00:11given the go-ahead for the scheme at Oakfield Park School in Ackworth. Two temporary classrooms,
00:17described as outdated, will be demolished and replaced with purpose-built facilities.
00:22The council-maintained school currently caters for 177 secondary and post-16 pupils.
00:30The new buildings are designed for 24 youngsters aged 11 and 12 and include dedicated outdoor play
00:37areas and covered spaces. Planning officers say the Greenbelt development will not harm highways or
00:43drainage.
