00:21following his party's clean sweep of all 15 seats in the Tobago House of Assembly in the elections on Monday.
00:28When he spoke with the media on Monday afternoon in Speyside,
00:32Mr. Augustine was very optimistic when he responded to this question from TV6 News.

00:38Fifteen years.
00:40And a few hours after the voting exercise was completed.
00:44The second time in the last four or five years that we have had a political party with more, with 14 or more seats.
00:55This is the second time in our 45 years that a political party has won all seats.
01:03But this is the first annual, 40 annuals, a political party with more, 15,000 people.
01:12Prime Minister Kamala Poussad-Bissessa, via statement, extended sincere congratulations on behalf of the government of Trinidad and Tobago to Mr. Augustine and the TPP on their decisive and historic victory.

02:13Mr. Augustine was first appointed THA Chief Secretary after the Progressive Democratic Party won 14 of the 15 seats in the THA during the elections in December of 2021.
02:29However, Mr. Augustine and most of the THA Assemblymen left the PDP and formed the TPP.
02:35On Monday night, he thanked PDP founder Watson Duke for endorsing the TPP.
02:41The THA is now without an opposition as the PNM was unable to retain the one seat it had.
02:48The TPP had a message for the PNM's leader.
02:52The young people in Tobago today, they said today, all young people said today,
02:59your pennies are powerless in Tobago.
03:02However, Mr. Augustine said the Tobago, his party represents, includes those who did not vote for the TPP,
03:10as he referenced lyrics from the special guest performer for their victory rally.
03:15And while I say we have plenty of work for all of us to do, tonight, we are allowing you to relax a bit.

03:55Mr. Augustine said that on Thursday, the president is due to arrive in Tobago to swear in the new assembly members,
