00:00In other news, hundreds of Israelis gathered in Tel Aviv to protest after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that he had submitted a formal pardon request to end his long-running corruption trial.
00:12Netanyahu defended the move by claiming the charges against him are politically motivated and have caused deep divisions within the country.
00:20His statement has reignited public anger, with critics accusing him of attempting to bypass the judicial process and undermine the rule of law.
00:30At the rally, demonstrators voiced strong opposition to Netanyahu's legal battles and the broader stability of Israel's political landscape.
00:40The Prime Minister is charged with very severe crimes. He's trying to flee from court.
00:51And in order to do that, he is asked also for a pardon that is absolutely insane, because you can be pardoned if you don't plead guilty.
