00:00The PNP's comprehensive security and crowd management plan of action goes into effect tomorrow

00:05with 18,000 cops deployed in and about the procession route and elsewhere

00:09to provide security and protection against thieves, pickpockets, scammers and even devotees behaving badly.

00:16For good measure, a ban on liquor and firearms, which simultaneously went into effect earlier,

00:21will strictly be enforced, as Arad Lagosad adds more details in the story.

00:26The Philippine National Police or PNP will implement a comprehensive security and crowd management plan

00:34for the Traslastron 2026.

00:36Among those that will be closely monitored by the PNP are criminals who may take advantage of the activity,

00:41particularly those who may attempt to sell and use illegal drugs.

01:29The PNP will also implement maximum tolerance against unruly devotees,

01:37At least 18,000 police personnel will be deployed to ensure the security of the procession.

01:50This includes operatives in civilian, Atari, and intelligence units to prevent incidents of pickpocketing,

01:56theft, scams, and other forms of exploitation and criminality during the pahalik.

02:00In addition, police assistants and dedicated personnel have also been deployed to help senior citizens,

02:06persons with disabilities, women, and children.

02:08As of now, the NCRPO is on full alert status.
