00:00The cold air coming this weekend will rival some of the coldest air that we've seen this entire winter, and that is a huge statement given how cold it's been.
00:13Big dip in the jet stream comes south Friday night in Saturday.
00:16High temperatures over the weekend, 15 to 25 degrees below the historical average, and AccuWeather real field temperatures will be below zero in many areas all weekend.
00:30Now, here's the game changer with this cold.
00:34It's just not going to be cold.
00:36We're going to have strong winds Friday night into Saturday.

00:4135 to 45 miles per hour in that lighter pink, the darker pink, is where we could have wind gusts up over 45 to 55 miles per hour.

00:58We're going to have some snow showers, and even where we're not dealing with snow falling,
01:03there's still plenty of snow on the ground across the northeast, and you betcha,
01:09in open areas where the wind blows, you're going to have a lot of blowing snow.
01:15That can create travel delays on the roadways, and don't forget, this wind will cause problems at the airports as well.
01:23So there's going to be travel delays with this.
01:25Take a look at your AccuWeather real field temperatures when you get up Sunday morning.
01:30Anywhere from 10 to 25 degrees below zero.
01:35And just to show you how dangerous that is, when you look at our AccuWeather real field temperature guide here,
