00:00Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem announced Monday that more than 10,000 illegal migrants have
00:05been arrested in Minneapolis since the beginning of President Trump's second term, which incidentally
00:10began exactly one year ago today. She added that 3,000 of those arrests happened in the last
00:15six weeks. Posting on X, the secretary said that those 10,000 who have been arrested were
00:21killing Americans, hurting children, and reigning terror in Minneapolis because Tim
00:26Walls and Jacob Fry refused to protect their own people and instead protect criminals.
00:30She went on to claim that the recent surge is a reaction to what she said was, quote,
00:36at least $19 billion of fraud. That figure is significantly higher than the already very high
00:43$9 billion figure cited by the U.S. attorney about that Somali fraud case. The higher number,
00:49though, was picked up by President Trump, who proceeded to blast Minneapolis Congresswoman
00:53and liberal firebrand Ilhan Omar, who he claimed knows more than she is letting on. He posted
00:59on Truth Social, quote, she should be in jail or even a worse punishment sent back to Somalia.
