00:00More federal agents are on their way to Minneapolis.

00:03The Minnesota city has become the flashpoint for the country's immigration debate

00:07in the wake of the shooting of Renee Good.

00:09Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem says that she's increasing the DHS presence

00:14due to the recent protests and what she called the continued fraud

00:18that necessitated the agents being there in the first place.

00:21Here she is on Fox News Sunday.

00:23There'll be hundreds more in order to allow our ICE and our Border Patrol individuals

00:28that are working in Minneapolis to do so safely.

00:32We're going to continue to, if they conduct violent activities against law enforcement,

00:37if they impede our operations, that's a crime,

00:40and we will hold them accountable to those consequences.

00:43The administration says the surge of boots on the ground in the state

00:46has already netted hundreds of criminal illegal migrants,

00:49at least 10 of whom are accused either of murder or the sexual assault of a child.

00:54Now, none of this has done anything to quiet the loudest voices on the left,

00:59calling for the end of ICE's presence in the area and for more people, not less, to confront agents.

01:05Minneapolis Congresswoman and lefty firebrand Ilhan Omar made this claim on CBS's Face the Nation Sunday.

01:11DHS has lied repeatedly when it comes to these accounts,

01:16so it is even more important for there to be recording from eyewitnesses

01:22every single time these actions are taking place.
