate the biographical part.
07:58Excuse me?
08:01I am offended.
08:05Somebody like Jon Stewart?
08:08The show never happened, and Stewart says he never did meet Epstein.
08:15Meanwhile, former CNN anchor Don Lemon is speaking out about his arrest at a Los Angeles hotel.
08:21When I press the elevator button, then all of a sudden I feel myself being jostled, and people trying to grab me and put me in handcuffs.
08:29He tells Jimmy Kimmel he had offered to turn himself in after being indicted for allegedly taking part in an anti-ice protest at a church in Minneapolis.
08:39But the FBI chose to arrest him in public at midnight.
08:43There was a bunch of guys, and they took me outside.
08:45FBI guys were out there.
08:47I mean, it had to be maybe a dozen people.
08:50They want that.
08:51They want to embarrass you.
08:53They want to intimidate you.
08:54They want to instill fear.
08:55And so that's why they did it that way.
08:57Don Lemon is planning to fight the charges.
09:00His lawyer saying the journalist's work in Minneapolis was, quote, constitutionally protected.
09:06Former First Lady Jill Biden got some alarming news today.
09:09Her ex-husband has been charged with murder.
09:12Not long ago, Stephen Fabian sat down with him for an exclusive interview about his life with Jill.
09:18Now, he's accused of killing his current wife.
09:22The ex-husband of former First Lady Jill Biden has been charged with killing his wife.
09:28Former First Lady Jill Biden's ex-husband has been charged with murder.
09:3364-year-old Linda Stevenson, seen here in this exclusive Inside Edition video, was found dead in her living room on December 28th in Delaware.
09:41But after a month-long investigation, police say they found evidence of foul play.
09:46And Stevenson has now been charged with first-degree murder.
09:49Police won't say how his wife was killed.
09:52We spoke to Stevenson in 2020, when Joe Biden was running for president against Donald Trump.
09:58Back then, Stevenson made the blockbuster allegation that the Bidens were not telling the truth when they said they met on a blind date in 1975.
10:06He claims they met three years earlier, while Joe's first wife, Nelia, was alive.
10:11I introduced Joe to Jill in 72.
10:14Jill, Joe, Nelia, and I were in his kitchen.
10:18How do you forget that?
10:20At the time, Jill Biden's spokesperson told us these claims are fictitious.
10:24The relationship of Joe and Jill Biden is well-documented.
10:27They gushed to me about their relationship.
10:30She was sitting across the bar with a common friend, and I said, is that Linda?
10:34And he said, yes.
10:36And from that day on, we've never been apart.
10:38Wow.
10:39Quite a romantic, this guy.
10:41Yeah.
10:41She was like, right?
10:42Yes.
10:42He was persistent.
10:44Yes, very.
10:45William Stevenson's bail has been set at $500,000 cash.
10:49So far, the Bidens have not commented on the arrest.
10:53Excitement is building for Sunday's Super Bowl, and it's not just the game people will be watching.
10:58All eyes will be on the halftime show.
11:01The NFL sparking controversy when it shows Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny, an outspoken critic of the president.
11:07The NFL commissioner says Bad Bunny will be good and stick to entertaining the crowd.
11:14Will Bad Bunny use the Super Bowl halftime show to make a dramatic political statement like he did at the Grammys?
11:21I'm going to say eyes out.
11:26NFL commissioner Roger Goodell says the singer understands his role.
11:31This platform is used to unite people.
11:33I think Bad Bunny understands that, and I think he'll have a great performance.
11:38Today, officials announced ICE agents will not be at the Super Bowl.
11:41There are no planned ICE or immigration enforcement operations that are scheduled around the Super Bowl.
11:49The big game is five days away.
11:51I attended opening night with the Queen of Bama Rush, Inside Edition Special Super Bowl correspondent, Kylan Darnell.
11:58The energy is electric in here.
12:01It's so fun.
12:02Kylan is known for her OOTD, Outfit of the Day TikToks.
12:07We have a Nana Jacqueline little jacket and skirt number.
12:10We've got my mother's gold pantyhose and her nude shoes that she thrifted way back in the day.
12:17Now let's see what the cheerleaders are wearing, starting with the Seahawks squad.
12:22We really love this slit.
12:23It's really iconic.
12:24We love the rhinestones.
12:25We are here with the Patriots cheerleaders, and they obviously have the best OOTD of all game day.
12:32So we have six stars on our shorts, which represent the six Super Bowls that we've won.
12:37Give us an OOTD.
12:38Okay, so for my OOTD for media night, this is a shirt from Zara.
12:43And then we have some leather pants from Ronnie Kobo.
12:46And always my Adidas, because you've got to be comfortable running around chasing after all these players.
12:50I had some fun with the fans of the Seattle Seahawks.
12:54Seahawks!
12:55Seahawks!
12:56Seahawks!
12:56Seahawks!
12:57Woo!
12:59While Kylan cheered with Patriots fans.
13:01Woo!
13:04Media outlets rushed to our social media superstar.
13:07Today to be our first day, I can't wait to see what the rest of the week we have.
13:10Exactly, there's so much more to come.
13:13We'll be back with much more Inside Edition after this.
13:15Next, the husband just convicted in the Nanny Love Triangle trial.
13:21What the dead wife's good friend is telling only Inside Edition.
13:25Hope he never sees the light of day.
13:27And chivalry lives.
13:30Margot Robbie's Wuthering Heights co-star.

15:24I'm Harlan Coben.
15:25I'm known for writing fiction, but now I'm unraveling fact.
15:29911, what is your emergency?
15:31You know all our stories, the same question.
15:33What made the killer cross that line?
15:35Oh my God, I was shocked.
15:37Just when you're sure you know the answer, there's a final twist.
15:40Harlan Coben's final twist is all new CBS Tonight, 8, 7 Central, and streaming on Paramount+.
15:47Guilty of double murder, the former IRS investigator now convicted of killing his wife and a stranger.
15:56Prosecutors say to cover up an affair with his nanny.
15:59Now we're speaking exclusively with a friend of the murdered wife who hopes the killer husband is locked up forever.
16:06Like the rest of the nation, this woman was riveted to the trial of the former IRS agent just convicted of killing his wife.
16:14Guilty of aggravated murder.
16:15But unlike most people, she had a particular interest in the trial's outcome.
16:19She was close friends with the murder victim.
16:22I hope he never sees the light of day.
16:24I really do.
16:25Flight attendant Meredith Sanders says she met the slain wife, Christine Banfield, at a local dog park in Virginia.
16:32They bonded over their pet huskies.
16:34What did you think about Christine when you met her?
16:35What kind of person was she?
16:37Super sweet.
16:38Like the sweetest.
16:39Like, I'm going to cry now just thinking about her.
16:41Just very gentle, kind-hearted.
16:44She told me she found the 911 call that was played at the trial particularly haunting.
16:49Because she could hear the husky howling in the background.
16:52Now we're somewhere for emergency.
16:55What could that howl mean?
16:56That kind of just broke my heart when I heard that howl, because I know that howl from my dogs.
17:04The dog can hear, you know, knew something was going on with her owner.
17:09Brendan Banfield was convicted of stabbing 37-year-old Christine.
17:13Prosecutors say to start a new life with the family nanny.
17:16He was also convicted of shooting to death a man he had lured to the house in an effort to frame him for his wife's murder.
17:23I'm a federal agent. This is my house. There's somebody here. I shot him.
17:27He stabbed her. He's bleeding. He's got...
17:29Do you have anything you would want to say to the man who did this?
17:33You didn't have to do this. You could have divorced. You don't have to murder someone.
17:38Brendan Banfield's sentencing is scheduled for May 8th.
17:42It was a highlight at the Grammys.
17:44Sabrina Carpenter kicking off the show with an airport-themed performance complete with a live dove.
17:50But the bird of peace ended up leaving a little peace for her.
17:56Today, we're learning about Sabrina Carpenter's minor mishap during her dazzling Grammy performance.
18:02Backstage, the pop star jumped up and down, celebrating the opening showstopper.
18:07Then she revealed something about the live white dove that made a special guest appearance.
18:12Yep, nature called for her feathered friend, but Sabrina never let on during her flawless performance.
18:20I know you like it when I tell you what you want.
18:23Justin Bieber made headlines for his stripped-down Grammy performance in his underwear.
18:28Now we're seeing that he wasn't covered up backstage either.
18:31Hey, Bieber, put on some clothes.
18:33And Taylor Swift, who's been a familiar face at past Grammy shows, skips Sunday night.
18:39She's busy planning her wedding and also wasn't eligible for any Grammy nominations this year.
18:44But now we're seeing Taylor still partook in the festivities.
18:48There she is at a Grammy after-party, sipping on a cocktail and rocking her signature red lipstick.
18:54Next up, the Oscars on March 15th.
18:57We'll be back with much more Inside Edition after this.
