00:11childcare for up to 60 children aged 2 to 5. The pub closed last year after being judged
00:17financially unviable. Applicants say there's strong local demand for early years provision,
00:22a view supported by the council's early years team. Planning officers say the scheme will
00:27reuse a vacant building with minimal impact. Plans include installing classrooms, toilets,
00:33a kitchen and secure access points on the ground floor.
00:37The nursery can open from 7 in the morning until half past 6 on weekdays.
