00:07I thought we started well, the first 10 minutes we started the game well and I don't know
00:13exactly when they scored, it felt like 10 minutes. The keeper made a couple of good
00:18saves but we gave away a terrible goal and then I think the rest of the half we were
00:23sort of chasing it, we never really got to grips with it after that. I think we had a
00:28chance just before half time which we maybe kind of equalised then. So we hadn't played
00:35well enough but we were getting sort of 1-0 down which gave us an opportunity in the second
00:39half to try and come out and be better but unlike us really, the first goal and obviously
00:45the other goals as well were unlike us completely. So it never really gave us a chance of winning,
00:50it was just poor defensively really.
00:54I know you're short on options at the moment but how concerning was the form or the impact
00:59of Tyler Diblin and Dwight McNeill who you took off for half time?
01:03I think as you come in it's always the first game they played really well and it's not
01:07the first game, a couple of games but we had to try and find another option at half time
01:12and we felt that we would try and be as positive as we could and see if we could get ourselves.
01:17The game meant a lot to try and win it today on the back of a good result in midweek.
01:22We didn't want to wait to 60 minutes or too late so we tried and took the risk but obviously
01:29it backfired.
01:34Hi David, to what extent do you think that was just almost a game too far for what was a
01:40stretch group of players? Is there anything that worries you deeper about that performance
01:44or is it something that you think you can just put down to the workload of a stretch squad?
01:49No, I don't like, I don't think it's something which we do here concede four goals too often
01:54and I thought we conceded them in a really really shabby manner today, really did.
02:00If you think how well they defended in midweek compared to today, it just didn't stack up.
02:06Obviously we've tried to win the game at home, we're a bit more open, we're trying to be
02:11in some ways trying to make things work and happen and I thought they punished us at the moments
02:18the moments we did do that. So, yeah, that was it.
