01:11Texture on the Runway means so much.
01:14Honestly, the first Texture on the Runway that I ever modeled myself
01:17was my first time ever experiencing natural hair on the runway.
01:23I feel like Texture on the Runway is so much more special during Fashion Week
01:28because usually we're not a part of it.
01:31One of the things that I really admire about this show is the way that it brings women together.
01:35Especially this year, it's honoring black women, and I think that's just amazing, you know, because...
01:40The brands really go all out to really take it to a very, very high level.
01:45So I'm really excited for what we're going to see tonight.
01:47Not only is the fashion out of this world and just amazing, but the hair and all of the awesome futuristic styles
01:54that we're going to see tonight is just amazing, and I think it's so good for women like me and you
01:59to actually see this being represented and displayed on such a huge platform.

02:08I just need to know, where have you been, Evelyn?
02:19You know, I've been living my best stay-at-home mom with no kids life.
02:24I've been really in a creative space, you know, just working on creative endeavors like writing, filmmaking, all that stuff.
02:33This event is so dope. I mean, it's an event that any brand wants to align themselves with
02:40because you come into contact with so many beautiful young ladies, so many different creatives.
02:45And it's an opportunity for our brands that we love to connect with us, to show us their true talent,
02:51their creativity, to merge fashion with hair, and I don't think there's any other show that does that.
02:57And I love the fact that there's so many beautiful women that are embracing their natural curls,
03:02their textures, or even if they're adding pieces, or your extensions, weaves, whatever,
03:06but they're still repping, and I think it's a beautiful thing.
03:09And I love supporting women, and I love this event, so I'm happy just to see everyone.
03:14I'm looking forward to seeing which brands will be imaginative and kind of, I don't know,
03:22I want to see who's going to be, like, inventive and innovative and really bring the creativity.
