00:00How long do you figure it takes for it to almost sink into everybody on that team that, OK, this
00:07is the new manager and it's going to start feeling like, OK, this is his team?
00:14I think it's already sunk in, you know, the way they went about playing baseball last night was different than
00:23almost anything we've seen this year.
00:24They got five different RBI hits and a sacrifice fly on offense.
00:30So that got my attention.
00:32I know there was the one pop up that dropped in front of Adolos Garcia.
00:36But for the most part, that was a very clean game.
00:40It was a good defensive game, obviously a well-pitched game.
00:44There's a lot of stuff that went on last night that showed me these guys had gotten the memo.
00:51And it's not like I talked to everybody in the clubhouse, but, you know, Trey Turner and Kyle Schwarber are
00:57pretty central figures in that core group.
01:00And they get it.
01:01Believe me, they get it.
01:03They understand what happened here.
01:05They understood what Rob Thompson represented to this franchise, to this run of success.
01:13It's all happened with him as the manager.
01:15And they got that guy fired.
01:18It was intended to be a wake-up call, and I feel like it was.
01:22I mean, we're not going to really know for five months, but it felt like it last night.
