00:00Earlier today the National Congress released a video containing allegations of irregularities

00:05in the November 30 elections and asked the Prosecutor's Office to investigate an alleged

00:09case of bribery in the electoral body.

00:12The President of the National Congress, Luis Redondo, released a video in which the alternate

00:17members of the National Electoral Council exposed the irregularities detected up to

00:21December 16 in the last democratic process.

00:25In response to these allegations, the Head of the Legislative Branch asked the Prosecutor's

00:31Office to open an investigation into the alleged pavement that may have motivated the electoral

00:37councilors to endorse irregularities in the counting of votes and election results.

00:41In this regard, in a climate of widespread public discontent, the National Front of Popular Resistance

00:47called for a protest to demand the total renewal of the election held on November 30, in which

00:53the candidate Nasri Asfura was declared the winner without counting of the election results.
