As backlash continues to Sean Spicer's controversial appearance on Sunday's Emmys, one CBS late-night host on Monday addressed criticism that he'd gotten too close to the former White House press secretary.

00:12and it's still a hot topic on social media. James Corden is now addressing the backlash
00:16he received for taking a photo kissing Spicer, while a number of stars are slamming the cameo
00:22as a supposed attempt to rehabilitate the former press secretary's reputation and normalize
00:27the Trump administration. Star Trek Discovery actor Jason Isaacs in particular didn't hold back
00:32in a lengthy Instagram post after spotting Spicer at an Emmys afterparty. He described Spicer
00:37as a poisonous purveyor of lies and a modern-day gubbles. He also knocked Spicer's appearance
00:42as short and deeply unattractive, from inside and out, with the aura of a giant festering abscess.
00:48Seth Rogen, Alyssa Milano and Zach Braff were a few of the other politically active stars
00:53who criticized Spicer's Emmys appearance on social media. Braff tweeted,
