00:30Hello there, welcome to the second of our review shows of the 2025 Isle of Man TT races.
00:59In a week that was constantly hit by bad weather, with racers pushed back and then shortened,
01:04the second Supersport race was one of the only ones that went the full distance, a four-lapper
01:09in the company of Andrew Cobb.
01:19Paul Jordan is ready to go, he'll wait for the nod over on the right-hand side.
01:24Sir Mark Cavendish up there at the starting block and what a wonderful emotional interview
01:29he gave about what an incredible race this is.
01:34Paul Jordan heads us off down the hill, followed by Dave O'Johnson.
01:38The Honda and then the Karasaki.
01:41Dean Harrison now.
01:43Can Dean go one better than he did in Supersport race two and challenge Michael Dunlop for the win in this race?
01:50He was quick wasn't he out of the blocks last time?
01:52He's been quick out of the blocks in everything, but in that Supersport encounter he was quick,
01:56but Dunlop just seemed to have the better of him later on in the race.
01:59Yeah, Dunlop found his feet in that one.
02:01Every race this week, Dean has been fastest through that first sector.
02:04Let's see if he can do the same, but hey.
02:08James Hillier will want to have something to say about that as well if he can on the Bournemouth Kawasaki.
02:14Yeah, podium in that first race, James is on a roll.
02:17And now Michael Dunlop, Cameron, he's running the gold or the yellow, whatever you want to call it,
02:23Ducati's second race color which they run when they're feeling pretty victorious.
02:26Yep.
02:27So that's a good indicator of the team's attitude towards this one.
02:30Yeah, they're really ready for this.
02:32They've had a win, they want more fitted, a fresh engine for this race.
02:35Not because they needed to, just because they wanted to leave no stone unturned.
02:41Very, very determined to pick up their second win after a 30 year gap.

02:50Do you hear the crest there at St. Ninians?

02:55Spike of revs as that back tie just bounces off the ground.
02:58As we see Josh Brooks from the Jackson Racing Honda.
03:02He comes out a quarter bridge.
03:07Jordan still first on the road.
03:09He sets the time for that first sector to come through Glen Helen.
03:13Roads are looking nice and dry.
03:16It's been such a tricky week for these riders.
03:18Such broken run time.
03:204.8 seconds up for Dean Harrison.
03:23So Harrison has started quickly.
03:25He's gone past Davo Johnson as we saw already.

03:30So Harrison, Jordan, Johnson, and we wait for the later riders to come through the Glen Helen split.

03:42He had a good result in the first one, didn't he?

03:45Back with the Bournemouth Kawasaki.
03:47He's had many podiums with them before and he'll want another one today.

04:06Fantastic stuff as we see Josh Brooks being chased by Davey Todd.
04:10Davey Todd who will not want Brooks hanging on to him this time around.

04:19Todd just 0.1 back.
04:20Healy a less than a tenth back off that.
04:22So the top four are separated by under half a second.
04:29Back to Brooksy and Davey Todd.
04:32As I said before Josh probably won't know that Davey Todd is right behind him now.
04:38There's no mirrors on these bikes.
04:40This time he makes his way past on the right hand side.
04:43And it is a done deal.
04:48Split going to come any second now.
04:49At the minute you can see that it's 0.3.
04:51And Dunlop's taken 2.8 off them.
04:53So there was less than a second across the top.
04:55Four and now it's spread out.
04:56Look we can see Hilly a 0.3 back off Harrison.
04:59Who's 2.8 off the back of Dunlop.
05:01So can Dunlop make a break for it as you see Davey.
05:04Todd who is also looking to make a break.
05:06And actually looks to have broken the toe already Cameron.
05:08Yep he certainly has.
05:10Yesterday we saw Brooksy was just right on his tail.
05:13And you can't blame him for doing that.
05:15As a rider you're riding your own race.
05:17Todd's using a lot of road there as well.
05:23Over the line for Harrison.

05:26What's the gap going to be when Dunlop comes through.
05:29There was only around three seconds in it.

06:08We know how strong Dean's been off the mountain that section.
06:14The gap has gone up to seven seconds at Belafridge.
06:17Michael Dunlop has really dug in on this last sector.
06:20And Harrison is pressing on.
06:22Look he's using all the road.
06:23But Dunlop here we knew is taking some risks.
06:27I mean he's been riding hard.
06:28But okay.
06:29He's still riding very hard.
06:31Exceptionally hard.
06:32Yeah Dean Harrison's going to have to ride hard.
06:34Because Davey Todd and James Hillier are both in a fierce battle for those minor placings.
06:40There is so little separating those three.
06:45Dunlop on the run down to Parliament Square.
06:48Comes in right foot off.
06:49We saw that earlier on.
06:50He comes around now.
06:51Round to the left hand side.

06:54And a moment for Dunlop.
06:56Confirming that he is riding absolutely on the limit Cameron.

07:03Michael only knows one speed.
07:04That's flat out.
07:05And if it's feeling good he's going to go.

07:09Michael comes out of the right hander driving.

07:13Sets the bike off.
07:14And as the front wheel flicks.
07:16The right foot comes off the peg.

07:21We are down here in the Honda pit box.
07:23We've just seen the guys come back to the rear tyre.
07:25And they've also told me that it's just for an option.
07:27We don't know for definite if he's going to actually ask for that rear tyre.
07:30So that will be something interesting to watch.
07:32When Mike on the lock comes in a little bit later.
07:34If he also goes for a rear tyre or not.
07:36But Dean normally changes his helmet.
07:38But because it's quite windy out today.
07:40There probably won't be that many flies yet.
07:41He's just shook his head there to confirm.

08:15Yes, it wasn't the greatest stop by Dunlop's guys.
08:17But not a huge amount of time lost.
08:19Looked like he'd lost more than that as Lee said.
08:21He'll know he's lost a little bit of time there.
08:23But I mean, look at the gap Cameron.
08:25It's 17 seconds as we're on lap three out of four.
08:28He's just building, building, building.
08:30Even with the problem in the pits.
08:31Yeah, that's right.
08:33And the only question now is with it being a fallout race.
08:35Will that tire last the distance?
08:38Dean Harrison down the gears.
08:42From the nook into Governor's dip.
08:44The familiar focus.
08:46But behind him, that man has got his eyes focused on the back end of Harrison.
08:49It won't matter because he's 26 seconds up the road.
08:52Dean Harrison's going to get P2 on this one.
08:54Michael Dunlop, though, with his rival in his sights as he comes onto Glencrutery Road.
08:59Eight Supersport wins in a row.
09:02And TT number 32.
09:05He's into his stride now.
09:08He certainly is.
09:09And with two runs on the trot, can he keep this momentum going for the rest of race week?

09:20The usual suspects on the podium with Harrison and Todd.
09:22Paul Jordan just nicking P4 off James Hynde at the end of the race.

09:37A really strong lead in that one.
09:39How was the race for you?
09:40Yeah, it wasn't so bad.
09:41Yeah, it was going to be difficult.
09:44I knew Dean would come out of the block.
09:45But when I knew it was sort of got me back together at the start of the race, I think it was quite at the front at the start.
09:51So I left myself a little less work to do.
09:54So, yeah.
09:55Once I got to the front with a bit of a nerve and pit stop, she went not to fire again.
09:59So, yeah.
10:00Look, the bike was meant.
10:01Thanks to all the team.
10:02They worked late last night to get it going.
10:03And, you know, fair play to them.
10:06It was great.
10:07So I just like to thank the team and the sponsors.
10:10It's not possible without them.
10:12And obviously delivery.
10:13And obviously for Ducati as well.
10:16Obviously it's nice being back at the top and doing the double again.
10:18So Dunlop at the double on the Ducati and the decision to swap manufacturers after so much success with Honda in the Supersport Class Cam absolutely vindicated.
10:37It certainly was.
10:38I mean, Michael's not afraid to try something different, but the decisions he makes are calculated ones.
10:43That crew was the same that fielded Davey Todd on that machine last year where Davey finished second.
10:49So I think Michael knew with his skills he could take it to the next level.
10:52Yeah, and that's seven different manufacturers he's won with now.
10:55Another impressive statistic.
10:57It is.
10:58And you wonder where it's going to stop, when it's going to stop.
11:00But maybe we could see him back next year on a Ducati Superbike.
11:04Well, he'll have to run out of manufacturers eventually.
11:06That much we do now.
11:08OK, we'll find out after the break if Michael could convert his small bike form onto the big bikes with Superstock Race 2.

11:29We continue our look back now at the Isle of Man TT Races 2025.
11:33Next up, it's the Opel Superstock Race 2.
11:36Tricky conditions earlier when the riders went for a wrecky lap.
11:46Just have a little look around and check the course conditions.
11:49But now the sun is shining, the temperatures are coming up.
11:52They are astride, their machines, and we are good to go.
11:55Harrison got it the other day.
11:56His teammate John McGuinness leads us off on the factory Honda with the number one.
12:00Clack drops, clock starts.
12:05The talking goes away, the revs come up and we get into this.
12:08Away then, Davo Johnson as well on the Kawasaki.
12:11And now the winner from last time out, Dean Harrison.
12:14Is he the favourite, Cameron Donald?
12:16Well, he's after his form earlier in the week, but it's going to be close this one.
12:21I think this is the one I personally have been waiting for.
12:24Let's see.
12:25Can Davy Todd and Michael Dunlop respond to the blistering pace of this man in Superstock Race 1?
12:32Look at Harrison.
12:33We know how quick he's been away from the line.
12:36Look at this.
12:37Through the bottom of Brayhill.
12:39Unreal.
12:40Up and over Agos.
12:41And on his run down to Quarterbridge, he is so fast out of the start.
12:45They have to respond immediately.
12:47It's push, push, push from the second you get away from the line.
12:49Hilly will know that as he heads off on the Markov Racing Machine.
12:52And this man knows it better than anyone.
12:55Michael Dunlop needs to get after it, doesn't he?
12:58He wants to take the win in this.
13:00Davy Todd onto the line.
13:01Todd surely a threat in this as well, having won the Superbike Race earlier this week.
13:06We ride on board with Josh Brooks as he comes down to Braddon Bridge.
13:09He's out Quarterbridge down to the first.
13:11Oh, there's a flag out in the background there.
13:13So, he's coming into the left-hander.
13:15No problems for him.

13:18Michael Dunlop has gone straight on at Braddon Bridge cam.
13:21He must have got that completely wrong on the brakes.
13:25Dean Harrison through as the leader.
13:278.6 seconds up on John McGinnis and Davy O'Johnson.
13:30I was gonna say we need to wait for Dunlop and Todd.
13:32But of course, Dunlop we know has gone straight on.
13:34We just wait to see what that gap is.

13:41Nicely done on the muck off machine.
13:43How far back is Dunlop?
13:44Here comes Dunlop now.
13:45So, now we're gonna see what damage has been done.
13:47Remember, in sector number one of what we anticipated was gonna be an unreal battle between our usual top three, the usual suspects.
13:57And Dunlop is 16 seconds down.
14:00He's around 16 seconds down.
14:02That's a huge amount of time to have lost on sector number one.
14:06We see Davy Todd come through.
14:08He's only 2.2 down.
14:09We still got a fight, Cameron.
14:10But one of our prize fighters has got one hand tied behind his back.
14:17Todd has closed the gap down to 1.1.
14:19But look at this.
14:20There's only 1.5 seconds between Ian Hutchins and Connor Cummins and James Hillier.
14:25Nathan Harrison, only 1.8 between four riders there, Cam, from P4 to P7.
14:30We have a race on our hands.
14:32We do, don't we?
14:33We lost one of them.
14:34We lost two of the big four, haven't we really?
14:36I mean, Peter Hickman hasn't ridden all week.
14:38We know Pete's been out and about in the paddock.
14:40Looking forward to him being back on the bike soon.

14:56Connor Cummins comes through that rough bit of road there in Ramsey.
15:03This man, Dean Harrison, won race number one.
15:05He's locked in about 1.2 seconds ahead of the man who won the super bike race earlier this week.
15:11You saw the pit light flashing.
15:12That tells him mandatory pit stop on lap number one of three.
15:16Harrison comes in.
15:17We're going to go down to Lee Johnson, who is on pit wall.
15:20I've seen Dean Harrison just come in now.
15:23And I've been listening to the guys up in the commentary box.
15:25And honestly, the pace has been absolutely blistering.
15:27So any concerns over damp patches that were a little bit earlier on in the day have now gone.
15:32So we're going to witness John McGuinness just roll into his pit box right now.
15:35And see the guys get straight to work.
15:37So no interest in going for a rear tire.
15:39He doesn't even go for the rear stand.
15:41So that guy on the back of the bike now is just holding the bike still so the fuel man can fill the fuel in.
15:47If you can see Michael's position, it was here.
15:49Yeah, we're going to witness him come into this box right now.
15:52So it will be really interesting if we can hear the guys talking about what happened.
15:55Right, so he's just shed to his mechanic.
16:00The bike's a little bit too hard.
16:01So he's tricking one.
16:03Yeah, middle of preload off the forks there.
16:05I don't know if he's going to do.
16:06Yeah, he's going to do something in the rear.
16:08So that's going to be on the compression because he's gone straight on the clickers.

16:15But yeah, I'm expecting a big push on here from Michael and Lobb back in.
16:19And I'm going to ask the team if there's any more information as to what's been said or anything down here.

16:26Well, Lee can't see from his position that Davey Todd has been pushed the length of the pit lane.
16:31Cameron Donald, he was 1.2 seconds back.

16:41That's gutting for Todd.

16:44Absolutely devastating for both Davey and the 810 team that are working so hard this week.
16:49We have no idea what the problem was, but the bike just did not fire.
16:55So looking at our splits coming into Grandstand.
16:57Bear in mind that doesn't account for the problem Todd had in the pits.
17:01Connor Cummins will be P2.
17:02James Hillier P3, but with Dunlop literally three hundredths of a second behind him.
17:07Oh, no, that's Hutchie getting off the bike, walking away.
17:10Did get it back to Douglas and the pits, but very disappointed.
17:14And as are we, he would have been in the mix for that podium.

17:34You won't know Davey's there as yet, but he'll certainly know soon because I would think

17:43It's been a brilliant performance.

17:48Harrison cranks the factory Honda over to the right hand side.
17:51The fans are going mad as he comes down the finish straight here.
17:54And he does the double in the Superstop class.
17:57It's his fifth TT win and the first time he's won two in one week.
18:02Dean Harrison takes it on the Honda from Davey Todd and Michael Dunlop,
18:06who get back to the podium despite their issues today.
18:17Ah, you've done the double, Dean.
18:19Superstock TT, two wins in a row.
18:23You and the team must just be full of elation.
18:26Honestly, yeah.
18:27Words can't describe.
18:28I'm absolutely over the moon to get the two wins in the Superstock Thao race.
18:31I've just...
18:32I got off to a real hard start and sort of rid my pit bar.
18:34Now sort of P1, P2 and P1 over the mountain again.
18:37Then I just saw P1 plus 13 coming out of Glen Ellen on the lap two.
18:42And I thought, ah.
18:43So I carried on as hard as I could and thought, right,
18:44I'll carry on this lap to try and manage that.
18:46If I can keep that lead the same, I thought,
18:48there's no way someone's going to make 13, 14 seconds on me in a lap.
18:51So I just kept the head down there.
18:52Then I got up to P1 plus 20 and I just read my board from there
18:55and just sort of managed, just managed it really.
18:57And sort of knocked it off a little bit on the last lap and just brought it home.
19:00But no, massive thanks to the whole team, all the Honda
19:02and everyone's put a brilliant bike together.
19:04And great to see the Honda Fireblade in P1.
19:07We know that you're working on the set up all throughout qualifying.
19:10So is the bike feeling good?
19:11Yeah, honestly, we're constantly trying to adapt.
19:13And everyone's in the same boat really here.
19:16It's such a difficult place.
19:17Trying to set your bike up around here is a bit of a compromise.
19:20We had a little bit of stability issues.
19:22We've near enough cord now.
19:23And it just means I can ride the bike how I want to ride the bike.
19:29Dino does it again.
19:30I think after the first race, Cam, we all said, you know,
19:32he kind of caught everybody out a little bit, that two lap dash.
19:35Not everybody thought that he would be able to repeat it in race two,
19:39but he did and then some.
19:41Yeah, I think that performance in race one put additional pressure on Davey
19:46and Michael to respond.
19:48Michael buckled a little bit under the pressure on the first lap.
19:50Davey had another handful of bad luck.
19:52But at the end of the day,
19:53neither of them could just match that outright pace
19:55that Dean's able to do on that Fireblade.
19:57So another sensational result
19:59and leave those other two lads even more hungry.
20:01Yeah, absolutely so.
20:02And it's the same sketch in the sidecars as well.
20:04No guarantees despite the form of the Crow brothers in race one.
20:08We'll show you what happened in race two when we come back from the break.

20:24Time to remind ourselves now of what happened in the second
20:26of the three-wheeling media sidecar TT races.
20:29And after race one, Cam, really the only question going into this one
20:32was could anybody close the gaps with the Crow brothers?
20:35And what kind of lap time would these guys be capable of?
20:38Yeah, we've got no idea what they're capable of.
20:40And I don't think they know themselves what they're capable of as yet.
20:42But yeah, it's left the competition scratching their heads.
20:45But so many new pairings and newcomers to the TT further down the order.
20:50They're all taking big steps forward as they're coming to grasp
20:53with the lap speeds they're going to have to do
20:55if they're going to catch those boys ahead.
20:56Yep, the Crow brothers setting the standard then in the sidecars.
20:59But as Cam said, lots of other stories to look out for in this one.
21:02Let's find out what happened with Andrew Colley.
21:14Go time then for the three-wheeling.media sidecar TT race two.
21:17The big question on everybody's lips is can anybody get anywhere near these two?
21:21Ryan and Callum Crowe.
21:24They won both races last year.
21:26They had a dominant victory with a lap record in race one this year.
21:30This was the pairing which was closest to them.
21:33Ben Burchill and Patrick Rosney off the line.
21:35And they will be swiftly followed by Lee Crawford and Scott Hardy.
21:40That was the order of the podium in race one.
21:43As they head off down Bray Hill for the first time.
21:45Awesome onboard shot.
21:47Look how low it is to the road.
21:50Not a hint of a lift at the bottom of the hill cam either.
21:54That is Kieran Clarke and Andrew Johnson off the line on their Yamaha CES.
22:01Followed swiftly by Todd Ellis and Emmanuel Clement.
22:04You're back with the Crows out front now.
22:08Callum Crowe tucked in.
22:12Just look at those body movements.

22:24The physicality, the gymnastics of the passengers around this course is incredible.

22:31So they've just jumped straight on these outfits.
22:33And they are in at the deep end immediately.
22:36The amount of physical effort by that passenger.

22:45It's very un-bike like isn't it?
22:47Especially on the right hand corners where that weight goes on the sidecar wheel.

24:19It's also brutal on the driver and passenger.
24:21Look at the bumps they're crossing coming through Kirk Michael.

31:36coming on the dash, even more important to be on the throttle and not rolling off anywhere you can
31:42possibly get away with it to carry as much momentum as you can. This is Michael Evans who of course
31:47got that incredible podium in the first race with the P2, he was so over the moon, so emotional
31:53being followed by this man who has been utterly dominant this week on the Twins and the Supersports,
31:59the master of the mid-size down the small bikes, can he make it four from four in those two categories,
32:04two double wins? Oh Adam McLean launches off the line. And now Davey Todd, Davey Todd's P5 in the
32:14first encounter, interesting to hear what Clive Padgett was saying as well about the development
32:19of these machines and they've obviously got something up their sleeve for next year haven't
32:22they? Yeah it's a new project for Clive, he's very experienced, he likes racing, he likes winning,
32:26you won't be happy to just make out the numbers, they'll continue to develop this bike I'm sure.
32:32Michael Evans through Glen Helen, this will be the first of our proper splits to see how
32:39everybody's getting on in terms of pace.
32:40Well, something to miss there, no. Evans looks over his shoulder, hangs a foot off to the side,
32:49falls off the side of the road and Michael Evans who got a podium in race one, he's out of race two,
32:54meanwhile Dunlop's come through and the gap on Paul Jordan is 7.8 seconds at Glen Helen which is our
33:00first sector on lap one. Oh McLean's not sitting between, 4.2 back, still that's a big chunk of time
33:06camp. Yeah it is, we saw Michael Dunlop make a mistake in the Superstop race earlier in the day
33:11running on on the first lap but no such error now, he's going to make amends for that and he's got
33:17his head down. Baby Todd's going well, just three seconds down I guess with a bit more seat time.
33:24I think Clive Padgett's been busy fiddling that pattern as well this week and I think they're
33:28probably going to get a little more out of that bike they can, definitely wasn't as fast as they
33:32expected it to be in that first race. That is a picture of disappointment.
33:40Michael Rutter exits the hairpin as Michael Dunlop comes in behind him, Dunlop just tucks in
33:46immediately and here comes Davey Todd now. I'm not going to lie, I like it with the Moto2 fairing on
33:52it, I really do. I know it's not traditional, the traditional look of the pattern but it doesn't
33:56seem to be a lot left of the traditional bikes anyway Cam, the amount these things are modified is
34:00insane. Yeah everyone's working so hard to gain an advantage both in their riding and in their
34:06equipment and this is another way of gaining the advantage with the aero. Gap now is 8.9 to
34:12Michael Dunlop so he extends that, Mike Brown slots into P3, look 4.2 back then 2.2 to McLean,
34:17Jordan a further 3.3 back so it's fairly tight once you get outside the top three, look from third
34:25down to sixth, well third down to fifth certainly Herbertson now. You could easily lose a couple of
34:29seconds in the blink of an eye so it's still certainly a race for those minor placings.
34:37We're well underway with the entire cover insurance in between TT Race 2 coming in for the mandatory
34:42pit stops, look up top left and you'll see the pit light flashing, that's to remind the riders
34:46if you ride past at this point you will be disqualified. So into the pits they come and these smaller
34:53machines as Cameron Dunlop alongside me confirmed early will not need a rear tyre but they will
34:58need fuel. We've seen plenty of issues this week haven't we, you've seen races decided by bikes not
35:04restarting or tardy pit stops you've got to get it right. Absolutely it's crucial. We can see Michael's
35:12pit crew standing there waiting for him and he's just rolling see if we can hear if he's making any
35:17change to run into that bike. Gary Ryan's in his ear telling them all the information he
35:22needs to know. He looks really really calm in there. The bike has just come down for a little look as
35:28well to see what's happening and see if he can get any information off that team to relay that over to
35:32his rider Davey Todd. As you can see the fuel there just filling over as he comes around.
35:38There's Rob Hodson coming in for the pit.
35:42Tear off, drink bottle, fuel.
35:48He's the man they've got to catch Michael Dunlop.
35:53Fantastic shots of Davey Todd here I think when the trees fly by that quickly you get such an idea of the pace
35:58that's when the heli's wonderful is when it's down low and close like this up to Balagueri comes Dominic Herbertson.
36:08Well I'll tell you what there's no better person to get a toe in the super twin class from than Michael Dunlop and then this could really work strategically this could play into Paul Jordan's hands.
36:19Whether Mike Brown has any idea of that gap closing or not time will tell.
36:23And there's the man that is in front of Paul Jordan at the moment on the leaderboard Mike Brown.
36:28Let's take a look at the splits and he has he's got him Jordan has got Mike Brown so Paul Jordan who's tucked up behind Michael Dunlop has taken about four seconds off in that last sector and looking at our split times here Cam.
36:41Dunlop is on lap record pace here on the super twin if he keeps it up if he doesn't roll off to look after the machinery he could take a new lap record.
36:49Well will Paul Jordan actually slow Michael Dunlop down at all? We've talked a lot about that this week having a rider behind you will actually pull a couple of RPMs out of your maximum on the big straights.
37:00The bike will fill the drag if you've got someone directly in your toe none more so than in this class.
37:06Big safe margin for Michael Dunlop he's been the master of both the mid-sized and the small bikes this week.
37:19It is his fourth TT win he does the double in super twin over the line Dunlop for his 33rd TT win.
37:29An outright lap record for Michael Dunlop in super twin as well 123.056.
37:35That sees him atop the top step of the podium for the fourth time this week.
37:39debut top P2 and Dom Herbertson just holds on to P3 and Paul Jordan who is in the toe with Dunlop on that final lap.
37:56Michael Dunlop first position for you there you and the pattern look to be faultless all week and now that 123 mile per hour lap.
38:03How was the race for you?
38:04Yeah surprising the bikes were good we didn't try not to do a big pile of laps on it obviously just because well we didn't have the chance anyway really.
38:11But the main thing was and it was the last lap I'm surprised because I backed off.
38:15Not a good bit but I backed off obviously I maintained the bike to try and make sure everyone was alright you know.
38:21So no it's great the pattern boys again have done a fantastic job.
38:24I'd like to thank them boys.
38:25The main thing is obviously the main thing for me is winning races.
38:30You know and everybody says you need a you need a pattern so boys got patterns so I'm glad still be at the front.
38:37And you say about winning races but you've now collected over 50 podiums that's another brilliant milestone.
38:42Yeah yeah it's been good like you know I mean it's a this week's been fast it's been hot and heavy.
38:47Four wins already which is the main achievement for me and I want to keep winning.
38:53I'm enjoying riding the bikes.
38:55Lack of practice really if I'm honest with you has hindered us a bit in the big bikes really and probably 600 too but no I'm looking forward to it.
39:03So just see what way the weather's going to be and hopefully the changes we've made.
39:07We've made changes for the first session or for the practice lap that didn't really work so hopefully we can make something to make it work.
39:13After two long grueling weeks testing the limits of human mental and physical endurance here at the 2025 Isle of Man TT races it's been perhaps fitting that today's build up to the grand finale has been another nail biter.
39:41Once again the weather has played havoc with the schedule.
39:45The roads have been closed for about an hour or so here and the riders have been out for an inspection lap.
39:50Let's get the latest after that then Grace Webb and Lee Johnston are out in the paddock for us guys.
39:56Yeah I don't know if you can hear that Gary Thompson is still speaking over the tannoy now making a final announcement to the rest of the paddock and it sounds like they're making the decision based on safety which all their decisions are that the race is looking like it won't go ahead.
40:15Although if you hear now there's still a ripple of applause that's going around the paddock because I think there's an appreciation from everyone that these decisions are not taken lightly and it's for the best interest of all the competitors and their teams isn't it Lee?
40:31Yeah we were down in the middle of everything when the riders came back in and honestly these are firstly my friends so we've sort of a good insight as to how the mood is and these guys want to race and they want to win as much as anyone else on the planet so to see them come in and be genuinely worried about the conditions and then it's been handled in the most professional way possible.
40:56So the call finally made not to run the senior TT a huge call of course as well and a mixture of emotions from the riders let's hear from the legend himself John McGuinness with Lee Johnston.
41:09I'm down here joined by the one and only John McGuinness John you've been coming here as long as anyone else on the grid conditions out there are not ideal.
41:16No I feel a bit emotional really to be honest just been a tough two weeks tough two weeks for everybody you know delays and everything's thrown at us and I think to be fair if you look at the positives we've had nine races out of ten I think they've done really well you know it's been yeah I just wanted to start the senior at number one you know number one factory Honda you know
41:44will I ever get a chance to do it again I don't know but you know it's the right call I think it wasn't it's rideable but sort of not raceable if you like I mean it's easy down here you're like looking at the sun's out but it's brutal out there and you've got four laps of just keeping the motorcycle on the road and if it had gone out there and something had happened it would have been bad for the whole event and like now we can go do you know what you know take the positives out of what's what we've done for the last couple of years.
42:12And then you know we'll all be in 365 days whatever it is we'll all be masking in sunshine hopefully and then tearing around doing what we love doing.
42:25Probably the only guy who might have been a little bit happy with the fact the senior was called off was Peter Hickman of course Davey won races this year Michael Dunlop won races this year Dean Harrison won races and of course poor old Pete was out injured but he gets to look forward to next year and coming back.
42:40Yeah well I mean we saw how much Davey's win on the Superbike TT meant to Pete it was quite emotional for him I think they've started that growing that team together to see one of his bikes on the top step even though he couldn't be there himself.
42:53But at the end of the day I guess it's probably a little nice for Pete that another name's not going on that senior trophy because he'll want to be putting his back on it next year.
43:01Yeah without Pete in the mix all the solo races were were wrapped up by Dino Davey and Dunlop but on three wheels we've got a new kind of legacy building with the crow brothers.
43:12Yeah we certainly do that was incredible to watch and I guess it was the favorites we expected to take the win but I don't think anyone expected those crow brothers to dominate the way they did and we still had a sensational seven solo races and those two sidecar battles so you know nine races and we saw another two course records go as well the crows 121 now in the sidecar and Michael Dunlop pushing the super twin record out 123 so considering the conditions it was still fast.
43:39Yep it was fast it was fun we were denied the big one in the end but still what a year we had here at the Isle of Man TT races 2025 we will see you again and do it all again in 2026 bye for now.
