00:00This is the first time that you've seen where there's strong mutual interest between the two
00:05parties. I've never seen strong mutual interest. The Phillies will meet with Bo Bichette via Zoom
00:10call on Monday. Why have the Phillies not advanced back to a World Series in the last couple years?
00:15Well, it's for me, it's timely hitting. Timely hitting. Everybody gives the same answer. It's
00:20the number one answer on Family Feud. It's because they don't have the bats that are producing in
00:23crunch time. And those three stars need to hit, but you need more. And if you're talking about
00:28Bichette as your cleanup hitter, and he's not a natural cleanup hitter, he's not like a raw 35
00:32power guy, man, he might be your best hitter on the team. Now, there's also a lot of moving parts
00:38with this. Boone would have to be traded. Where is he playing in the infield? They would also need to
00:43free up some other money, I think, to get it done, because what's he making? Around 30 a year,
00:4830 million a year. Scott's a pretty good second base. Yes, Bichette can play second. He did play
00:53second in the World Series, but limited. Never has he played third base. Scott has. So is that
01:01the easy answer? Because you're exactly right. You have to move Alec Boone to free up that money.
01:06Have to. If you sign Bo Bichette, oh, now we're cooking. You're paying a hundred bucks for a spring
01:11training ticket. Now we're cooking. Look, there will be people out there that will pick the Phillies
01:16over the Dodgers preseason.
