01:23of another way of a goal of an AI.
01:26And that's the view of what I
01:28call humanistic AI. And that's
01:30basically saying the reason we should
01:32do AI, and how we should
01:33choose the ethical basis for choosing projects
01:36to do, should be based on
01:37do they help humans meet a human need
01:40primarily?
01:41Do they help humans do things that humans
01:44want to do? And
01:46normally it turns out that
01:48the way AI is used to do that is either
01:50by augmenting the cognition of humans
01:52making us smarter at
01:54scale, or collaborating
01:55with us, adding to our workforce
01:58by helping us.
