00:00:00Another country for a pirate.
00:00:02I'm leaving a six-figure job with my mom to move to Aruba,
00:00:06which is obviously insane.
00:00:08You are leaving your life here for him,
00:00:11and he's not even faithful to you.
00:00:14Whether it's my insanity or the fact that I'm delusional,
00:00:20I'm going through with it.
00:00:23No, no.
00:00:30No haircut.
00:00:31After 15 years of being together,
00:00:34his parents have finally accepted our relationship.
00:00:38Baby, let's pack.
00:00:40But we are in financial crisis right now,
00:00:43and we decide to move in with the family.
00:00:47My rum.
00:00:50Why is your mom going through my stuff?
00:00:53Like, what the hell?
00:00:56Is this good?
00:00:57What are we going to do with you?
00:01:00You're going to marry me.
00:01:02I know.
00:01:03We're getting married in three weeks,
00:01:05but I'm in a lot of debt.
00:01:07I'm trying to get this wedding done,
00:01:09and then I'm trying to do the hotel.
00:01:12See, that's where you're going wrong.
00:01:13Yeah, I mean, I know.
00:01:14But he's got debt to pay.
00:01:16He's got hotels to build.
00:01:18Everything's like a knee-jerk reaction for you.
00:01:20The main thing you've got to worry about is not the business,
00:01:23not the hotels.
00:01:24It's Madeline.
00:01:27Love that.
00:01:28Looking good.
00:01:29With Manon working and me taking care of Ben,
00:01:32there have been a lot of days where we were at each other's throats.
00:01:36I feel like I'm a mom.
00:01:38I just can't.
00:01:38The American dream is actually kidding me,
00:01:41and I need to let it go.
00:01:43We're going to move to France.
00:01:45Shut the front door.
00:01:46I just hope it's not a Band-Aid for a ball.
00:01:49I don't think so.
00:01:50Manon, when you talked to me and you said
00:01:52sometimes being with your brother makes me feel like I want to die inside.
00:01:55Yeah, you're going to piss me off, Sarah, right now, because, like...
00:01:57Sarah, let it go.
00:01:58I may have said to you how it was called.
00:02:00Do not speak over me right now.
00:02:01Okay, get out of my house.
00:02:03Okay.
00:02:03Daddy, I'm done.
00:02:05I'm done.
00:02:31What are we going to do with all the shoes we have?
00:02:41Five big bags of shoes.
00:02:44Really?
00:02:45Five big bags.
00:02:47Mama.
00:02:48Yeah, good.
00:02:49Mama, mama.
00:02:50Thank God.
00:02:54Oh, my God.
00:02:55Wow.
00:02:57Did I lay on your finger?
00:02:59Yeah.
00:02:59Okay.
00:03:00Oh, that's what you get for making me come here.
00:03:03Live here.
00:03:04I'm sorry.
00:03:05I'm sorry.
00:03:06It's our first night living in the house with Smith's family,
00:03:10and I'm already feeling like it's a bad idea
00:03:13because they're going through all my stuff.
00:03:15They find my alcohol, and I feel like I'm a child, and I'm not.
00:03:20I'm a grown lady.
00:03:25Sri?
00:03:26So what I need is two pans.
00:03:28I need a big one for the noodles, and then a smaller pan for the sauce.
00:03:33Okay, I'll give you.
00:03:34Right now, I'm just trying to be on my best behavior and just deal with it.
00:03:38And so since it's the women's duty to cook, I've offered to cook dinner for everyone tonight.
00:03:48This would be good for the sauce.
00:03:51Would this be sufficient for the spaghettis?
00:03:52Nice and big for the spaghetti.
00:03:54Spaghettis.
00:04:04Spaghettis.
00:04:06Wow.
00:04:07I hope you like it.
00:04:09The only thing I know how to cook is spaghetti.
00:04:13I hope this is going to be enough for everybody.
00:04:23Whoa.
00:04:24It's like magic, huh?
00:04:25Yes.
00:04:26Putting sauce and, like, noodles together, it's not called cooking.
00:04:29Okay, but in America, my spaghetti is a hit, okay?
00:04:35Ask my daughters.
00:04:36They'll tell you.
00:04:41I'm going to have to keep stirring it so they don't stick together.
00:04:45It's a crowd pleaser.
00:04:47I think everybody will like it.
00:04:49So, I mean, Smee loves it, right?
00:04:53Yeah.
00:04:55Not very much, but yeah.
00:04:59Hi, guys.
00:05:00Dinner is ready.
00:05:00Come.
00:05:01Yeah, dinner is ready.
00:05:02Yeah, I'm ready.
00:05:03What?
00:05:05Sri and Galoo will share, because we don't have enough bowls, parmesan cheese.
00:05:11So you just sprinkle however much you want on there.
00:05:16Is it goat cheese?
00:05:17No, no, it's parmesan cheese.
00:05:20Go ahead and try it.
00:05:22Take a big bite.
00:05:25Mmm.
00:05:32I think the parmesan makes it so good.
00:05:35Peccati was nice.
00:05:37He tried really well.
00:05:39But that was a little bit al dante.
00:05:42And as per the Indian taste palate, we want some salt.
00:05:47Yeah.
00:05:48Yeah.
00:05:50You like it.
00:05:52Is it good?
00:05:55What did you think of my spaghetti?
00:06:01She don't like my spaghetti.
00:06:02I didn't like it.
00:06:02I didn't understand what it was made.
00:06:05I don't understand what was that.
00:06:08You just boil it, add sauce, like, what was that?
00:06:18Okay, I'm not cooking spaghetti for you no more.
00:06:20No, no.
00:06:28Okay, spaghetti every night?
00:06:30No, no, no.
00:06:31No, no, no, no, no, no.
00:06:32I'm not a cook, so...
00:06:39She's saying you have to cook daily, you have to eat daily, so...
00:06:46Smith knows how to cook.
00:06:49Me too, I'm a cafe with Smith.
00:06:54If it's like this, then you will eat daily?
00:06:59Yes, if...
00:07:02Not only we are moving in with the family, we also decided to open a cafe together.
00:07:10When I lost my job and I was unable to find a new job,
00:07:14my mother suggested that our family come together and open a cafe.
00:07:20Everyone in my family loves to cook and food plays a big part in Indian culture.
00:07:26Now we're going to own our own business and entire family going to be all together.
00:07:31It's going to be a lot.
00:07:34I'm concerned will hit the fan.
00:07:40If I'm there working and helping most of the day, if I come home,
00:07:44I'm going to need to get some rest. I can't come home and start cooking.
00:07:48We're working in India, the lady.
00:07:52We can come home and come back together and do something.
00:07:57You have to do it.
00:07:59If she keeps in India, she will not learn how much.
00:08:04She didn't learn anything.
00:08:06She's not a child, Jenny.
00:08:07It's a very interesting lady.
00:08:11She has to say that that she doesn't even know.
00:08:15she's expecting some house help that's it I don't mind cleaning I actually enjoy
00:08:24cleaning she is saying that she's saying that she will be helping in cleaning
00:08:33I can't clean it's only the first night in the house I cooked dinner nobody
00:08:44ate it mom's already telling me what to do and on top of all of that we're gonna be
00:08:51working together this is only day one if this is how things are starting out I
00:08:58don't know what the future is gonna hold
00:09:14my life lost in what I live by happiness having fun enjoying it like that's what I believe life is
00:09:36about
00:09:42my name is Jonathan they like to call me Johnny I'm from the beautiful island of
00:10:03Aruba and 32 years old as you guys can see we are on a pirate ship I work on the joy pirates I'm a
00:10:18first mate and also the MC so I'm always the host in the boat I like to do the acrobats the flips and
00:10:25things like that on the boat and I have to make sure the boat stocked up with a lot of alcohol
00:10:30it's a big booze cruise where people just come party drink and dance it's a lot of fun to work on
00:10:46the boat and complain
00:10:50the job also has a lot of temptation in it women when they come on vacation they think party party party and
00:10:56they think oh wow I'm gonna go with a local guy you know
00:11:02I'll let you know all right okay I guess very overwhelming sometimes especially now that I have a
00:11:13girlfriend you know I'm with Chloe it makes it very very difficult I met Chloe on the jolly pirates
00:11:20it's one thing that I really really like about go is that she's very athletic and outgoing and she
00:11:31has like no fear she's a very attractive woman you know blue eyes blonde hair five foot great body you
00:11:38know of course anybody would go crazy for that you know the first time I met Chloe I felt like hey
00:11:47it's not gonna be anything serious you know this is just not a girl that's just coming to Ruba having
00:11:51a good time but at the end of the trip she was like yeah I would like to see you again and I started
00:11:57laughing at her I said yeah sure whatever and then it was like a week later she actually came back like
00:12:03a magician boom Houdini I really didn't expect her to come back so it was a exciting moment I was very
00:12:09happy to see her I get to spend more time with her and I got to really know her I really like Chloe's
00:12:17presence I like being around her she's confident and knows what she wants and you know things got
00:12:23serious little by little I got more and more serious my final love with Chloe but me and Chloe we
00:12:31agreed that me being in Aruba her in Boston it just it wouldn't work for us it's like I know for a
00:12:37fact we would not work long distance and we both agreed on that thank you guys so much God bless
00:12:42I love Aruba a lot man and you know I really can't leave it Aruba forever will stay my home
00:12:50so we made the decision she'll come through by moving with me and she arrived in a couple of
00:12:59days those women were like all over me man they were on my social yeah when you work on a boat you
00:13:07have the reputation of like a player and you know but I'm not chasing them they're chasing me I can't
00:13:13really be mean I can't really like shut down a person you know be like hey nah I got a girlfriend you
00:13:17know you know I work for the tips but that really makes Chloe jealous you know like she's been blowing
00:13:25up my phone holy so many calls also oh man she keeps calling acting like I can answer when I'm working
00:13:33you know yeah yeah man I'm really trying to work with that man Chloe is such a sweet and beautiful girl
00:13:40but man I wish she wasn't so jealous man I know you I know I know it sucks because you know it's so
00:13:48it's always an issue man I'm trying my best to gain that trust but she makes it impossible I gave her
00:13:55access to everything my cameras I gave her my location I try to answer the phone even in the
00:14:01middle of night I'll try my best answer it's always it's always something man it's so annoying I got that
00:14:06yeah I wake up early in the morning sometimes and I went to go sit outside in my patio and the camera
00:14:12doesn't show where I'm sitting and so she got mad at me because she thought from one camera she saw me
00:14:19leave but from the other camera she didn't somebody come in so she thought that I went out for like
00:14:23two hours this happened like a week ago and I'm still like I didn't go out my car is still there
00:14:30I'm not manipulating the cameras I'm not smart enough to do that I don't have you know what I
00:14:35mean I know I did some mistakes in the past in the beginning I wasn't that um exclusive being a
00:14:46being a guy did some really dumb things you know but Chloe also did a lot of things that make it hard
00:14:52for me to trust her one day when she was sleeping I decided to grab her phone open it up and then I saw
00:14:59her having conversations with this guy like sexual and all that kind of conversation so you're not
00:15:06I'm not the only one and when I confronted Chloe about the situation Chloe's face was like you know
00:15:13I I didn't do anything you know like Chloe didn't want to admit it and you know it was hard because of
00:15:18course she was lying to me eventually we became in agreement and said like hey you know we'll be
00:15:24exclusive to each other from now on but we don't trust each other at all I love Chloe when we're
00:15:34together there's nothing that can stop us I really want to start a life with her I really want to
00:15:40settle and I really do believe that I want a family unit with her I just want to see if she's mature
00:15:46enough I'm ready for that you know I'm 32 years old already I'm ready to settle down take it easy I
00:15:54partied more than enough I've went out with plenty of women you know but I'm very worried Chloe's not
00:16:01ready to leave the party lifestyle Chloe's only 23 and so maybe she just wants to be in Aruba because
00:16:08it's paradise and all her friends come and she can drink all the time and me being used to seeing what
00:16:12American women do when they come and vacation mode and drink and party really makes it hard for me to
00:16:18trust her and believe what she's saying is actually true she's such a nice girl man like when I'm with
00:16:24her man she's so funny I like talking like no problems at all I just we understand each other
00:16:32so well that's the kind of partner that you want for the rest of your life that started like the good
00:16:38things but it comes with all the jealous things and all that and hopefully like I really really
00:16:43really hope that she's gonna change I'm ready to get married and I love Chloe so much but I only know
00:16:51Chloe for a year now I don't want to waste time on a girl that's all vacation mode I need somebody
00:16:57that's ready for stability I don't know if she's ready for that but I'm hoping she could show me that
00:17:03she is because I would truly go on one knee and ask her to marry me I love your brother I've done
00:17:13everything for him Sarah when you tell me these things enough who are you to know better than us
00:17:20it's not your relationship
00:17:23he was speaking with other Colombian dear what the f*** is coming in your head
00:17:38okay get out of my house okay I'm done I'm done
00:17:47Sarah let it go I love your brother I've done everything for him Sarah do you think I really
00:17:54want that but this is where my concern is when you tell me these things because it was a very tough
00:18:00time and I said I want to improve I said I want to improve I said I don't want that enough as your
00:18:08father as your father-in-law let's just stop time out it's okay at the end of the day we're moving to
00:18:15France yes you are so I also would like him to spend time with his aunt so let's get past this
00:18:21tensions are high Ben's getting really fussy needs some food needs to wind down and go to bed
00:18:40I really appreciate you guys coming I want to spend more time with you guys because we are leaving
00:18:45but we just have to sit on it and and reflect that's all all right okay go inside
00:18:53my relationship with Manon felt completely fine up until this moment it feels very out of left
00:19:01field about them moving all the way to France forever and it is happening so fast so it's just
00:19:07like a really little amount of time to acclimate to that news felt like tensions got really high
00:19:13really quickly and I recognize that when I have a finger pointed at me I'm very quick to point a
00:19:18finger back but yeah I don't I don't necessarily think I deserve that
00:19:22it's not what I wanted to happen today
00:19:28because that's not how I wanted it to happen no that's not cool what she said I'm sorry but I had
00:19:36to I had to tell her let's go I had to hey I had to I'm sorry I think everybody's on your side that
00:19:42that was unwarranted and you guys are both like fiery personalities too so it's like fire on fire
00:19:48there I am very much surprised to hear that she had confided in my sister she is my twin it may have
00:19:56made my sister feel uncomfortable like hey I want to divorce your brother I don't think we're compatible
00:20:01I would be uncomfortable but also I feel Manon was justified in kicking Sarah out of the house
00:20:08because I feel like both sides weren't really listening to anyone else around and it was just
00:20:13getting louder and louder and we really needed to just reset take a step back and give it some time
00:20:18and some space
00:20:18sorry it ended that way but yeah well I'm sorry too but it just really it was hurtful to hear what
00:20:28she just said like that like in front of everyone I can understand I kind of felt a little bit of a knife
00:20:33in my heart not gonna lie that's why I said go now because I'm like I don't have to deal with this
00:20:37yes I was to the point where I'm like Antoni and I maybe we are not made for each other because I'm
00:20:42going crazy with everything but I know that it's not true because I love him and everything it's the
00:20:47situation that creates me all of those feelings I understand where you're coming from but we're gonna let
00:20:52everything settle yeah we're gonna say our goodbyes but thank you for coming from I'm gonna miss you
00:20:57guys but we're gonna talk soon yeah obviously yeah I just vented to my sister-in-law for a reason
00:21:05she's family right that's how I operate with family and when at the table in front of everyone she tried
00:21:12to use it against us like really hurt me on the moment because I'm like I confided in you first and
00:21:18second of all like who are you to say that and to know better than us it's not your relationship
00:21:25it's mine and your brothers setting the house and moving to France I know it is a drastic measure she
00:21:31is right but drastic problem requires drastic measures we have a child now we are a family we love each
00:21:40other and we want to protect our family this move is very much to essentially save our marriage
00:21:48we stay up all day
00:22:04look finally move here in one week and we're gonna to get married in two weeks later
00:22:27so before he get here I want to look in some potential apartments in Medellin so I bring my friends
00:22:41cut it to help me to check one bueno muchachas este es el apartamento
00:23:22super bien maile
00:23:23the thing is I don't want apartament for me and look
00:23:28amor pero mira está super grande el clóset
00:23:32I wanna buy my own apartment with my own money as investment for myself I want to make it into a home like a tourist can to rent and of course I gonna to make a lot of money from that
00:23:48Amiga y cuente quien lo le va a comprar ese apartamento o que
00:23:53Amiga no
00:24:20mader beauty yeah I've been working in my salon mader beauty for one year and a
00:24:29half and even if he look help me fundle the whole salon is my idea oh my god yo
00:24:41this is legit baby good stuff now is the only investment look half making money I think that
00:24:52means a lot about my business stills as much I love look I don't gonna to left then body
00:25:01investments turn me down solo también puede aunque decidas al cielo sigue cometiendo bastante
00:25:07I've been into a lot to get where I am today growing up was a hard time for me because my mom
00:25:24was a single mom she had me very very young 16 years old so she was working all the time I know my
00:25:35mom tried to do a hair base but I feel like I have to rest in myself so when I was 12 years old I
00:25:44start to running away from home I one day sleeping in my grandma's house one day sleeping in the street
00:25:52eventually I get a job in the traveling industry like a party promoter and I start to make a lot of
00:25:59money and now my beauty salon is taken off and I feel like a survivor
00:26:07it is the kind of amor de que los amigos siempre digan de que soy yo la gold dealer gold dealer es
00:26:13como sugar baby what sugar sugar dude yo soy la verdadera sugar
00:26:18versus both on the verdaderos sigma
00:26:20maddy es una chica muy inteligente pero es para mí él es un bow y my name con todos la situaciones por
00:26:31la que ella ha pasado con él y le perdona y le perdona y creo que después de que se casa no va a
00:26:35He's not going to be the exception.
00:26:37He's talking about his beauty, his juventud,
00:26:39and his intelligence with him.
00:26:41No, my friend.
00:26:43That's why it's better to be alone.
00:26:45And also, to take that step so hard
00:26:47to get married.
00:26:49And as a man, I'll never stop being a dog.
00:26:53That's the most important thing.
00:26:55My friend, what do I tell you?
00:26:57What happened?
00:26:59A few months ago,
00:27:01I found a private messenger in social media.
00:27:03He was speaking with other Colombian girls
00:27:07and told her to save him
00:27:10and her contact like he was her husband.
00:27:13Like, oh, saving me like you, esposito.
00:27:17He said he only did it
00:27:19because I don't giving him sufficient attention.
00:27:22So he cheered off me, and it's my fault?
00:27:25What the ?
00:27:27How you plan to get married?
00:27:29And go to tell other bitch,
00:27:31you are him husband.
00:27:33Like, what the ?
00:27:35It's coming in your head.
00:27:37You are caterpillar in your head.
00:27:39I said, you're going to get married with that cat.
00:27:41Oh.
00:27:45I'm in love.
00:27:46I've got him.
00:27:47I love him.
00:27:48He's my first love.
00:27:49And it's something I feel like.
00:27:52I feel like these cows in my stomach.
00:27:55A mí nada me hace feliz más que él.
00:27:58Estoy enamorada.
00:28:11I decided to forgive him because I waiting for him off here for so long.
00:28:18I know when he gets here, the things gonna to get buried.
00:28:23I just hope he don't prove me I am wrong.
00:28:34My name is Greta.
00:28:40Some people might think it's odd to have this sort of connection with the cat,
00:28:44but I think normal people are weird.
00:28:50It's gonna be our cafe, baby.
00:28:52The cafe has to be successful because if we're not,
00:28:57we'll be living with the parents forever.
00:29:01It's like a hallway.
00:29:02Are you ready, baby?
00:29:10Oh, that's pretty.
00:29:12Everybody's a turn when you're walking.
00:29:16Bring your head up a little bit.
00:29:18Yes, there you go.
00:29:19Hazel, Hazel.
00:29:20Hazel is my cat.
00:29:22She's 11 years old and she is my baby.
00:29:24Just give it, give it, give it to me.
00:29:27I love it.
00:29:27Bring your booty down.
00:29:28Do your thing, do your thing, do your thing.
00:29:32You're beautiful.
00:29:33Hazel understands me more than anyone else.
00:29:37Let's go.
00:29:38She is the cat version of me in so many ways.
00:29:41She gets so upset whenever she's hungry.
00:29:44You can woke me up for breakfast.
00:29:47And I'm very similar in that way.
00:29:50Hazel, are you ready to fly?
00:29:51We're both airy, so we're passionate, independent, but also pretty chaotic and emotional.
00:30:03Hazel, we both have quirky personalities.
00:30:06Actually, it might just be me.
00:30:09Hazel might be cool.
00:30:11Hazel, we're going to read, okay?
00:30:14Some people might think it's odd to have this sort of connection with a cat,
00:30:18but I think normal people are weird.
00:30:30She's so tired.
00:30:31Yeah, she is.
00:30:33Which is good because she doesn't have the energy to, like, run away.
00:30:36My name is Greta.
00:30:38I'm from Norman, Oklahoma, and I'm 27 years old.
00:30:44Can you look at me?
00:30:46You're the mommy.
00:30:48I'm pretty, like, non-conformist and kind of living life my own way.
00:30:53I graduated from law school a little over three months ago.
00:30:57I just passed the bar exam.
00:31:00I did really good.
00:31:02And it is my dream to work in animal law.
00:31:06Can you face squatted like that?
00:31:08Yes, that's pretty.
00:31:12Ever since I was a kid, I've always felt really connected to animals.
00:31:15Hi, nice to meet you.
00:31:18I've been vegan for seven years,
00:31:20and I think that animals are way more kind and accepting than human beings.
00:31:27I always felt like animals get me and humans don't, until I met Matthew.
00:31:36It looks like we only have one third of the lifeboats.
00:31:55I'm going to be signed off on that.
00:31:59I'm Matthew, 26, from Market Harbour, England.
00:32:04I'm definitely a bit of a nerd.
00:32:06If most people envision what a nerd is, I'm, yeah, I fit squarely in that definition.
00:32:12Just something I have a knack for, just the intricacy of building little things.
00:32:18I'm normally attracted to eccentric women, so my relationships are often like a spicy pasta.
00:32:26I'm the stable, nice tomato sauce that acts as the base,
00:32:31and then the chili thrown straight in whole.
00:32:35That's my favorite kind of pasta.
00:32:36I met Matthew on a vegan dating app.
00:32:43It's basically vegan Tinder.
00:32:47The first thing I noticed was that he worked in finance,
00:32:50and that was really attractive because most of the other guys on this app
00:32:55were, like, either hippies or, like, unemployed.
00:32:58I like you, I think you like me too.
00:33:02I like you, I think you like me too.
00:33:05I was taking a class at Oxford over the summer, and I only had two weeks left,
00:33:10so I super liked Matthew, and I asked him out.
00:33:14I was like, whoa, she's bold.
00:33:17I was very nervous about meeting her for the first time,
00:33:21so I made index cards of questions.
00:33:26Definitely over-prepared with the index cards.
00:33:29I felt a huge spark with Matthew.
00:33:32He was listening to everything I was saying and was very open-minded.
00:33:35And we have very similar outlooks on life.
00:33:38That following weekend, we went to a palace and stayed at a really old hotel
00:33:44and argued about economics in the hotel, and that's why I knew he was the one.
00:33:50When I got back to the U.S., we talked every day.
00:33:54Romantic relationships have been hard because I find it difficult to connect really intensely
00:34:08with people, but Matthew changed all of that.
00:34:12After a year and a half of back and forth on one of my trips over, he proposed.
00:34:17Matthew and I decided that I should move to the U.K.
00:34:34He has a good job in England, and he is really close with his family.
00:34:38We're going to have to live with Matthew's parents until we find a place of our own.
00:34:44But I love Matthew, and I really like England, so I'm moving there in two weeks.
00:34:50Just kind of nestle into her.
00:34:52I don't know how you're going to leave that sweet girl.
00:34:54I know.
00:34:55I don't know either.
00:34:56I just wanted some last photos of me and her together.
00:35:00Oh.
00:35:02I did not think I would be leaving Hazel behind.
00:35:06She's like, you're the best, Mama.
00:35:08Mm-hmm.
00:35:09But Matthew's parents have a cat and a dog, and they live in a very small English home.
00:35:14And Hazel gets very anxious and agitated around other animals.
00:35:19So until we get our own place, I can't bring my baby with me.
00:35:23I have some really close, animal-loving friends that are going to take her in, and I'm really
00:35:32hoping Matthew and I can get our own place soon.
00:35:36But every time I think about it, I start to cry.
00:35:40I can't even imagine how I'm going to feel the day I have to say goodbye to her.
00:35:47I'm excited for you, but sad, you know?
00:35:49I'm giving up a lot to move to the UK.
00:35:54I won't be seeing my friends or my family.
00:35:57I won't be able to practice law in England until I get properly licensed there.
00:36:03And worst of all, I am rehoming Hazel.
00:36:11But Matthew understands my soul.
00:36:14I've never had this type of connection with a human before.
00:36:19So despite all the sacrifices, I'd always regret it if I didn't give my relationship with Matthew a chance.
00:36:25How's his wife?
00:36:30I'm a father.
00:36:43I'm a father.
00:36:44I'm a father.
00:36:44I'm a father, and I'll give him a chance.
00:36:45Goodbye.
00:36:45Goodbye.
00:36:46Goodbye.
00:36:46Goodbye.
00:36:47Goodbye.
00:36:47Go go go pick.
00:36:49Bye.
00:36:50Bye.
00:36:50Bye.
00:36:51Bye.
00:36:53Bye.
00:36:54Bye.
00:36:55I'm going to make this for the rest of the people.
00:36:58Cut it.
00:37:25to lay in bed i like to relax in the morning i like to sleep in should i go out there first
00:37:31or no no no like change i don't want to have to get up in the morning and fall in line with
00:37:37everybody else this is part of the reason i didn't want to live here chopping wood with me
00:37:43good morning good morning good morning good morning how are you
00:37:57about keio it's not late over
00:38:01chai bano chai no chai coffee no meat you chai
00:38:07chai you make tea for her that's what she's saying oh okay
00:38:28oh my god good morning good morning
00:38:31what's good jenny and i are planning to go to see the cafe
00:38:41once you're done with your work if you want you can join us over there
00:38:46my family put me in charge for finding a space for the cafe
00:38:50i found a spot where we can easily get walk-in customers and there's a lot of universities there
00:38:59so we're gonna cater to the students i'm excited to see the cafe it's gonna be our cafe baby
00:39:08i get to get out of the house and go eat somewhere else
00:39:14i want to start it as quickly as possible because we need to start a source of income so
00:39:20we won't be worried about money
00:39:24yeah the cafe has to be successful because if we're not we'll be living with the parents forever
00:39:32i'm doing my best but i feel like too old for this i want us to get back in our own place
00:39:40i'm excited to see what they've done with it we've been so busy moving and everything we haven't
00:39:46seen it since it was nothing here we are oh here we are our cafe share the space with five other cafes
00:39:58it's a kind of like a food court in the mall it have different shops serving different kind of foods
00:40:04and there is this section like where the tables and like chairs are no shop was empty over there but
00:40:12then the owner told me that he has a space where we can build our own cafe the construction already
00:40:19been started i already spent thousand dollars for the framework and for the fourth month rent and
00:40:25there's a no turning back from here now all right
00:40:33so they've been working on it
00:40:54we have lights what do you think plugs like i need more
00:40:59one you need more maybe one more but the i think i want cooking to be in on that side more
00:41:07here we have like uh chopping and preparation can be happen here
00:41:12how many of us you think can fit in here at one time while we're working
00:41:19because right now there's no equipment in here
00:41:21when i first saw the place was just empty nothing but now that the walls are up i can't imagine there
00:41:31being a full kitchen in here plus six people and does this window open
00:41:40hello may i help you
00:41:42it's like a hallway yeah but you have to build a cafe that plays if even if you build any shop
00:41:51it will come empty it's just like a square box but ours isn't a square box it's a hallway
00:41:58how much equipment do you think we're going to be able to fit in here are we going to be able to fit a deep
00:42:03freezer we need a coffee machine and we need an oven i don't think we need it right now where are you
00:42:11making the sandwiches at in a griller like what if they want something toasted you have to put it in the
00:42:18oven we're going to start with whatever we have to keep it as low budget as possible i don't know we
00:42:27need to bring this equipment in here so let's do some measurements this is the first time we are
00:42:34seeing this cafe after it get built earlier the space was open so it was looking big now it looks
00:42:42like they're going to be challenged for us to work all together arm back over this way yeah about two arms
00:42:50so you could go like this actually it's a little less two one and a half yeah i need a less space to
00:42:59walk yeah exactly that's what i'm saying yeah it's very small and now my family is coming to check it
00:43:08out i am nervous that i don't want them to be disappointed my dad is retired and willing to work
00:43:17a full day job and my brother quitting his job because he thinks cafe going to be a successful
00:43:22business and a cafe will be the main source of income for entire family so the pressure is very high
00:43:30worst part is we don't have any water inlet or water outlet over here so we need to stock up water
00:43:37water and we cannot wash our dishes right here so it's going to be hard
00:43:49i want to cry but i also want to throw up i said that we'd always stay here and i find myself a man
00:43:55who's bringing me back there wow we are moving to france today and i'm kind of freaking out the only
00:44:01thing i want to do right now is cry i just cannot believe it one day left before the house is completely
00:44:15empty and we move to anthony's house house for a few weeks and then france now baby ben is falling asleep
00:44:23with me and he stays more with me take away all of my furniture if it means spending more time with my
00:44:30baby boy
00:44:36we're going to france yeah
00:44:44i even forgot to like take off my rollers i'm feeling a lot of very weird emotions that i should
00:45:02not feel at the same time i want to cry but i also want to throw up i want to do both at the same time
00:45:09i'm just like there's a lot right now and i just cannot believe it i just can't yeah well big decision
00:45:17big move yeah yeah we are moving to france today and i'm kind of freaking out and actually uh the only
00:45:27thing i want to do right now is cry look at everything around me and be like yeah that's it and
00:45:32i'm leaving you know it's this is not going to be my home anymore it has been a whirlwind these
00:45:38past few days and we've been staying at my aunt's house and just tying up our loose ends before the
00:45:46big move yesterday my family came over my sister apologized and thankfully we're leaving on a good
00:45:53note like look at me i moved here like 10 years ago i was by myself not speaking english i said i will
00:46:01always stay here and i find myself a man who's bringing me back there wow you made that decision
00:46:07together i'm not bringing you back there i'm not i'm the sugar mama here i'm the one who like
00:46:13makes it happen oh yeah i get it can you come here perfect i want to talk to you what's up put your butt
00:46:22here i just wanted to say something i'm happy that we are doing this together i know it's going to be
00:46:33something hard you know but i did not resent you for being so attached to ben and ben being so
00:46:40attached to you i do not i love it when i look at you with ben in the back of my mind i always end
00:46:45up saying like what a lucky woman i am i just i haven't been feeling myself you know i'm excited
00:46:55but it's hard for me to let go this you know that i had to process it i've been here nine years ago
00:47:01thinking i'll be here forever i'm gonna fight as much as i can to stay you know what happened you know
00:47:07what i had to been like to go through to be to be where i am today
00:47:13but i have to change my mindset and like realize that i'm not a failure by going there i'm actually
00:47:21i made it i have my american dream it's actually you meeting you and having ben you know i'm bringing
00:47:28my american dream with me and all my armor in france it does mean a lot to me that you are actually like
00:47:35wanting to go to france because i've been feeling that been me pushing you to do that i'm glad you're
00:47:42a lot more excited
00:47:47i know i'm all about career money money success because it's part of who i am and he knows that
00:47:52since day one but truly the most important for us it's just us as a family unit
00:48:01we have the love we have the family it's the situation that made us be this way so we have to
00:48:05change that that's why we're going to make this work because there's no other alternative for me
00:48:10i love you and i miss you because i cannot just stay without your bing ding dong and but like
00:48:18make it on me you know like i just can't it's been too long it's been too long
00:48:21hey we we we i love you we're gonna make it work
00:48:35oh jeez louise i'm leaving all my friends i'm leaving my family
00:48:41even though i'm reassuring my mom that i know what i'm doing the truth is i do not
00:48:46what do you think like i'm leaving my job to just start up a cafe and
00:48:54they haven't done anything working here is not possible at all
00:49:03i need you when i wake up in the morning i need you when i fall asleep
00:49:11i need to know you hear me when i'm chloe
00:49:17yeah your coffee's ready honey
00:49:32you're gonna miss teddy i'm gonna cry i love teddy so much
00:49:35he's so old i'm older than teddy no you're not i'm so much older than teddy he's only 14.
00:49:41dog years no one year in dog years is seven years so seven times 14 is whatever that is
00:49:50too early for that
00:49:54i'm moving to aruba today that's insane i'm gonna go get my bags
00:49:59would you like to help me carry them downstairs not really i don't think it's set in i feel like
00:50:05right now all i'm seeing is like the reward side of it like of course i'm so excited because i want
00:50:11to go see jonathan and i want to live with him but i'm also terrified i'm gonna miss you
00:50:18i'm gonna miss you next week i know but still
00:50:29my mom's already planning to come visit me next week in aruba to kind of make sure
00:50:34everything is in order i understand my mom's motherly concerns and i'm doing my best
00:50:39trying to reassure her that i know what i'm doing but my mom doesn't know about a lot of the issues that
00:50:46jonathan and i have had in our relationship that jonathan has cheated on me oh jeez louise
00:50:52i don't want her now and i don't know what it would look like if i told her
00:51:00and that's mainly because i don't want my mom to view jonathan differently and i don't want my mom to
00:51:08judge our relationship
00:51:10not i love you love you love you love you mom you smell nice good to you thanks i showered
00:51:23i see you too don't go goodbye
00:51:28okay honey hi i love you bye ted he just doesn't care teddy i love you
00:51:36i'm definitely uneasy about everything i'm leaving behind financial security i'm leaving all my
00:51:44friends i'm leaving my family
00:51:48even though i'm reassuring my mom that i know what i'm doing the truth is i do not
00:51:52i'm a little sad i'm not gonna miss the snow at all i've obviously been there before so it feels
00:52:05like normal but i think once i get there it'll set in that it's like wow i really just picked up my
00:52:11entire life and just moved to another country it's definitely a scary feeling moving my entire life to
00:52:23aruba my friends think i'm making a mistake my family is not happy about the distance i'm putting
00:52:29between us so quite literally no one is on board with this move but i'm in love with jonathan so i am
00:52:37gonna go and see it through and figure it out what scares me the most is i really am just such a
00:52:53structured person so you know not having you know like structured hours for work not having you know
00:52:59a morning routine not going into this without a job like i don't do well
00:53:02you know kind of winging things and that's exactly what i'm doing so i'm kind of petrified but
00:53:10we're gonna figure it out growing up cheerleading i was always the girl that they wanted to just
00:53:16throw up in the air so i just had to not be afraid of anything i think i'm still that girl who wants
00:53:23to take this huge leap of faith i just hope that i don't end up falling flat on my face
00:53:31tell me that you feel this way i want you to feel the same this is do or die can you see the light
00:53:53so
00:54:07hi hey mumos yeah your favorite where'd you get this this is from our combination next to a cafe
00:54:16Okay. We have to try and find out if we can match the taste or make it better.
00:54:21Okay.
00:54:22This is chicken. You can try this.
00:54:28Mmm.
00:54:30We cannot afford to hire chefs and other help.
00:54:35So, the entire family, we're going to work together in a cafe.
00:54:39And that's why we named it a family cafe.
00:54:42We are trying to make a proper cafe where people can come and have coffee and chai, finger food, sandwiches, burger, fries, and all, which students love to eat and affordable, too.
00:54:55We're going to have a big coffee machine. It's going to be the star of the show.
00:55:00No one else has one here. It's just like the ones that they have in the U.S.
00:55:04You know, it makes all the different cappuccinos and everything, and it's going to be right up front.
00:55:10And it'll be the first thing that the students see when they walk up to the cafe.
00:55:16These are good.
00:55:17And two.
00:55:19What are you doing here?
00:55:22You want some?
00:55:24My family, they haven't seen the pictures. They haven't seen how it looks.
00:55:29Wow.
00:55:30Hi.
00:55:30So, they trusted me fully in order to choose best spot for our cafe.
00:55:35So, this is the place.
00:55:38Yeah, this is the place.
00:55:39This is our cafe.
00:55:41Okay.
00:55:42Let me show you around.
00:55:46So, first of all, this is the space.
00:55:52He will call his cooking-based kitchen.
00:55:55There's one window on this side, and there is another window on that side.
00:56:01Okay.
00:56:01So, what do you think?
00:56:07Working here is not possible at all.
00:56:20Like, in this clumsy area.
00:56:23It should be more open space.
00:56:41A chef also needs a space to move around.
00:56:44But you have seen this space already.
00:56:46Yeah, but it would look different, empty, without all this.
00:56:51The moment is very beautiful.
00:56:54The space is very small.
00:56:56Before we had to call it to the place, we had to show the place before.
00:57:00If we had to come before, we didn't pass the place before.
00:57:04You are not even ready for this.
00:57:08We don't have even the basic things required for this cafe.
00:57:14It looks like that whatever I did is going wrong.
00:57:19Like, we spent money to get this pill.
00:57:22Don't be stressed out, okay?
00:57:24You did your best.
00:57:24Maybe a lot of money has been gone now.
00:57:26I know.
00:57:26Like, a part of our training.
00:57:28I understand.
00:57:29I'm there with you with the money situation.
00:57:33I'm leaving my job to just start up a cafe, and then I saw the space.
00:57:39I don't know why this is short of money.
00:57:41They haven't done anything.
00:57:44We didn't discuss.
00:57:45You have to compete amongst all the running cafes.
00:57:48So, you have to be more prepared, not like this.
00:57:51This is new for us, too.
00:57:54Like, we are not professional cafe people.
00:57:57We are not professional work people.
00:57:59Whatever we find, like, this is what we got.
00:58:02I don't know what we're going to do over here.
00:58:07I'm feeling like my family is thinking I did a big mistake.
00:58:12For years, I've been the black sheep of the family, and I want to make them proud.
00:58:17I want to show them that, look, I can do something,
00:58:20and that I am worth it, like, not just the black sheep in the hood.
00:58:25But it feels like that I disappointed them again.
00:58:29I feel like they're a total failure.
00:58:31Me and my friends like knitting and crocheting,
00:58:42and I even take opera lessons.
00:58:45Thanks, Jesus.
00:58:51That was beautiful.
00:58:55Knock, knock.
00:58:56Guys, what the is this, man?
00:58:59You guys trying to get me in trouble, or what?
00:59:01Madeline said none of this.
00:59:03These mother .
00:59:04I'm leaving.
00:59:05I'm leaving.
00:59:06I'm leaving.
00:59:06What's going to take you to save me?
00:59:11A little video is always good for me.
00:59:16So what's going to take you to save me?
00:59:20Can I get a little bit of your attention?
00:59:22One more than a little bit of your affection?
00:59:24Come on, let me get it.
00:59:25I want to give it what you need.
00:59:27Ooh.
00:59:27This is a pretty one.
00:59:29Come on, friends!
00:59:31Yay!
00:59:33Hi, boys!
00:59:35I am moving to the U.K. in one week,
00:59:39and I cannot wait.
00:59:41I am so excited.
00:59:43We're making bracelets.
00:59:45So whenever you abandon us,
00:59:46you have something to remember us by.
00:59:48Oh, my God.
00:59:48I'm so sad.
00:59:49I'm so sad.
00:59:52Me and some of my friends call ourselves
00:59:54the Wives Club because a few of us
00:59:57got engaged around the same time,
00:59:59but I think a more appropriate name for us
01:00:02is the Grandma Club.
01:00:05We like knitting and crocheting
01:00:07and drinking tea.
01:00:09I even take opera lessons.
01:00:12Say long, thanks, guys.
01:00:21That was beautiful.
01:00:25Can you try this for me?
01:00:27Yeah.
01:00:27My fingernails are too long.
01:00:29Pretty nails.
01:00:29How are you doing?
01:00:31I'm good.
01:00:32I am mostly excited,
01:00:34but just stressed about living with his parents.
01:00:38Yeah.
01:00:38They live in a really small cottage.
01:00:40How many bathrooms?
01:00:41Are you sharing bathrooms?
01:00:42There's one and a half bathrooms.
01:00:43Oh, no.
01:00:44Yeah, so we all share a shower.
01:00:47There's not even a bathtub.
01:00:48And then they eat meat,
01:00:50and they're cooking steaks,
01:00:52and then it's just awkward.
01:00:53And I feel like, in general,
01:00:54I'm not really good at living with families.
01:00:57I've had a very hostile home when I was a kid,
01:01:00and so I get really nervous.
01:01:05Around five years old,
01:01:08my mom passed away,
01:01:10and eventually my dad got remarried.
01:01:19The families did not mesh well.
01:01:21There were a lot of conflict.
01:01:23I felt like my stepmom
01:01:25didn't really want me to exist,
01:01:28so I learned to just make myself as small as possible
01:01:31to not draw attention to myself.
01:01:33I don't know how to interact in a family setting well.
01:01:37I get really in my head.
01:01:39And I don't know how to enter in a room
01:01:41and make small talk,
01:01:42and I feel like I really lack
01:01:44the skill set necessary to live with a family.
01:01:49How are you going to spend your days?
01:01:52I mean, you just did all of this work
01:01:56and took a big old test.
01:01:58I can't practice law in the UK.
01:02:01I don't have a right to work.
01:02:03Would you have to do a whole different school?
01:02:04I could take their exam,
01:02:07but it's really expensive.
01:02:09And I have to buy a course.
01:02:11Like, so I am volunteering
01:02:13at an animal advocacy organization.
01:02:16So, yeah.
01:02:20Animals were there for me
01:02:21whenever no other human was.
01:02:24And now I want to be there for them.
01:02:26As a child,
01:02:27when my mom was in the hospital,
01:02:30in order to distract my sister and I
01:02:32from what was going on,
01:02:33we went to the pet store
01:02:35and adopted two gerbils,
01:02:38Ying and Fong.
01:02:39I was obsessed with them.
01:02:42Get out, Ying.
01:02:45There.
01:02:46Animals will accept you for who you are.
01:02:48And these small creatures,
01:02:51most people would find really insignificant.
01:02:53It brought me so much happiness.
01:02:58This is going to be a huge, like, culture shock.
01:03:01It's going to change a lot of things.
01:03:02Yeah.
01:03:03About your life.
01:03:04Yeah.
01:03:04I think that a lot of people
01:03:06do get in a situation that you're in
01:03:08and they kind of panic about that.
01:03:10And you're a panicker.
01:03:12I am going in alone
01:03:13and I've been thinking about that a lot
01:03:15and how scary that is,
01:03:16especially if our relationship doesn't work out.
01:03:21Really?
01:03:22Is that something that concerns you?
01:03:24We've only spent five weeks or so together at a time.
01:03:27And Matthew, he is all in.
01:03:33But maybe once we live together,
01:03:35he might not be.
01:03:36He'll be like, you?
01:03:38Yeah.
01:03:38You.
01:03:39Because he does not want this anymore.
01:03:41So, we'll see.
01:03:45Granite just gets in her own head a lot.
01:03:48A lot of times it is self-doubt.
01:03:51She also does stuff like that with little things
01:03:53with Matthew where she'll be like,
01:03:55guys, oh my God, we were FaceTiming today.
01:03:57And his socks just looked so stupid.
01:03:59And we're like, what?
01:04:01I saw them in the background
01:04:02and they looked like they were kind of like mismatching.
01:04:06I think I maintain a very fairytale image
01:04:11of love in my head.
01:04:13And I just like kind of imagine this like constant spark
01:04:16and being so obsessed with someone.
01:04:18Yeah.
01:04:19Every long-term relationship,
01:04:21you have that period where it's like,
01:04:22it's called the honeymoon phase, right?
01:04:23It's so exciting.
01:04:24They all have days where it's like,
01:04:25he's like the greatest thing in the entire world.
01:04:27I'm so excited to wake up in the morning
01:04:29and be like, you're next to me.
01:04:30But then other days, I'm like,
01:04:32clean the shower after you shower.
01:04:37I'm just wondering if I feel this way
01:04:39because I just feel really unstable in my life right now.
01:04:41I have a tendency to feel anxious and spiral about things.
01:04:47And we've never lived together before.
01:04:49So I hope that when we move in together,
01:04:53everything will fall into place
01:04:55because I love him
01:04:57and I really want that happily ever after with Matthew.
01:05:01When you're living together,
01:05:02I feel like you'll realize things pretty quickly, honestly.
01:05:04I do have a plan B.
01:05:10There's a shop available.
01:05:12This place is out of sight.
01:05:15No one's going to see us.
01:05:17Should we move here,
01:05:19whatever money has been spent over there,
01:05:21there'll be a loss.
01:05:22There'll be zero.
01:05:22So much money has already been spent.
01:05:42Yeah.
01:05:43I already gave the rent.
01:05:44I already paid the security and everything.
01:05:47What do you buy food out of here?
01:05:49Well, I mean, a lot more needs to be done.
01:05:53The walls.
01:05:55So many things have to be done.
01:05:57I do have a plan B.
01:06:00What's that?
01:06:02I'll talk to the owner of this area.
01:06:04There's a shop available.
01:06:06It's a shop, proper shop.
01:06:08But the thing is,
01:06:09whatever money has been spent on this,
01:06:12the rent, this structure,
01:06:15everything will be zero.
01:06:19But if you want, I can show you guys.
01:06:22Come.
01:06:23All right.
01:06:25A few days back,
01:06:26I got a call from the owner of that place.
01:06:30And he said there's this place,
01:06:32which is recently, like, getting empty.
01:06:35And you can take it.
01:06:37But I was thinking, like,
01:06:38oh, I already paid for this shop.
01:06:40I already paid for the construction.
01:06:43And I don't know if I'm able to afford
01:06:46to make another investment.
01:06:48This shop is a shop.
01:06:49All right.
01:06:50Oh, you can take it.
01:06:53You can see here, there's a whole space.
01:06:55Water, inlet, outlet, both.
01:06:58There's a shop.
01:06:59This place is much better.
01:07:01Yeah.
01:07:01You need water.
01:07:02Water is right here.
01:07:03Use it.
01:07:04And you don't have that facility over there?
01:07:06No.
01:07:07There's a no inlet.
01:07:08There's a no inlet, outlet water.
01:07:10There's a no inlet, outlet water.
01:07:14Here, you don't need to go out
01:07:18in outside in public view
01:07:20in order to wash or dish it.
01:07:21Our cafe space doesn't have, like,
01:07:27a water inlet or outlet.
01:07:29The plan is we're going to bring
01:07:31the jars of water
01:07:33and we're going to use that water
01:07:34for cooking.
01:07:35And in order to wash the dishes,
01:07:37we're going to use the public area
01:07:38where people watch their dishes.
01:07:41I mean, how are you going to run a cafe
01:07:43without running water?
01:07:48This is the better place.
01:07:49This place is around the corner,
01:08:16so we're out of sight.
01:08:18No one's going to see us
01:08:20and I feel like
01:08:21we're going to lose business over there.
01:08:24The other spot
01:08:25is right in the middle
01:08:27of everything that's going on there.
01:08:29That's where everybody's sitting.
01:08:31This is where everyone is.
01:08:33Yeah.
01:08:33In terms of, like,
01:08:36if someone is running a kitchen
01:08:38and a customer is coming,
01:08:40they have to, like,
01:08:41it should be visible.
01:08:43Yeah, that's what I want.
01:08:44Customer, where are you?
01:08:45Yeah.
01:08:47Customer, where are you?
01:08:49Like, they get what they see.
01:08:51Like, whatever they see,
01:08:52they order from there.
01:08:53Oh, exactly.
01:08:53Okay, then,
01:08:55if that's what you're worried about
01:08:56and thinking about,
01:08:57then we should stay over there, then.
01:09:01Neither location
01:09:02is really ideal or perfect,
01:09:04but at least in the front,
01:09:06we'll attract more business.
01:09:08We really need this cafe
01:09:10to be a success
01:09:11because we need to be able
01:09:14to afford to move out
01:09:15and get our own place.
01:09:16Ugh.
01:09:17I don't know how long
01:09:19I can live with his parents.
01:09:23I'll get the thing.
01:09:26Oh, boy.
01:09:30I felt like I've been doing,
01:09:31like, solo parenting.
01:09:33I already told you
01:09:34that I feel I'm a mom
01:09:35and you're saying that to me?
01:09:38Wow.
01:09:38Solo parenting.
01:09:40Well, I've been doing
01:09:40solo providing.
01:09:49You need help, Pony?
01:09:50You good?
01:09:52Nice.
01:09:55There's more.
01:10:05Oh, they're blowing away.
01:10:14Benny, my baby.
01:10:16You ready?
01:10:17He's gonna miss you so much,
01:10:20you know?
01:10:20He's gonna miss you so much.
01:10:22It's gonna be hard.
01:10:24Saying goodbye to you, too.
01:10:25I know.
01:10:28So today,
01:10:29we are moving to France
01:10:30and, uh,
01:10:32I'm f***ing terrified.
01:10:35We're gonna miss you, guys.
01:10:36I know.
01:10:37We're gonna miss you a lot.
01:10:40For sure.
01:10:41I know.
01:10:41He's ready to go.
01:10:42We're going to go to France?
01:10:43Oh, yeah.
01:10:45Are you ready?
01:10:45We're going to become a French?
01:10:47Wee!
01:10:50Honestly, I'm devastated.
01:10:52Uh, because I just cannot believe
01:10:54that it's actually truly happening
01:10:56and that it's true.
01:10:57Love you, buddy.
01:10:58Love you, too.
01:10:59Thanks for letting us stay here.
01:11:01Come here.
01:11:02Hi.
01:11:02I promised myself
01:11:0610 years ago
01:11:08when I first moved to L.A.,
01:11:09that's it.
01:11:11You're gonna stay here.
01:11:12You're gonna make it work.
01:11:14And now I'm moving back
01:11:15to a country
01:11:16that I said
01:11:17I never would ever.
01:11:18I just cannot stop looking around
01:11:38and wanting to cry,
01:11:40thinking about what I worked for
01:11:41for 10 years.
01:11:43That's it.
01:11:44Now I'm completely
01:11:44leaving that away behind me.
01:11:47I'm giving up everything
01:11:48I dreamed of
01:11:49and everything I worked for
01:11:51because I truly want to spend
01:11:53more time with my son.
01:11:54And I'm also doing it
01:11:56to save my marriage.
01:11:59But,
01:12:00what if none of this works?
01:12:06Are you okay?
01:12:09Did you call your parents
01:12:10before leaving or so?
01:12:11I called my mom, yeah.
01:12:13How was it?
01:12:15It was good.
01:12:16Yeah?
01:12:16Just wishing
01:12:17the best of luck.
01:12:18Yeah.
01:12:19I'm so grateful for Maddie
01:12:21that she bought the car.
01:12:24But we have to be prepared.
01:12:26I'm prepared.
01:12:26You know,
01:12:26we lost 30K in four weeks,
01:12:29paying all of the last
01:12:30magical bills we have,
01:12:32all of the credit card,
01:12:33like, bills that we had to pay off.
01:12:35You know?
01:12:36We are down 30K.
01:12:38It is what it is.
01:12:40Manon and I value money
01:12:42and success
01:12:43wildly differently.
01:12:47She's only been out of work
01:12:48for a few weeks
01:12:49and she's already stressing.
01:12:51But as long as I'm with my family
01:12:53and we're not having to worry
01:12:56about where our next meal
01:12:57is coming from
01:12:57or, you know,
01:12:59keeping the electricity on,
01:13:00like, if all of those needs
01:13:01are met,
01:13:02I would be okay with that.
01:13:03But that's where
01:13:05me and Manon differ.
01:13:06We're on the opposite spectrum
01:13:08when it comes to that.
01:13:09We have to make sure
01:13:11that we save
01:13:12and we are good with money,
01:13:13you know, now?
01:13:15I know.
01:13:16That's why we're living
01:13:17with your parents.
01:13:18Yeah.
01:13:18In the meantime.
01:13:20I'm just saying
01:13:21because it's still important.
01:13:22Yeah.
01:13:23I mean,
01:13:23I feel like if you're going
01:13:25to be the same way there,
01:13:26that's going to cause issues.
01:13:28Same with you.
01:13:30It's both of us.
01:13:32If we have to start
01:13:34from the bottom
01:13:35and work our way back up,
01:13:36it is what it is.
01:13:37If you're going there
01:13:38and your expectations
01:13:40are happiness means
01:13:41house and stuff like that,
01:13:43we're going there
01:13:44for the wrong reasons.
01:13:45I want a few things, yes.
01:13:46Like, just a house
01:13:47and a happy, stable life.
01:13:49I will always work for that.
01:13:51Me too.
01:13:52But I see it
01:13:53as you won't be happy
01:13:55unless you have this.
01:13:56Look, so what's wrong with that?
01:13:57I'll work for it
01:13:58and I'll make it happen.
01:13:59Okay?
01:14:01Okay.
01:14:03I'm telling you,
01:14:04it will take time.
01:14:05I get it.
01:14:06But we'll get there
01:14:07and we'll find solution
01:14:07to have what we both want.
01:14:09And what I want
01:14:11is more help with parenting.
01:14:14I will.
01:14:15That's what I want.
01:14:15But that's why we're doing this.
01:14:17That's what I've already
01:14:18been doing, no?
01:14:20I have the best time routine
01:14:21now with him.
01:14:23Okay.
01:14:25What is wrong with you right now?
01:14:27I don't like
01:14:28where this conversation is going.
01:14:30Why you don't like it?
01:14:31What's wrong?
01:14:33Nothing.
01:14:34I've felt like
01:14:36I've been doing
01:14:36like solo parenting.
01:14:42That's how it's felt.
01:14:43Like, bath time
01:14:44is just bath time.
01:14:47Wow.
01:14:51Who's been
01:14:52putting him to bed?
01:14:53I keep telling you
01:14:54I try
01:14:55and he screams with me.
01:14:56It's going to take time.
01:14:57He was with you
01:14:58since I was like
01:14:59two months post-pogrom.
01:15:01Do you see the sacrifice
01:15:02I've made also for you guys?
01:15:03The life that I gave you?
01:15:05You don't give a
01:15:06about that?
01:15:08Wow.
01:15:09Yeah, right?
01:15:10You talk about me?
01:15:12I already told you
01:15:13that I feel
01:15:13I'm a mom
01:15:14and you're saying
01:15:15that to me?
01:15:16You want to make me
01:15:17feel even more
01:15:17like a mom?
01:15:18I don't recognize
01:15:21you right now.
01:15:21Thank you so much
01:15:22for what you said.
01:15:23It's very nice.
01:15:24Very nice, bro.
01:15:25Wow.
01:15:26Solo parenting
01:15:27while I've been doing
01:15:28solo providing.
01:15:31Wow, wow, wow.
01:15:32That's what it's going
01:15:33to be in France?
01:15:34Go back to fighting?
01:15:36That's what I'm hoping
01:15:37it's not in France.
01:15:38Look, I'm sorry
01:15:50but that's how I felt.
01:15:53I know you tried
01:15:54and it's hard.
01:15:56That's why we're
01:15:57going to France.
01:15:58So I apologize.
01:16:04Yeah, let's put it
01:16:06on the side
01:16:06but I'm not forgetting
01:16:07that was very helpful.
01:16:09But yeah,
01:16:09let's have a very
01:16:10nice flight now.
01:16:17Where's the music?
01:16:19I feel like
01:16:20I'm digging myself
01:16:21a deeper and deeper hole.
01:16:22I don't want to do
01:16:23nothing that's going
01:16:24to get me in trouble.
01:16:25If Madeline found out
01:16:26about this,
01:16:27she dumped my ass.
01:16:28Oh my God.
01:16:29Yeah, I got this game
01:16:32on lock.
01:16:33Made my way
01:16:34straight to the top.
01:16:35Girls pulling on my arm
01:16:36like a slap.
01:16:37Anyone that knows me
01:16:39knows I call them
01:16:40shots just like
01:16:42a boss, just like
01:16:44a horse.
01:16:47Cheers to a good night.
01:16:48I call them shots.
01:16:49I move into Medellin in just a few days
01:17:03and while I miss Madeline
01:17:05and I can't wait to kiss her
01:17:07and touch her and hold her,
01:17:09I'm scared to leave my life
01:17:11in the U.S. behind.
01:17:12This is where I grew up.
01:17:14All my friends and family
01:17:15live here.
01:17:16So before I go,
01:17:18my friends have invited me over
01:17:19for a little going away party.
01:17:23Come in.
01:17:24Knock, knock.
01:17:25Oh, finally.
01:17:27What's up, bro?
01:17:28My people, my people.
01:17:29Hello.
01:17:30How you doing?
01:17:30Guys, what the
01:17:34is this, man?
01:17:35You guys trying to get me
01:17:36in trouble or what?
01:17:37Madeline said,
01:17:38no, no, they're
01:17:38I'm leaving.
01:17:40I'm leaving.
01:17:40Hey, no, no, what?
01:17:41What are you doing?
01:17:42There's nothing here.
01:17:43No bachelor parties.
01:17:44Come on.
01:17:46Bro, you don't trust me?
01:17:47All right, this is it?
01:17:48Like, that's it?
01:17:50This is it?
01:17:51It's just a couple beers
01:17:52with the boys.
01:17:52I just want to make it festive.
01:17:54All right, with the boys.
01:17:57No more surprises.
01:17:58Bro, I guess Madeline's
01:17:59going to kick my ass, dude.
01:18:01Madeline told me
01:18:02not to have
01:18:03a bachelor party without her.
01:18:04So I know she'd be pissed
01:18:07about this.
01:18:08Hello, hello.
01:18:09What's up, dude?
01:18:11But I'm giving up a lot.
01:18:13I'm moving to Columbia.
01:18:15I need a boys night.
01:18:17It's just a bunch of guys
01:18:19with some stupid decorations.
01:18:21It's not like this
01:18:21is a real bachelor party.
01:18:25How well do you guys
01:18:26know Madeline?
01:18:26Because I don't really know her.
01:18:28Yeah, Brian, you know her, right?
01:18:32Unfortunately.
01:18:36Hey, what's up, Luke?
01:18:38So what you guys talking about?
01:18:40No, honestly, I was talking about,
01:18:41like, you know you're my boy.
01:18:43I mean, this might be
01:18:44the last time I get to tell you.
01:18:45I don't know if, like,
01:18:46Madeline's the right one.
01:18:47I've never met her,
01:18:48but I don't know.
01:18:49This man's living the dream.
01:18:51He had the balls
01:18:52to do what a lot of people
01:18:53want to do but don't do.
01:18:54I mean, it's like
01:18:56a fairytale story,
01:18:57if you will, you know.
01:18:59But at what cost?
01:19:01Madeline went out of her way
01:19:03to destroy my marriage.
01:19:05Luke knows this.
01:19:06She started a rumor
01:19:07that I wasn't faithful
01:19:09to my ex-wife
01:19:10just to get back
01:19:13at me telling Luke
01:19:15what happens
01:19:15when he's not there.
01:19:18Brian is one of my closest friends.
01:19:20We met in Colombia
01:19:21because he was married
01:19:22to one of Madeline's
01:19:23best friends, Vale.
01:19:25But things got messy
01:19:27after Brian had revealed
01:19:29some rumors
01:19:30that made me question
01:19:31her fidelity.
01:19:33Madeline,
01:19:33I lost my trust in you.
01:19:35told me that
01:19:36he spent one night
01:19:38in your apartment
01:19:39in the same bed.
01:19:40It's my apartment?
01:19:41Yeah, and he said
01:19:42that you were topless
01:19:43while he was
01:19:44in the same bed with you.
01:19:46He was in the...
01:19:47You slept in the same bed?
01:19:48Is it true?
01:19:49These people say
01:19:50my apartment,
01:19:51I have a party,
01:19:52well, then,
01:19:53yes, this is true.
01:19:55Were you naked?
01:19:56I am no naked.
01:19:58I am no naked.
01:20:02I was really pissed
01:20:03at first,
01:20:04but I chose
01:20:05to believe her,
01:20:06and we've moved on.
01:20:09She knew that
01:20:10she could manipulate people
01:20:11because she's great at that,
01:20:12and, you know,
01:20:13that's what I've been,
01:20:14you know,
01:20:15trying to warn Luke about.
01:20:17From the beginning,
01:20:19I supported them,
01:20:19but I saw her true colors,
01:20:21you know,
01:20:22and I can see him
01:20:24just getting taken advantage.
01:20:27You got to take things
01:20:28for what they are.
01:20:29If it looks like fish
01:20:30and it smells like fish
01:20:31and it smells like a fish,
01:20:32it must be a freaking fish.
01:20:34It's Madeline's world
01:20:36and we're just living in it.
01:20:38Like, she says jump
01:20:39and Luke says how high.
01:20:40She says bark
01:20:41and Luke barks.
01:20:42You're forcing this
01:20:43and you feel like
01:20:45Madeline is the one
01:20:47that has to be
01:20:48because you got a tattoo.
01:20:49But, like,
01:20:50you can backtrack.
01:20:52You can backtrack.
01:20:53It's okay to backtrack.
01:20:54Stop giving the boy
01:20:55a hard time, man.
01:20:55F***.
01:20:56Let him enjoy his day.
01:20:58You have a girl
01:20:59that loves you.
01:21:00She's over there.
01:21:00She wants you to go over there.
01:21:02Sometimes you just
01:21:03got to take that risk.
01:21:05You can't listen
01:21:06to other people.
01:21:07You're the captain.
01:21:08Listen to him
01:21:09or you'll walk
01:21:10the clientele.
01:21:12I think Brian's saying
01:21:13what he's saying
01:21:14because he's genuinely
01:21:15concerned about me.
01:21:17But,
01:21:17I love Maddie.
01:21:19She's my fiancé.
01:21:21And, honestly,
01:21:22I'm done with this conversation.
01:21:24I just want to have
01:21:25a good time with my friends
01:21:26before I move.
01:21:31Let's go, boys.
01:21:37Hi, hi, captain.
01:21:41Come in.
01:21:44Hi.
01:21:45Hi.
01:21:46How you doing?
01:21:47Good.
01:21:47How are you?
01:21:48Nice to meet you.
01:21:48What the f***?
01:21:49I'm going to meet you
01:21:50to the boys.
01:21:51Who's the bachelor?
01:21:52Is it you?
01:21:53This is the bachelor right here.
01:21:54Hi.
01:21:55Of course.
01:21:56We can hug.
01:21:57Oh, my God.
01:21:58Hello?
01:21:59Don't be shy.
01:22:00I'm a little shy.
01:22:02These mother f***.
01:22:04Do you have a bathroom
01:22:05I can change in?
01:22:06Yeah, yeah.
01:22:07It's over here.
01:22:08I told them,
01:22:09no bachelor party
01:22:10and what walks in?
01:22:12A stripper.
01:22:13What the f***, guys?
01:22:16Surprise!
01:22:17Dude, not okay.
01:22:19Not okay.
01:22:21I'll take the blame.
01:22:22I just want you
01:22:23to have a good time, bro,
01:22:24before you leave.
01:22:25There's a possibility
01:22:25that I overstepped,
01:22:26you know, bringing Fiji
01:22:27to my house.
01:22:28But I also feel like
01:22:29it's good fun,
01:22:30it's good nature.
01:22:30I mean,
01:22:30this is about your party.
01:22:31Where's the music?
01:22:33There's nothing
01:22:34that I would consider
01:22:35out of the norm.
01:22:38Oh, man.
01:22:39I don't want to do nothing
01:22:46that's going to get me
01:22:47I feel like I'm digging myself a deeper and deeper hole, but I'm an American, and there's
01:23:05a rite of passage to do the stripper thing.
01:23:08You got to do it before you get married.
01:23:11It's a cultural thing.
01:23:12It's in the book.
01:23:13It's written.
01:23:14But at the same time, I know that if Madeleine found out about this before the wedding, she'd
01:23:25call it off and dump my ass.
01:23:28It won't be a threat.
01:23:29She'd really do it.
01:23:31Next time on 90 Day Fiance, The Other Way.
01:23:41Chloe.
01:23:42Chloe.
01:23:43Oh.
01:23:44Are you excited?
01:23:47Came back.
01:23:48Yeah.
01:23:49Do you think I wasn't going to come back?
01:23:50I don't know.
01:23:51Sometimes you argue with me, and you tell me when.
01:23:53Ah, here we go.
01:23:54.
01:23:56Oh.
01:23:57Oh.
01:23:58Chloe doesn't have any idea what she's giving up.
01:24:00Oh.
01:24:01You remodeled the place.
01:24:02I worry when things start to get hard, she'll decide to leave.
01:24:05How are you?
01:24:08We need equipment for the cafe.
01:24:10So I called my friend, Rohit.
01:24:12Who will be your chef?
01:24:13She can cook, you know, spaghetti.
01:24:15Yeah, I can make spaghetti.
01:24:17Okay.
01:24:18Why is that funny?
01:24:20I don't think that they have any clue what they're getting into.
01:24:24Well, your business was so good.
01:24:26It shut down, right?
01:24:27Do your parents have space in the fridge for our food?
01:24:33One's like snag.
01:24:34Holy .
01:24:36I thought Matthew would have an apartment locked down for us,
01:24:40so we wouldn't be stuck at his parents' house for a long time.
01:24:43It's all been in it.
01:24:46I went over to David's the other day, and they had a stripper come over.
01:24:51It was a bachelor party.
01:24:53Gipsy found out.
01:24:54Oh, she'll go crazy.
01:24:55You've got to stand your ground, otherwise you'll mincemeat already.
01:25:01Let's go, let's go.
01:25:02I've been a little bit emotional about the fact that I'm leaving L.A.
01:25:06Do this, mommy and papi.
01:25:07Coo-coo!
01:25:08Hello!
01:25:09Look at you!
01:25:11I cannot be like, yeah, Marseille, I love it so much.
01:25:15No, I don't.
01:25:16I don't know what the f*** am I going to do.
01:25:22Let's go!
01:25:25Let's go!
01:25:27Let's go!
01:25:28Let's go.
