00:00And as we got to Saturday, I think one of the most difficult things to do for any any professional golfer is to follow up a day in which everything goes your way.
00:09You know, you had a chance to shoot 59 and then you head to the most difficult golf course in this rotation, the stadium, which was averaging right around one or two under par for the week.
00:20But also you get the forecast where they're actually slowing down the greens on Saturday.
00:24So you have to think heading into that day. It's it's like, hey, a forward round of golf would be probably pretty good today.
00:30How difficult was it for you to kind of reset for that Saturday round?
00:34Yeah, I mean, any round following up a 60 is probably a little bit more challenging than it needs to be.
00:41But no, I just I stuck to my game plan and tried to execute the shots that I know I could got off kind of slow.
00:46I think I was maybe one under through 15 or so. And then finally got one to go on 16.
00:51And then I actually seeing you guys and JP on your podcast. That was and that was awesome.
00:58I look over and I go.
00:59Wait, that's JP. And then, you know, we made the putt. So that was that was probably one of the highlights.
01:05And then then 18, you know, sunk that one as well. So.
01:10Yeah, it was a great way to finish the round and and not only how important those putts were for you to the end goal, but also it got you into the final pairing.
01:19And not only did it get to you in the final pairing, but I'm curious, were you watching Scotty Sheffer close out his Saturday round?
01:26Because if he misses, you know, a 35 footer for par, he's in the second to last group.
01:31Did you want him to make the putt on 18 or were you like, I don't really know.
01:36Like, where was your mind at that point? I imagine you wanted to play with Scotty, right?
01:40It's funny you ask that because I was actually doing exactly.
01:43That's what you just said. So I knew that Siwoo was one one ahead of me.
01:49And then I was at 21. And then I knew Scotty was kind of coming up.
01:53And I think he was at 20 and he had a whole 16, 17 and 18, 16.
01:57I mean, it's par five, but it's not the easiest par five in the world.
02:00And then he had like a 15 foot eagle putt. And I'm thinking, you know, this goes in, I'm playing with Scotty.
02:06And so he made birdie and then part 17. And then I put my phone down for a second and go get some, something to eat.
02:12And then I come back and I'm like, okay, yeah, yeah, he's gonna make par.
02:15And I look at where he's at and he's like long, right to a front left or front, right pin.
02:19And I'm like, oh my, no, he's going to make bogey.
02:23And then he hits it to 40 feet and I'm like, oh, and then he makes it.
02:27And I'm like, I'm playing with Scotty Sheffler tomorrow.
02:32So it was, it was really cool to see him roll that in and to know that I was going to play with him today.
