00:00Hello, here's your latest weather update from the Met Office. I'm Marco Betania. We're
00:04starting Sunday on a fairly chilly note across the north of the UK, certainly across central
00:07and northern parts of Scotland, some frost around. Blue colours here indicating those
00:11frosty conditions. A few fog patches in places here as well. But elsewhere, there's a lot
00:15of cloud around, certainly across central and eastern parts of the UK, coming in on
00:18that east to north-easterly breeze. The best of the early breaks are out across these western
00:22and south-western parts of the UK. Not much changes into the afternoon, so the frost and
00:27fog across the north will have lifted to give plenty of sunshine. But elsewhere, we do hold
00:31on to a lot of cloud. Again, the best of the afternoon, bright is for England and Wales and
00:34across those western spots. Certainly until later, because notice by the end of the afternoon
00:39to the early evening, we'll start to see some clear weather tucking in across the far south-east
00:43of England. Temperatures are pretty close to where they should be for the time of year,
00:46peaking around about 6 to 8 Celsius. It's still quite breezy in the south, so that will take the
00:50edge of those temperatures. And towards the north, quite a chilly afternoon, certainly across parts
00:54of Scotland, where any fog, if it does linger, will suppress temperatures, just climbing just
00:59a little bit above freezing here. As we go into the evening and through the overnight period,
01:03the frost and fog will soon return across Scotland under fairly clear skies. And notice those clearer
01:08conditions across the south-east start to push their way westwards into other parts of England
01:12and Wales as we go into the early hours of Monday. So Monday, we'll get off to a clearer start
01:15more widely across the UK, more in the way of frost and fog around, certainly in recent days.
01:20So quite a chilly, murky start in places. I think the central belt of Scotland is one area to watch
01:24on Monday morning. Here it could certainly be pretty murky with some dense fog in places here.
01:29Through the day on Monday, though, that frost and fog will generally start to lift, allowing some
01:33bright spells to develop in most areas. But notice there is a band of clouds and some patchy rain,
01:38even a bit of hillsleak coming south into the north and east of Scotland. But away from these areas,
01:42staying largely dry, they say there will be some cloud at times with variable cloud cover
01:46across the UK. Still quite a breezy flow, though, across the UK, coming in from the east or northerly
01:52direction. And again, that will take the edge off of those temperatures. So feeling quite chilly out
01:56and about with highs during the afternoon, generally around about 6 or 7 Celsius. But if it were to stay
02:00quite murky across the central belt, Glasgow, for example, could struggle to get above 2 Celsius.
02:05That's 36 in Fahrenheit. That's pretty much it for me. But of course, you can keep tuned to the

02:15I'll see you soon. Take care for now. Bye bye.
