There's finally good news for customers caught up in the collapse of Queensland caravan manufacturer Zone RV. Some of the lucky ones who paid in full have received their luxury vans, but hundreds more along with suppliers and employees are still owed millions.

00:11arriving in Queensland just as the Sunshine Coast-based manufacturer entered administration.
00:16I definitely have more grey hairs now, so maybe this grey nomad lives well.

00:26The Noosa residents already own a Zone and opened their mobile home and their hearts to the stranded pair.
00:32Jenny and I sort of looked at each other and thought we can do something to help these people.
00:39Zone RV owes hundreds of customers, suppliers and employees $42 million.
00:44This week administrators have begun allowing some customers, who'd paid in full, to collect their vans.
00:50But they have to pay an extra fee, understood to be 12%, which equates to tens of thousands of dollars.
00:56We have somewhere where we can start the dream we had and just feel really sorry for people who won't be able to do that.
01:04While the Norrins won't make it home for Christmas, the happy campers can finally hit the road.
01:09Most other customers will have to wait until the new year to find out whether they can get their vans or their money back.
01:15At the next creditors meeting it will be revealed whether there's a buyer for the company.
