00:23mad. It's starting to twitch. I'm not a huge fan of the design that just feels like it belongs in
00:29a motorhome. Sparring. Not the same. Diana and Gino are confident their minimalist aesthetic scores
00:35maximum points. It is a really beautiful home. I'm really proud of what we built. The open factor,
00:40the classy look is where we can win this competition. Shane and Scott are banking on
00:45their unique side split to pack a punch. I feel pretty confident that we have a good house.
00:51We have great flow. I think we're going to have a good shot at winning this. Ashley and Robert hope

01:23Dissecting their efforts are our judges, ready to pry and poke holes in every nail, chip,
01:29paint, drip, and questionable choice. Real estate agent, Courtney. We were looking at function,
01:34design, and value add. And if something doesn't work, I'll let you know. Design diva, Dree.
01:41For my judging hat, I appreciate the minimalist look, simplicity, and cleanliness. And opinion queen,
01:48Janique. I don't want to be mean because I'm a really sweet person, but keep a theme and stick
01:53to it. Don't mix and match. It's just not going to work. The rules of this competition are simple.
02:00As our judges tour the houses, they'll consider their design, functionality, and value added to
02:06the home. And one house will be crowned the winner. I'm not a fan of this backsplash.

02:19Our style is modern, but it's a little more minimalist. Some of the things that we're really
02:23happy with the house is we did a lot of wainscoting. When you walk in, you get that wow factor.
02:27You just did a feature wall in our bedroom. Yes. Okay, we got one. Can you give me another one?
02:32I wanted the wall to be the color of my coffee in the morning. That's specifically what I told you.

02:46losing. That's definitely just my personality. And then as well, me and Rob, we have agreement
02:52that whoever wins takes the other out for a stake. So it's kind of going to be a fun little thing to
02:55have for sure. Because nothing raises the stakes more than betting your pride on a fancy dinner.
03:00We've been friends with Ashley and Rob for many years. I think it's going to be a tough house to beat,
03:05but I don't want to take away from the work that we've done in this house. It would be nice for that to be
03:09you know, validated. As the judges arrive to settle the bet, Diana and Gino relocate to a secret
03:17location, ready for the hot takes and prepared to serve a few of their own. Wow.
03:23I like how the entryway is so wide. I do like the weighing scouting. I'm a fan. Oh, love that.
03:32It's very clean, chic, sharp. That's what we're going for. Yeah. Oh, beautiful. Nice bathroom. I like
03:39this. Having a powder room downstairs, it's just such a great value. Yeah. Bathroom was all you. Yeah,
03:45that was my work. How do you feel when you're walking into this room? There's a lot of continuity
03:49throughout. It's very warm. I like the two-way fireplace. It's actually really cozy. That is
03:56very unique. I like that it's a dual side, but I think that it blocks a lot of the space to keep
04:02that free flow going. Yeah, I can definitely see that. Okay, interesting. Okay. Sorry to burst your
04:07bubble, but I really like it. There's nothing nicer than a warm fireplace. It feels like a warm hug.
04:13That was very kind. But I get what she's saying, because it does close it off, but we kind of like
04:17that because we get a little bit more separation in an open concept home. Everyone's favorite room,
04:22the kitchen. Yeah. I really like that grand cloth. I think it's great for the space. Yeah. I'm liking
04:29little bits and pieces. I'm liking the coffee bar. They've done a really nice job on the hardware.
04:34Clean cut cabinetry is one of my favorite things that blends in with a wall as well.
04:38But overall, they went very safe on the decor side. There's no wow factor to it for me.
