00:00A former restaurant in Aldridge will become a children's nursery after a government inspector
00:06overturned a council refusal. Permission has been granted to convert Simon's restaurant on Chester
00:12Road into a nursery for up to 130 children. Warsaw Council's planning committee had rejected the
00:19scheme over highway safety concerns. The applicant appealed and the inspector ruled there would be
00:26no unacceptable harm to pedestrian or road safety. The council has now been ordered to pay partial
00:32appeal costs after the inspector found unreasonable behaviour in the decision process. The nursery
00:39operator welcomed the decision and plans to proceed following the planning appeal.
