00:00Look at this, just for looking how cute.
00:02Okay, so like I feel nervous, like no pressure cuz you host it.
00:05But you host it last year.
00:06You didn't, thank you.
00:08That's you friend, that's you friend.
00:11What are you wearing?
00:13I don't know.
00:14Okay.
00:15You wear feathers, you're wearing a little yellow moment.
00:18You're wearing feathers.
00:19We love it, hey, we're all giving sleep.
00:20We are? We are, we got the memo.
00:23Yes, the drama's automatic.
00:24Yes, you're in the clip.
00:25So you, ma'am, we are still reeling from the season finale of Euphoria.
00:31What is it like working so closely,
00:33specifically alongside two incredible black women?
00:36Zendaya, who was honored last year, and your on screen mother.
00:40What is it like even in, you know, on a show like Euphoria,
00:42working alongside black women who are powerful and fantastic?
00:46Yeah, I mean, I think I wake up every morning so
00:49grateful to be a part of that show as a whole in the macro sense.
00:52But to be able to work with Z, y'all know, that's my heart.
00:56I've looked up to her since forever.
00:58So to be able to work with a woman that I've looked up to and
01:02who is consistent and powerful and graceful and pours into me,
01:07I couldn't ask for a better big sis.
01:09And then Nicola King, who plays my mom on Euphoria, is incredible as well.
01:13So talented, and she does the same thing.
01:15I feel like we've become a family on set.
01:18So to be able to work with black women on Euphoria, when Euphoria is so
01:23expansive and talks about so many things and covers so
01:26many different circumstances of people.
01:29To be able to focus on a black family that is unfortunately struggling and
01:33Sam does it so well, I think it's a beautiful thing and a blessing.
01:37Girl, and you've played some intense roles.
01:40Tell me how you prepare for
01:42those scenes that are drawing the tears out of the love.
01:45Yeah, I mean, I think it's a thing that's second nature now.
01:49I can just kind of tap into it and do it.
01:51But I do feel season two kind of, it brought me down a little bit.
01:56I'm usually able to do those scenes and
01:58then come back out of it, snap back out of it, go home, go to school,
02:01do what I need to do and not really think about what I've done on set.
02:04Go back to my reality.
02:05Yeah.
02:06But to just be cognizant of those circumstances that we're depicting on screen are
02:12circumstances that a lot of people go through every day.
02:15And that just breaks my heart.
02:17Mm-hm.
02:18So it was hard, but I think it's second nature in a macro scheme of things.
02:22Yeah. Yeah.
02:23Wow.
02:24Well, we are always constantly in awe of you.
02:27Yes.
02:28You are such a powerhouse.
02:29Yes.
02:30We will see you inside for more magic.
02:31You guys just look something.
02:32Us.
02:33Girl, that's you.
02:34That's you.
02:35Sleeve squat.
02:36Sleeve squat.
02:37Sleeve squat.
02:38Bye.
