00:00We couldn't have honestly asked for it to be any better.
00:02Solid throughout the entire day, the heavy calves at the start of the run,
00:06which were late 300s, 350 to 360, 370 kilos almost, made to 2020.
00:14They were generally around from 550 to 570 or something thereabouts a kilo,
00:19which, to be honest, was right in our target range.
00:23The lighter calves, as the sale went on, they did get deer,
00:26and there's plenty of calves there making mid-sixes too
00:29that have been some of the lightest calves getting close to $7, I would have thought.
00:33So, very solid.
00:35Heifers, up to around $5 thereabouts pretty consistently
00:39for all the decent runs of heifers.
00:41There's been a trend to buy heavy cattle at the moment,
00:43but there hasn't been a lot of heavy cattle.
00:44We've got winter and hot summer we had,
00:46so therefore there wasn't a lot of heavy cattle around.
00:49This year's draft, the cattle could have been 30 or 40 kilos lighter than previous years,
00:53so it definitely had buyers here chasing weight in the steers,
00:56and it was quite successful.
