00:00Drake May, who is, and again, I don't think unjustly,
00:05the lesser of the two quarterbacks discussion-wise in this game,
00:09because it's like, oh my gosh, Jared Stidham is starting.
00:11But Drake May is a sophomore quarterback
00:17booked as a favorite to go to the Super Bowl.
00:21And if that comes in, no matter how he plays,
00:26he will cement himself as no less than a top five quarterback.
00:33And you can roll your eyes at this if you want.
00:35See, this is, you know, you don't want to talk about playing the fence here.
00:38Drake May can grab best quarterback title in the world.
00:42If you rip off a top two MVP finish and then a Super Bowl MVP,
00:47I would say that's up for grabs, Joe.
00:51What do you expect from Drake May in this game?
00:54I expect Drake May to play, you know, well.
00:58And when we say well, I'm not talking 350 yards, Kev,
01:03and four touchdowns, Matt Stafford-esque.
01:06I'm talking, you know, 200, 225 yards,
01:10lead his team on some scoring drives,
01:13and be in the fourth quarter to potentially win an AFC championship.
01:17I wouldn't expect anything else from this team right now.
01:21They're favored in the matchup.
01:23The expectation is they're supposed to win this game,
01:26even with Jared Stidham, a veteran backup,
01:29and even the Denver defense.
01:31They're supposed to move the football.
01:33And to your point, they did move the football against Houston.
01:37Drake May, you know, made some turnovers,
01:39but he also made some nice looks in the passing attack,
01:42got the football to Pop Douglas,
01:43got the football to Kayshaun Booty,
01:45got it to Stephon Diggs in red zone opportunities.
01:48I expect that to continue.
01:51And, again, I haven't been as high on Drake May
01:55as obviously Caleb now and Jaden Daniels in the draft,
01:59but he is coming into his own.
02:00And if he is able to win this AFC championship,
02:04I mean, he's going to obtain something
02:07that Lamar Jackson right now and Josh Allen haven't.
02:13I'm just saying.
02:14That's a good point.
02:15I mean, because you'll get the pushback
02:18that they're better quarterbacks, and maybe they are.
02:23But if Drake May wins and goes to his first Super Bowl,
02:28Kev, I mean, you can't take that away from him.
02:31I mean, you can look at a game manager.
02:33You can look at it.
02:34He is the leader of that offense.
02:37He's a second-year guy.
02:39And if he is able to pull off this win on the road
02:43in a very difficult environment,
02:45you've got to give Drake May his props.
02:47But I don't think Drake May is a game manager.
02:51I think Drake May...
02:52I'm just saying.
02:52No, no, no.
02:53But my point, Joe, is I understand what you're saying.
02:56What I'm trying to say...
02:57So I think that ties in, actually.
02:59I think Drake May and this Patriots team
03:02are at their best when Drake May looks like
03:04one of the best quarterbacks in the world.
03:06And that is why he has the ability...
03:10He has already now, once this game kicks off,
03:12been to as many AFC Championship games as Lamar Jackson.
03:16Okay?
03:17To your point, right?
03:18So, it is an incredible run.
03:22With that said,
03:24Drake May had one game where he completed
03:27under 60% of his passes in the regular season.
03:30He led the NFL in completion percentage.
03:32It's happened so far in each game of this postseason.
03:34He had one game where he completed...
03:38Where he averaged less than 7 yards per attempt.
03:42It was the first game of the year.
03:45He's already had one such game in the postseason.
03:48He had...
03:49Has now had back-to-back interception games
03:53for what would be the third time this year.
03:56There was only one stretch,
03:57two stretches of that in the regular season.
03:59Drake May has dropped since the playoffs have started.
04:05That's just the reality.
04:07Now, people will say,
04:08but he's playing the Chargers,
04:09he's playing the Texans.
04:11Oh, I'm sorry.
04:12Is there a walk in the park awaiting him today in Denver?
04:15No.
04:16It is arguably the best defense in football
04:19in their own building.
04:20And that, to me, is the difference in this game.
04:23If I am wrong today, okay,
04:25with the bets that I'm placing,
04:27it will be because Drake May was absolutely brilliant, Joe.
04:31I think it's a big ask.
04:33I don't think this New England offensive line is up to the task.
04:37They haven't looked up to the task.
04:38Let's be clear.
04:39They put up 16 on the Chargers.
04:41Unimpressive.
04:42They scored 28 against Houston.
04:44There was a pick six in that game.
04:45So, really, it was 21 for the offense, right?
04:48This is a Broncos team I do not think is set here to give up
04:5320-plus in this game to this Patriots offense.
04:57I bet the under in this game.
04:59By the way, we talk about a lot of the movement that's happened.
05:02So, if you've – I missed out on Denver.
05:05You're getting the best of this under, though, at 43-and-a-half.
