00:00Ole Miss is in the letdown of all letdown spots after finally circling that game against their
00:07former coach in LSU last weekend and getting their revenge. Well, now they got to go to a place that,
00:14if we're being honest, Craig, it's not, there hasn't been a whole lot to be excited about in
00:19the swamp over the last couple of seasons, at least not towards the middle of the season to
00:24the back end of it, but there is a lot to be excited about with the Florida Gators here.
00:30This line opened up one and a half, Craig, last week. It has been nothing but Gator money. The
00:37problem is the public is all over Ole Miss. They see them getting three, three and a half points.
00:44They just saw what they did to LSU. The public loves Ole Miss. I don't love Ole Miss and the
00:51swamp here at all. Yeah, very, very few things I root for these days in sports now. The Gators
00:56remain one of those things for me, having gone to University of Florida and graduated there.
01:02So, you know, I, for the first time in a while, you know, and I guess you could probably say
01:09even
01:10last season too, but Joe, my, not my interest level, but my optimism level this year for the
01:18first time was low on the Gators. Because, you know, Joe, how many times can you get hit with,
01:25it's a new coach, it's a new system, it's going to be good. You know, Dan Mullen, they fired him.
01:31I was like, all right, fine. That's probably the right move. They hired Billy Napier. Okay,
01:35that's fine. That's probably the right move. It wasn't the right move firing Mullen. It wasn't
01:38the right move hiring Billy Napier. And then, you know, they, they surprise you a little bit at the
01:43beginning of the season and you think something's going on, but, but the Gators season has been
01:47over so fast. The last two years, the hurricanes absolutely crushed them. And, and then you,
01:54and then, so what happens here with Florida is that you watch their first two games of the season,
01:59Joe, and you start to think, okay, are they good? Or are we getting fooled again here? You know,
02:04like, is this one of those things where they're just not really playing anybody and then they're
02:08going to play a good team and get whacked. And then Joe, they go to Auburn and they look great.
02:13They look great in Auburn. And now I'm, I'm excited again. So I hope I don't get fooled
02:19on Saturday, but they can run the ball, the Gators, as good as any team in the country.
