00:00If you want change for the Philadelphia Phillies, which I believe most people do,
00:04the only way to get change is to trade things that have value.
00:10Trey Turner doesn't have value. No one wants his contract.
00:14Aaron Nola's contract isn't tradable.
00:17JT Romuto's contract, probably not tradable.
00:20So who has value on this team?
00:23Well, your pitching staff does, but I wouldn't touch my starters.
00:25You need starting pitching in this league.
00:27Who else on this team has value?
00:30Bryce Harper and Kyle Schwarber.
00:32I love everything Bryce Harper and Kyle Schwarber have done for this team.
00:35Do I want to trade them? No.
00:37But if we want change, they might be the two most valuable assets on this team.
00:43They might be the only contracts that you can move to actually get something back.
00:49So if we want to shake things up, we're going to have to start thinking outside the box,
00:52and you're going to have to make some really tough decisions,
00:55and that might include Schwarber or Harper or both, potentially going away in a trade.
01:00The other guy that has some value, Johan Duran.
01:04He's entering the last year of his contract.
01:05If you're not going to give him an extension, maybe you consider trading him too.
01:09But this is going to be an interesting winner, Ricky Bowe, because I do expect change to happen.
01:14I'm actually demanding change, and I think most fans want change.
01:18If you don't trade the stars, the change is going to come just with what?
01:24All right, we'll replace Alec Boehm.
01:26We'll let him walk in free agency.
01:27Like you said, we'll go fishing in a small pond for an outfielder again.
01:31We still have Turner, Schwarber, Harper, Romuto.
01:34The court needs to be shaken up.
