A second man has been charged after a fatal stabbing at a home in Sydney’s inner west on Monday. Police are still trying to identify the man who was killed.

00:00At 5pm on Monday, emergency services were called to a home in Croydon Park to reports of a
00:08stabbing. When they got there, they found the body of a 29-year-old man with stab wounds
00:15to his neck. Police have described that scene as gruesome and horrific. They then went on
00:23to arrest a 32-year-old man who's been charged with murder. He didn't appear in court yesterday,
00:30but his lawyer was there appearing for him. Here's what his lawyer had to say.
00:35It is a tragic incident. There is presently a great deal that is unknown. I'm not in a position
00:43to make any real substantive comment about the allegations. All that I will say is that
00:50the presumption of innocence applies, as it does to every accused person. But unfortunately,
00:56that's all that I can say at this stage. How's your mind doing? Understandably shocked.

01:07And yesterday, police put out an appeal for assistance just to get some further information
01:12about what had happened in that incident. They then went on to arrest another man, a second
01:20manned a 36-year-old. He'll face Burwood local court today.
