Sal Capaccio shares a quick health update on Bills DT Ed Oliver
Transcript
00:00Oliver, he, of course, it's the biceps injury that forces him out.
00:04A couple weeks ago, there was a knee scope as well.
00:09Where is he, Sal, in terms of whether it's what the coaches say about him
00:13or what he says about his ability to possibly play?
00:17So he's only listed his bicep on the injury report, but yes, he did have the knee scope, right?
00:21And obviously that's something that maybe who knows, could be also.
00:24But either way, we know that those two things happened.
00:28He says he feels good.
00:29The thing about him, though, is he said yesterday he did the walkthrough and he felt good.
00:34He said, but we'll see where it goes.
00:36He's got to get through today.
00:36Today's more of a full day for these guys.
00:38It's a regular practice.
00:39So a lot will be determined today, guys, how they get through today's practice.
00:42Yesterday was a walkthrough.
00:43That goes for Curtis Samuel.
00:45That goes for Ed Oliver.
00:46The other guys were limited.
00:47Today is a much bigger day.
00:49How they get through today's practice, how they feel.
00:52Ed just really wants, I think one thing about Ed Oliver people have to understand,
00:57he is a football junkie.
00:58He just wants to play football.
00:59He loves football so much.
01:00He wants to be out there.
01:01He just wants to go out there and play.
01:03And if he could play, you know, if you're telling him that you're close to playing,
01:06no, no, no, I'm going out there, right?
01:07Like if it's up to him, he's playing, you know what I mean?
01:09But he's got to get through it.
01:11And he understands what the protocols are for him to kind of be ready and know that he can't
01:14hurt his team either.
01:15He doesn't hurt his team either.
01:15He doesn't hurt his team either.
