00:41and you're like yeah yeah I think it would have been better if it felt like the Denver maybe the
00:47Denver game will end up being good I don't know I think Denver has a chance I think and and I know
00:52people don't want to hear Denver has a good chance to win the game I'll tell you one thing sick of
00:57these Patriots dude like I can't believe already I can't believe they're back already like you know
01:01it's just no suffering it sucks uh well the the thing that that allowed them to get back sooner
01:10keep in mind they had that one off season where they had more money to spend than anybody
01:16they still do they still do right you see what I'm saying yeah and so rookie QB and so QB it's not
01:24even that it is that that's the biggest expense in sports it is but I'm just saying even without that
01:31they had a boatload of money and they were able to kind of fill those spots and not hope that they
01:41could get those spots filled cheaply you know they got the guys they really thought could do the job and
01:47money was not you're not having money wasn't a a problem so there's that so whether they came back
01:55that quick they you know kind of had the resources to do that the and I only say that because the
02:02Dolphins don't like they first have to cut the fat they first have to maneuver all these contracts and
02:13figure out what to do with the money that the from the guys that they gave it to right the Patriots
02:21didn't have that problem they didn't have issues where oh they overpaid for this guy or they paid for
02:27this guy and he wasn't playing they were at a place where all the money they spent they could
02:33go out and spend it on guys that they really wanted and they didn't have to worry as much about
02:37having to manipulate the salary cap or redo contracts to get that money I get it but it's
02:47still like that's not suffering like you had to do three years of Mac Jones and you were out of jail
02:51like that's it most teams got to go through a little bit more well because most teams first
02:56the first thing they have to do is get the money which means that now they got to make decisions on
03:01current players the Patriots didn't really have to do that when they were getting all this money
03:06nobody when they were getting all this uh salary cap money nobody was talking about oh well this has
03:11got to be a June 1st cut nor it no they didn't have anything they didn't have you know one one or two
03:19of those bad contracts that they had given a lot of money to a guy that now they got to take a cap hit
03:24they didn't have to really take any cap hits when you go through this process in most cases you have
03:30to take cap hits you know from guys you cut after June 1st guys that you you know just cut and cut
03:39bait with kind of like Denver I mean Denver ripped the band-aid off and took the hit what two years ago
03:46yeah so that's more incredible that they got back here than New England because they ripped the
03:54band-aid off and took a what 80 90 million dollar cap hit yeah but they had their rookie QB right
04:00that's the thing you got to find that that's but they got him after that didn't they they got him
04:05after they ripped the band-aid off last year so they got it right they they had rust for a year
04:09it didn't work out right and they ripped the band-aid 70 dropped on him by Mike McDaniel and then the
04:14next year they drafted their new QB right so like yeah so that's kind of you know so I mean if you
04:22look at it that's kind of where the Dolphins are right so but the here's the difference the difference
04:31is is that I want to say Denver had a much higher draft pick so when they were going through all that
04:39they got a high draft pick when did uh well Knicks wasn't a high draft he would I mean he was a first
04:43round pick but he wasn't like a he wasn't one of the top QBs taken okay he was like he was like the
04:49fourth QB right wasn't he yeah it was um there was that was the draft where like McCarthy all them
04:54got taken right and then okay I see what you're saying actually he was the third he was the third
04:59quarterback take oh no Knicks you said Knicks right yeah I think it was the fourth he might
05:03have been fifth he might have been the fifth yeah there was a lot of QBs because I think he traded for
05:06Pennix yeah I think he was in the lower half of that I don't think that was uh the case yeah I
05:11think he was like the 11th quarterback because remember they were all saying like Bo Nix and like
05:15everybody was saying oh Sean Payne he loves Bo Nix he loves Bo Nix he was the fifth quarterback
05:19taken with the 11th pick 12 oh 12th sorry so the Dolphins have the 11th pick
05:24they ain't no quarter they ain't no draft quarterback draft like that none so you ain't
05:29if you picking a quarterback at 11 you reach it yeah this draft right that's what I'm saying
05:35like everybody thought that Sean Payne was reaching and when you look at that that draft
05:44there's a couple quarterbacks that were drafted before Bo Nix that aren't doing all that well
05:49either injured nah the only guy who got taken before him uh well yeah I guess I guess
05:54Pennix you could say Pennix injury uh J.J. McCarthy McCarthy stinks right so he's uh he's he's he's
06:02the other guys the top three guys I mean you know they've been excellent Caleb Williams
06:06Jaden Daniels and Jarek May have all been great this draft's gonna be a Mendoza draft that's it
06:11maybe maybe you like Ty Simpson that's somebody who could who could pop up but I will say I thought

07:26get to any of those secondary issues is first you got to get control of the salary cap first of all you
07:34got to get you know some cap room first you got to figure out who you're going to take the hit for
07:40who you just not gonna sign or or whatever so it might mean that Tyreek Hill oh he's not gonna go
07:48back um they got to figure out what they're gonna do with Tua I'm I know nobody's they don't mention
07:55Tua they did mention Tua yesterday like he that was another thing he kind of put his I they're gonna
08:01end up either trading him or getting rid of him they're not gonna bring him back but they did a good
