00:00President Trump is backing a Senate Republican bill that would deposit as much as 1,500 bucks

00:04directly into Americans' health care savings accounts. The bill is aimed to reduce the

00:10mounting cost for 24 million Americans who use the health insurance marketplace that was created

00:15under Obamacare. I like the concept. I don't want to give the insurance companies any money.

00:20They've been ripping off the public for years. Obamacare is a scam to make the insurance company

00:25rich. So instead, the bill would give individuals the money, but in many cases, they would then give

00:32that money to the insurance companies. A vote on the bill along with another measure that would

00:36extend government Obamacare subsidies for three years is likely happening today. Here's the rub

00:41though. Neither bill is likely to pass. The conventional wisdom seems to be that both pieces

00:46of legislation just funnel money to the insurance companies in different ways and don't solve the

00:51real issues behind rising health care costs.
