Nelamangala: A bike rider, Tabraiz (resident of Subhash Nagar), lost his life after attempting to avoid a pothole on the road, allegedly due to negligence by the Public Works Department and municipal authorities. He sustained critical injuries in the fall and was admitted to NIMHANS, where he died during treatment.

Following his death, the family placed the body at their residence and announced a protest, refusing to perform the last rites until justice is assured. Tabraiz’s mother, Zarina, said he was the sole breadwinner, doing POP work, and was taking care of the family after her surgery.
