Jeremy White and Sneaky Joe DiBiase are joined by Buffalo Bills beat reporter Sal Capaccio to preview the Bills vs Ravens huge matchup on Sunday afternoon as they both look to rise to the top of the AFC. The guys start by discussing the huge trade that went down between the Titans and Bears yesterday, and whether the Bills need to make a move of that magnitude. Then they dive into the matchup this weekend, and discuss who may be healthy enough to play on Sunday.

00:00Mr. Sal Capaccio joining us here, getting ready for Bills-Ravens.
00:05Time to state your case, brought to you by Dan Chacha, Injury Attorneys.
00:08Don't worry, Chacha's got you.
00:09You can give us a call, state your case, who you want the Bills to trade for,
00:12if something.
00:12We have the latest from Albert Breer, suggesting the Bills are in the market
00:16for an upgrade or two on the defensive side of the ball.
00:19Maybe a couple pieces there.
00:20The Bears made a big trade yesterday, and of course, Bills-Ravens,
00:24part of a football Friday and a pizza Friday.
00:26Lots going on.
00:27Sal, good morning.
00:29Good morning, guys.
00:29How are you?
00:30We're good.
00:30We're good.
00:31You know, it's Halloween.
00:33Halloween's a fun holiday, I think, you know, for kids, for adults, too.
00:36It's just, you know, it's whimsical, if I may.
00:39What's Max got in store?
00:42Ooh, so he is one of those inflatable, like, things, like an alien behind him
00:48holding him, so it looks like his feet, you know, like his feet are actually
00:52in the costume, but it looks like he's, like, being held up,
00:56if that makes sense, right?
00:56By an alien?
00:57Yeah, by an alien, yes.
00:59Okay.
01:00Interesting.
01:00So he's not really in the inflatable.
01:03No, no, you wear it, and it makes it look like you're being carried by an alien.
01:06Correct.
01:07Yes.
01:07Correct.
01:07I'll send you a picture, Joey.
01:08That's right.
01:09Yeah.
01:09Those are great costumes.
01:11There's one you can make it where it looks like you're riding an ostrich.
01:14That's a really good one, too.
01:15Exactly.
01:16Okay, I've seen that.
01:16Exactly.
01:16Those kinds of things, where your feet are in the costume, but your head is the other part,
01:21right?
01:22Right.
01:22I have to tell you, I woke up this morning, and I put on, I was put on the YouTube.
01:26Well, I love watching you guys on YouTube, because I just set it down to the side, and
01:28I listen that way.
01:30And I forgot for a brief moment, it was the day to dress up, and I see you guys on
01:34camera.
01:35I'm like, what is happening here?
01:37And in the meantime, it was like all four of you on the same box.
01:41Did you see-
01:42And I was just like, it took me a minute, to be honest with you.
01:46Did you see when I gave Joe a red card?
01:47He got red carded today.
01:48Straight red card.
01:49I'm still here.
01:50It was a great moment.
01:50I'm appealing.
01:51In show history.
01:52We're appealing.
01:52I got yellow cards.
01:53I got red cards.
01:53I'm a referee.
01:54I did not see that.
01:56I want to know, though, Joe, which version of Top Gun are you?
02:00Which version of Tom Cruise are you?
02:04Like, what age?
02:05The original.
02:06Which one?
02:07I think it's got to be the original.
02:08I mean, I would be closer to age in him.
02:09I mean, I do feel like I've had a couple texts.
02:11Like, you look more like Goose than Maverick.
02:13Oh, you do.
02:14I can see that.
02:15Yeah.
02:16I don't know.
02:16For sure.
02:16I'm too tall to be Tom Cruise.
02:19I do think, Sal, the red card was, I've got an appeal coming, but it was the line
02:26that would get red carded on this show ever because I said the line.
02:29Think of him like a receiver for a tight end.
02:31You get red carded.
02:32You say that to me, Sal.
02:33That's not going to fly.
02:35Anyway.
02:37Because I'm home in Studio Capaccio, I could also be Tom Cruise from Risky Business.
02:40But that's a story for another day.
02:42There you go.
02:43When I can put that on video.
02:45Sal, let's talk trade ideas.
02:46Just because a big trade in the NFL yesterday.
02:49Two first-round picks for Jeffrey Simmons.
02:51A big needle mover in the league.
02:53A team like Chicago that's kind of going for it.
02:55And, of course, I think Bills fans would expect the Bills to make some trades.
03:00I teased going to the break two names.
03:01I'm just going to put these names out there because I've seen them mentioned.
03:04And Chris Trapasso just had this one as well.
03:06The Eagles have a young defensive tackle named Mauro Ajomo.
03:11Albert Breer says the Eagles have gotten calls on him.
03:13I saw a writer for the Athletics say the Bills should target this player.
03:17That's a defensive tackle if they wanted help there.
03:19Amani Hooker is a tight end safety.
03:22Maybe they're getting calls on him now that they've traded Jeffrey Simmons.
03:24So, you know, the Bills could, of course, make their moves, make their upgrades.
03:30Here we sit, you know, like 10 days out.
03:32Do you expect that there will be activity by the time we get to the deadline to help the Bills
03:37on defense?
03:39Yeah, I think they almost have to, given the situation they're in.
03:44You know, it's always a weird thing to say, expect, right?
03:46I mean, I don't know.
03:49Yes, I think they'll try.
03:50I don't know.
03:51And I know that everybody wants it to get over the finish line.
03:54So, they'll be, I think, that is right, that they would be in the market for helping the defensive side
03:58of the ball.
03:59They're the number one scoring offense in the league, but defensively it hasn't gone particularly great.
04:03And they need not only to upgrade and fix, but also think about reliability going forward.
04:10And one thing that I'm thinking about is how reliable is C.J. Garner-Johnson going forward?
04:15Like, I mean, you know, he's out this week, obviously, with the suspension.
04:18He's been on the brink of getting penalties.
04:19Are you comfortable with having him as your starting safety next to Cole Bishop?
04:24Because if not, and he's not available for whatever reason, then you get to DeMar Hamlin.
04:28And as I've said, good floor player, good backup, but that's your starting safety for the rest of the year.
04:32I think you want better than that.
04:34So, to me, you need to upgrade at that spot.
04:38Now, defensive tackle is interesting to me.
04:40Unless you believe Ed Oliver, you know, again, reliability.
04:42If you're not going to be relying on Ed Oliver and think that that's kind of dicey, then I understand
04:48it.
04:48But I don't think that's an area that they really lack this year.
04:51They've been very good against the run.
04:52They have good talent there.
04:53Deion Walker, to me, is playing like an all-pro.
04:56I mean, Dwayne Carter's been very good.
04:59And you add Ed Oliver to the mix, if he's healthy, I just don't think that's an area where you
05:02have to upgrade, necessarily, and put your chips.
05:05But sure, they could maybe kind of figure out how they want to play a little bit differently to help
05:10out the back end, and that could happen.
05:11So, that being said, yesterday's trade, I know you saw the tweet I put out, and Joe Marino both did,
05:16about the two first-round picks.
05:18And it's amazing to me, when you look at the multiple first-round picks that have ever been traded,
05:23never before in the history of this league has it been for an interior defensive lineman.
05:26This is the first time.
05:27It's always either a quarterback, an edge rusher, a tackle, a wide receiver, I think, right?
05:32So, like, that's a very hefty price to pay for that particular position.
05:38But the Bears believe they're ready to win a Super Bowl, and they want to do it now.
05:43And Caleb Williams' rookie contract, it allows them to do a little bit more around the roster,
05:48where I think it gets exponentially harder each year they go after they try to pay him, after they have
05:53to pay him.
05:54Yeah, maybe. It's funny, like, as you mentioned that position, that's the Bengals for Dexter Lawrence.
05:58Like, interior defensive linemen, I think that they have seen, especially the guys at the very top,
06:04in the way that they can be game-wreckers, not if they stuff the run, but if they get after
06:08the quarterback, right?
06:09An interior lineman that gets after the quarterback, that's Lawrence, that's Jeffrey Simmons here.
06:13That's what makes Deion Walker so exciting for the Bills, Sal, is that it's not just that they're stopping the
06:18run,
06:19he's plugging gaps, that's not it. He is terrorizing quarterbacks, and edge rushers for the longest time
06:26got all the attention to get after the quarterback, but now collapsing pockets from right down the middle
06:30seems to be, I don't want to say a trend in the league, but it's definitely something that has grown
06:34in value.
06:36Yeah, and look, I think they probably paid a bit of a tax here on the trade
06:41because he is under contract for a while, right, Jefferson?
06:44$150 million.
06:46Right, so they're getting a player that they probably paid extra because it's not a rental, right,
06:52if that makes sense.
06:53Yeah.
06:53Like, that's probably what happened in this situation.
06:55Generally, these types of players don't get traded when they're rentals, when they're on expiring contracts.
07:00That's not what happened here, so that's probably why they had to pay a little extra.
07:02Now, that said, first of all, Jeffrey Simmons is a great player.
07:05He's a great player.
07:06He's also going to be 30 years old as a defensive tackle, and I'm not saying he can't play longer.
07:09He can, but every year it goes on, they've got to pay him.
07:13Next year, his cap number, his base salary is $21.4 million.
07:17After this year, they also have to pay Caleb Williams, and again, no first-round pick.
07:21It just gets a little bit harder to be able to navigate the roster once you start having to do
07:25these things, right?
07:26So I just think that's why they probably had to strike now, try to do this.
07:29They believe they're in a position to win a Super Bowl, and I think it's fascinating around the league
07:34to see teams, A, who are taking on these deals, and B, teams that are saying,
07:40we kind of know who we are, Indianapolis Colts, Tennessee Titans, and saying,
07:44we're going to offload some of these players now.
07:46Yeah.
07:46The Bears, the other thing, Sal, with all that money being included,
07:50like $100-plus million left on the deal,
07:53they clearly are viewing this as a long-term solution, too.
07:57There are defensive tackles that go late into their 30s.
08:00They're not paying that price if they think this is one or two years.
08:03So there's that part, and then clearly they think,
08:07and I think they're right in thinking this enough,
08:08that they are a good enough team that they're not worried about being embarrassed
08:14by those picks ending up really high, because that's what would make a trade look even worse.
08:18When the Broncos trade two-first for Russell Wilson,
08:21and both picks end up being in the top ten, and that's where I wonder about...
08:25Look what the Colts last year, Joe, not to interrupt you,
08:27look what the Colts did last year.
08:28Right, and that pick's probably going to be in the top ten, right?
08:31The way it's trending now.
08:32Where if you're the Bills, and I don't think there's a player out there
08:36that makes sense that would cost two first-round picks,
08:39but isn't it easier for them, and teams like maybe the Bears,
08:45but the Bills especially, to look at a price that costs a first or a second and know,
08:51like we're almost always going to be at the end of that round,
08:54so this pick is not as valuable, and it's hard to part with.
08:59Well, let me ask you this.
09:03Because you're right, if you're the Bills, but if you came to me,
09:06I'm in the other team, aren't I going to say the same thing?
09:08Well, I need more from you, because it's going to be at the end of the round.
09:11Right.
09:12Right, like, I mean, yeah, it's easy to say,
09:14if you're the Bills, you're more willing to give up a first-round pick,
09:17because it's later.
09:17But if I'm the team taking on the trade,
09:20I'm going to want something more than that,
09:22because your pick is going to be later.
09:24Right?
09:24I mean, there's, it does, I know, I know.
09:27Brayden Bean says it, or Kevin Adams says it,
09:29or Jarmo Kekalainen says it.
09:31People don't want to hear it.
09:32It takes two to make a deal.
09:33It is true, because that is a true component of what you're saying.
09:36And it's just like, I wanted to correct something I said about a trade.
09:40This dovetails into this.
09:41So let's just say the same thing when it comes to
09:43how many people have you heard, and you guys, we've talked about it.
09:46Like, trade Joshua Palmer, you know, you can offload some money.
09:50You can save some money.
09:52Well, two things about that.
09:53Number one, okay, if you were to trade him, for example,
09:56the team taking him on would still have to pay,
09:59I'm going to say roughly half.
10:00There's about 60% of the season left to write the trade deadline.
10:02Every week matters here, guys, okay?
10:04Yep.
10:04So let's just say half the season goes by.
10:06That's, you know, the team taking him on
10:08would have to take on half his base salary remaining.
10:10So that would be close to $10 million.
10:11That's about $10 million.
10:12That's $5 million.
10:14The team taking him would have to pay $5 million.
10:16And if you're trading him to a team that's not a contender,
10:20they're like, why would we do that?
10:21We don't really need to do that.
10:22We're not really taking on extra cash.
10:24We're offloading players.
10:25The thing that does happen, though, here is,
10:27and this is what I want to correct to make sure,
10:29because I poked into it yesterday a little bit more
10:30to make sure I said it right.
10:33Whatever's left on the prorated signing bonus
10:35of the deal he signed gets accelerated to next year's cap.
10:40So for the bills, you actually wouldn't have to pay
10:41any more on a cap this year.
10:43For example, for Joshua Palmer, that would be $1.6 million
10:46over the next three years.
10:48That's $4.3 million total that would go on next year's dead cap.
10:52Next year's dead cap.
10:53Not this year's, just so everybody knows.
10:55But the team taking him on, to your point, Joe,
10:58would have to pay him about $5 million in cash.
11:01And as Jeremy probably rightfully points out,
11:03you could also give that team a little extra to say,
11:05just take it on for us.
11:06I know, I get it.
11:07You could do that.
11:07But I do think a team you're dealing with would be like,
11:11I don't want to do that.
11:12Well, why would I do that?
11:13Right.
11:14Right.
11:14I mean, the bills hopefully have learned a lesson about these
11:17like middle-class wide receiver contracts
11:19and trying to sell another team on taking one.
11:21Like, why would we do that?
11:22Even if it's half the price.
11:24So anyway, is that like one quick thing?
11:27Follow up on the bears.
11:27Like you'd mentioned.
11:28Yeah.
11:28And again, I think it's important to point out,
11:31there are bills fans that are going to be hungry for a trade
11:33and hungry for an aggressive move.
11:35I'm not one sitting here saying the bills.
11:37I don't even know who it would be.
11:39I don't have right now the aggressive move.
11:41I think what we should be talking about is,
11:43you know, a linebacker or a safety that wouldn't cost first round picks.
11:46But for your point on the bears,
11:48their cap space that they have,
11:50they just picked up Jeffrey Simmons in 2028.
11:54So two years from now,
11:55the bears have $200 million in cap space.
12:00It's like all of it.
12:01Pretty much.
12:01The bears have, it's, it's the full number is 197 million in two years.
12:08The bills in two years have four and a half.
12:14Nope.
12:14Sorry.
12:15Seven.
12:17So they absolutely will have to pay Kayla Williams,
12:20but they have 200 million in cap space.
12:23So to me, that's one of those spots where, yes,
12:26this will look like a win now move,
12:29but it really is just a team building move to go out,
12:32to go out and get a great player and say,
12:34let's give up two first round picks and get a defensive tackle.
12:36That's going to now anchor our defense or be like a piece to build around.
12:40Again,
12:40I don't really think it was like a bills level move that we should be talking
12:43about.
12:43I didn't look at that list,
12:44Sal,
12:44but I would wonder like,
12:46this is kind of the bears move,
12:47isn't it?
12:47This is Tua when the dolphins went all in.
12:50Like you see,
12:51probably see these moves more often when your quarterback is on a rookie deal.
12:54So.
12:55Oh,
12:55that's what I mean.
12:56So to Jeremy's point,
12:57that's correct.
12:58Right?
12:58Like they,
12:58they can,
12:59they can plan a little more in the future and be able to make this deal
13:01because of that.
13:02Jeremy,
13:02you're right about that.
13:03But every year,
13:04like,
13:05let's just say they,
13:06let's just say,
13:06let's advance it a year from now.
13:08And then they did pay Caleb Williams.
13:09Right.
13:09Yeah.
13:10It makes it harder to make this deal because you have to navigate the roster
13:13differently beyond that.
13:14Right.
13:14No doubt.
13:14Of when it makes it harder.
13:16What you're getting at is when you can acquire him because correct.
13:20Right.
13:20That's the difference.
13:21Cause right now his contract is such that the cap hit is big right now and
13:25you need to fit it in right away.
13:27You can't go over and then restructure.
13:29So yeah,
13:29to that point,
13:30cause they could restructure him.
13:31There's no doubt they could do that.
13:32And they could figure it out.
13:32And the bills have done that as well.
13:34And all teams do that.
13:34But when you acquire the player,
13:36that's exactly the right point.
13:37Now is the time for a team like the bears to be able to do that.
13:40They probably can't,
13:41they could maybe acquire the player,
13:42but it's going to be a much,
13:44much higher opportunity cost for them.
13:47I think beyond this year to be able to acquire the player.
13:49Let's get to the Barnes firm injury report brought to you by the Barnes
13:51firm.
13:52If you've been injured in a crash,
13:53call the Barnes firm 1-800-8 million.
13:56Sal,
13:56what kind of progress did we see from yesterday?
13:59I should say from Wednesday to Thursday at practice and on the injury
14:02report.
14:04Well,
14:04some good news and some bad news.
14:06The good news is it appears that DJ Moore and at Oliver are trending in the
14:12right direction as far as being able to play and coming back.
14:15And obviously that's good news.
14:16I mean,
14:16bills have missed both those guys for about a month now.
14:19So that's good news.
14:20Now that said,
14:21just let me make sure limited still for DJ Moore,
14:23but full for at Oliver.
14:25But even though DJ Moore has been limited,
14:27I think it's looking good.
14:28It's sounding good.
14:30We know he wants to get out there and play.
14:31So we'll see.
14:32We'll get a little bit more clarity today from Joe Brady.
14:35The bad news is Spencer Brown has not practiced this week.
14:39And you guys,
14:39you played the clip,
14:40you know what he said about,
14:41you know,
14:41his back and having to deal with that a little bit.
14:44But he also said,
14:44you know,
14:44he's the kind of player.
14:45He talked with Joe Brady.
14:46He could not practice all week and play on Sunday and be good to go.
14:49So we'll see.
14:50I,
14:50I wouldn't close the door at all on Spencer Brown.
14:51If he doesn't practice today,
14:52I wouldn't close the door on him.
14:53But obviously if every,
14:54as every day goes,
14:55you get a little bit more like,
14:56ah,
14:57what's that look like?
14:57And then the one that I'm concerned about guys is D Alford.
15:01D Alford was not anyone we thought of being injured.
15:03And then he was limited on Wednesday and did not practice yesterday.
15:07Did he get it hurt at practice on Wednesday?
15:09Because if he did and it's anything significant,
15:11they're already down.
15:13Obviously CJ Gardner Johnson.
15:15Now you're facing Zay Flowers.
15:17Are you down?
15:17You're starting nickel and you don't have Jordan Hancock to come in and help out.
15:21So I think that's just a bit of a little dicey there.
15:24Dalton Kincaid chest limited along with Bradley Chubb chest and thumb limited.
15:29Both those players hurt their ribs slash chest in the last game.
15:33They both left.
15:34They both came back briefly.
15:35They are wearing red non-contact jerseys.
15:38I feel like guys,
15:39just from my ex mentions,
15:40to be honest with you,
15:41I feel like we should have a discussion about what a red non-contact jersey means,
15:45because I think what happens is a lot of times people see the video and I see this.
15:50I post,
15:50I post video from practice,
15:52Dalton Kincaid,
15:52red non-contact,
15:53especially with him,
15:54but maybe it could be DJ more Bradley Chubb.
15:56And there's a,
15:58a large part of the fan base that I hear from that immediately thinks,
16:02Oh my God,
16:02he's hurt again.
16:03And I can't believe it.
16:04He's not,
16:04that does it.
16:05That means he's not playing.
16:06Look,
16:06red non-contact is just,
16:07it's a,
16:08let's make sure we don't get this person anymore injured by someone doing something dumb around them.
16:14It's also,
16:15by the way,
16:15not a contact practice.
16:17So really everybody's not in contact,
16:18to be honest with you.
16:19You know what I mean?
16:19Like they're not going out and hitting each other.
16:22That also tells the coaching staff too.
16:24If there's a certain drill where this guy's got an issue,
16:26just know,
16:27like don't be firing balls at his chest.
16:29You know what I mean?
16:30Like when you're,
16:31when you have a chest injury,
16:32just little things like that.
16:33I spoke with Dalton after practice yesterday,
16:35he said,
16:36he's feeling really good.
16:37He said the bi-week did him really,
16:38really well.
16:39So hopefully he's ready to go.
16:40Right.
16:40But you got to get these guys through the week.
16:42Bradley Chubb's in the same boat right there.
16:43DJ Moore's in the same boat.
16:44So hopefully those guys are all,
16:46you know,
16:46ready to go.
16:46So Sal real quick to follow up on Alford when he missed the Ram game,
16:51it was a combination of Anthony Kendall and DeMar Hamlin that filled in
16:56there.
16:56Hamlin we think is going to be in for Gardner Johnson and Kendall's no
16:59longer here.
17:00So what,
17:00what would that look like this week?
17:03Okay.
17:03So I would guess Joe,
17:04if he can't go,
17:05you're elevating to Corey couch to Corey couch can play nickel.
17:09He can play,
17:10he can play everything.
17:10He's,
17:11he's your Jack of all trades guy this year.
17:14And he was on the practice squad.
17:15And is that a guy you want out there full-time covering Zay flowers?
17:18Probably not,
17:19but at least he gives you somebody who has flexibility to be able to play the
17:22nickel spot.
17:23You could also put jail and Kilgore in the box more.
17:25You could also put,
17:26you could also play three linebackers more.
17:28Right.
17:28So I think Joe,
17:29it would be based on personnel,
17:30but,
17:31but player wise,
17:33you're probably looking at to Corey couch being elevated.
17:35If D Alford,
17:36it indeed has some sort of injury where he can't go.
17:39And then the other thing I'm wondering about,
17:41like there's a second day in a row that Spencer Brown is not out there.
17:44And I like,
17:45he is,
17:46you know,
17:47tough as nails.
17:48Like he talks about that all the time,
17:49like playing through stuff.
17:50And he has the,
17:52the year before he really broke out.
17:55So I remember part of his struggles being explained away by,
17:59he was dealing with the back.
18:01And I guess I've just,
18:03you know,
18:03it's a thought I have in the back of my mind,
18:05like not whether or not he'll be out there,
18:07but what version of him will get,
18:09if his back is going to be a problem.
18:11I think it's concerning considering he had some back issues and this is
18:16happening now.
18:17I'll take him at his word,
18:18which says,
18:19look,
18:19if I'm out there,
18:20I'm there's no excuses.
18:21I'm playing and I'm ready to go.
18:22And you know,
18:23that's the way he looks at it.
18:25These issues,
18:26these injuries,
18:26this is not like a high ankle sprain where you just know the guy,
18:30you know,
18:31Mike had a good conversation with his guest yesterday about Travion
18:33Henderson,
18:34which is dealing with a high ankle sprain.
18:36They still put them out on the field.
18:37Like,
18:37you know,
18:37you know,
18:38you're not going to get the full guy,
18:39right?
18:39I mean,
18:39he's that's what his game is based on,
18:41right?
18:42These back issues for these guys,
18:43especially like a guy like Spencer Brown is a bigger guy like that.
18:46You just never know,
18:47Joe.
18:47I think that's the tricky part,
18:48which is he could be some,
18:50it could be something he's dealing with all season.
18:52It could be something that's just on and off again.
18:54He also could be totally fine by Sunday and we don't hear about it
18:57again.
18:58Right?
18:58Like that,
18:58that's what concerns me.
18:59I don't know.
19:00Like that,
19:01that that's the type of issue that something could just flare up.
19:05It could be fine.
19:06It's not fine.
19:06It's on again.
19:07It's off again.
19:07It's not a high ankle sprain.
19:08It's not dealing with an elbow injury where you had to put a brace on.
19:11You know,
19:11there's a timeline on it.
19:12You're going to be better.
19:13You're going to be fine.
19:14That thing can be at any point or at no point.
19:18And I think that's,
19:18what's concerning.
19:19So what happens if he doesn't play a Tylan Grable would be the guy to
19:23come in.
19:23And remember when Tylan Grable came in from in LA,
19:25they ran two plays.
19:26They scored on one.
19:27So that first drive with,
19:29with James Cook.
19:30So I think,
19:31you know,
19:31they'd be confident.
19:32Of course,
19:33you'd love to have Spencer Brown,
19:34but it's a good point,
19:34Joe.
19:34And I just,
19:35I think it's just something you have to kind of every week,
19:38see where he's at now.
19:39So Capaccio.
19:40So last thing I want to mention to you here,
19:42the,
19:43to me,
19:44an underrated storyline in this game is the change in the bills defense
19:47against Lamar.
19:48They've done a good job against Lamar bills fans.
19:51I think got pretty comfortable with the idea that Lamar wouldn't beat this
19:54team and doesn't have his best games against the bills,
19:56but that was the defense that they had before.
19:58Now they have a different defense.
20:00Maybe they can have success in a different way.
20:02Maybe they can wreak havoc,
20:03whatever,
20:04but that,
20:04that consistency,
20:05that's a security blanket of a Sean McDermott defense.
20:07It didn't always have the most warm security blanket,
20:10but against the Ravens,
20:12it pretty much seemed to.
20:14Yeah.
20:14And listen,
20:15this year,
20:16as opposed to years in the past,
20:18the bills have been very good against running backs,
20:20but quarterbacks have actually gotten loose on them.
20:22Now it's not been a lot of running,
20:23but CJ Stroud had some moments.
20:26Drake may had some moments.
20:28That's why you get a little worried about Lamar.
20:30This might be more about where Lamar is with his health chair.
20:32Like,
20:33is he able to do Lamar Jackson type things or is his ankle to the point where
20:39they're going to just kind of,
20:40Hey,
20:41we're going to have you hand off and say in the pocket.
20:43And you really don't run unless you have to run.
20:45And obviously that would help the bills to have to contain him on this game.
20:50If the bills continue what they've been doing against running backs,
20:52they should be able to slow down.
20:53Derek Henry.
20:54He's only averaging 3.9 yards a carry.
20:55The bills have only given up 3.6 yards a carry to running backs this year.
20:58It's a great number.
21:00But I think Lamar Jackson's a different deal.
21:03If he is full Lamar.
21:05Yeah.
21:05You're going to have to really deal with him.
21:06And I think that's something that the bills,
21:08I'm interested to see how they approach that this week.
21:12So Capaccio ahead of bills and Ravens and you're on location today.
21:16Where's your plan?
21:17You going to North town?
