00:00The only way this bill could be more cartoonishly evil is if it mandated tying damsels in distress
00:05to railroad tracks.
00:07Seth Meyers declared on Monday's late night that the Senate's Trumpcare bill is almost
00:11comically villainous when looking at the winners and losers of the health care proposal.
00:16The latest CBO report says that the Senate health care bill would leave 22 million people
00:21without insurance.
00:22Meyers described it like this.
00:24The bill is essentially a giant tax cut for the wealthy, paid for with Medicaid cuts.
00:28The host also complimented Obama for trolling Trump by calling the Senate draft of the bill mean,
00:34a term Trump had reportedly used himself during a private closed-door meeting with Republican
00:39senators, despite praising the bill in public.
00:42The White House had not confirmed that Trump had in fact called the bill mean until the
00:46president came forward during an interview with Fox and Friends and took credit for using
00:50the term to describe it.
00:52Meyers said of Trump's confession,
00:53You dummy. You're not supposed to admit to that. Obama trolled you. You were so easy.
00:58The late night host added this.
01:00If Obama came out tomorrow and said, you know, we should kill poor people and use their blood
01:04to lubricate our golf carts, you'd be screaming, my idea.
01:07Meyers called the bill even worse than how Trump has described it, saying,
01:11This bill is nothing more than a giveaway to wealthy people, funded by taking health
01:15insurance away from the poor. It's worse than mean, it's savage.
