00:00Being a model, you're in a spotlight. To be a model, you have to look a certain way. So it's very hard. So I'm very happy that I'm here.
00:24When I was in high school, I would straighten it every single day and then I realized that I needed to start embracing my curls.
00:31God gave you the hair type that he thought would look good on your head, so sort of just roll with that and that's what I do.
00:38I definitely would love to see more vloggers, but definitely a lot more natural people.
00:44Be confident, have fun with it.
00:46There's so many people that are natural that actually do wear their natural hair and I feel like it should be represented more so that people can see what's actually true to what's going on in the country.
01:05People have been calling for more texture on the runway since high street fashion and normal fashion week wasn't doing it. We've done it ourselves.
01:13Extremely kinky textured hair is beautiful, is presentable, is classy essentially and so I'm excited that I'm here representing for the kinky textured ladies.
01:28The natural texture movement just keeps growing and growing so it's really great to have a lot of opportunities to do this. It's great.
01:37People like my hair the way it is, so usually I get booked my hair as in.
01:50We don't get to see girls with a big afro, so it feels amazing. It feels good. I could be myself, so I love that.
01:56I love your hair. It makes you different and unique and people love my hair and I love my hair so I keep it the way it is.
