00:00And let's start with Matt Prater, just because maybe, you know, we're watching a lot of players,
00:04but Prater is one that, you know, not many people do that job, right?
00:07If he's unavailable, I don't know what the plan might be.
00:11They've worked out some kickers.
00:12So what is the latest from Prater, and what happened to him last week, and how things are going for him?
00:17Yeah, well, they've made a move.
00:18They have two kickers now on the roster, just in case.
00:20So Matthew Wright was signed to the practice squad.
00:22So here's the deal, though.
00:24Matt Prater, he said, I was encouraged what he said yesterday.
00:27We met with him after practice.
00:28He did not practice yesterday.
00:30It was a walkthrough.
00:30He was listed as a DNP.
00:32But he said he feels confident that he can get good work in today and then through the rest of the week,
00:37and as long as that happens, he feels good about Sunday.
00:40The reason why I'm encouraged also is he did use the word precautionary when we asked what happened last Sunday.
00:46He said his right quad, which he had been dealing with an injury, had stiffened up on him a bit,
00:50and because of the cold and everything, they decided not to continue to let him kick.
00:53So I think that's kind of good news, because obviously it's going to be warmer in Jacksonville, right?
00:58And then he feels that if he can get through today and he can get through tomorrow, he's on the right track.
01:02The issue, guys, is I think what happens if – and first of all, one thing I'll say is he's got to be very obviously honest with the organization.
01:11The organization's got to be honest with him.
01:12This is where a 44-year-old has to be very, very honest and upfront, which I'm sure he will be, I'm saying, about how he actually feels.
01:19You can't go into Sunday with him thinking, because he's a competitive athlete, I want to play, I want to play, but he's not totally right.
01:25So I think from the Bills' standpoint, what their problem here is, do they actually elevate Matthew Wright on Saturday at 4 p.m.,
01:34even if they feel Matt Prater's going to kick?
01:36Because what if Matt Prater wakes up Sunday morning and it's stiffened up on him again, right?
01:39Then you'd have an option.
01:41What if he gets to pregame warm-ups and something happens?
01:44Now you get to Sunday at 11.30.
01:47If you do elevate Matthew Wright, which maybe they don't, do you actually put him on the 48-man game day roster with two kickers?
01:53I mean, I just think there's a lot here you have to consider.
