00:13Late night host and the former first lady, featuring a handful of other celebs,
00:17went head-to-head as Team USA and Team UK for an epic dodgeball showdown on the Late Late Show
00:23Monday night.
00:24The hilarious sketch started out with Corden and Obama looking like they were about to
00:27dive into another round of carpool karaoke, but instead got into a heated debate about
00:32Brits vs. Americans and Obama did not hold back when Corden insisted that Brits are in fact
00:38better at sports.
00:39I don't think that's true. And if it is, you have nothing to do with it.
00:46Oof, the shade! After that, it was game on.
00:50The two challenged each other to a game of dodgeball to prove once and for all which country is
00:54better at the sport and let's just say things got heated.
00:57This team is going to eat them for breakfast. For breakfast. The most important meal of the day.
01:07During the epic Late Late Dodgeball championship, the former first lady led an all-star and all-female
01:12American team that included Allison Uncanny Janney, Mila the Killacooness, Melissa Neva Missa McCarthy,
01:19Lena Wildcard Waithe and Kate Hacksaw Hudson.
01:23Meanwhile, Hot Potato Corden assembled his all-male team of Brits, which included Harry
01:27Sign of the Crime Styles, Benedict the Claw Cumberbatch, Game of Thrones star John Hurt You Badly Bradley,
01:33and Late Late Show band leader Reggie Windmill-Watts. Obama had a pretty easy time getting her squad together.
01:40Listen, when Michelle Obama calls and asks you to do anything, you just say yes.
01:46But Corden on the other hand?
01:48When James Corden calls you, you initially ignore the call. Then he keeps calling you.
01:54And then he starts texting saying, hey, house.
01:58The two teams were shown warming up before it's game on. During the first round, Styles was the solo
02:03one standing from Team UK, something he must be used to by now.
02:06Harry Styles gone solo all over again. Obama winds up and right in the 1-D.
02:14The Brits regroup from their loss by having a tea party obviously, but then things heat up in round
02:19two. That is, until Cumberbatch asked Obama to sign a copy of her book for him, which then prompts
02:24all of Team UK to form an autograph line for the former first lady.
02:28Right, the traitors. Absolute traitors, the lot of you.
02:31During the final round, Cumberbatch was the last UK player standing against Kunitz and Hudson,
02:35but after the actresses beat Cumberbatch, Team USA was officially declared the winner,
02:40something Corden tried to forget.
02:42We showed kids that exercise can be fun. That's the big thing, honestly. I can't even remember who won or lost.

02:52Honestly, I have no idea if that's even true.
